its shocking how slow our memories can get in this country. this is the same man we were all praying should leave aso rock cos of the corruption and grand plan to instil a third term in our constitution. yet he is now the elder states man. the old man should be tried for corruption.

can someone remind me of the massacre that happened in Odi village where everyone was killed under the instruction of our dear former president OBJ. if you all have forgotten so soon God hasn't

yeah yeah yeah.... here we go again...

the GMB fanatics who don't know they are and are ready to see GMB as the God sent messiah and the GEJ unflinching crusaders who refuse to see the rot the man has brought on us who are not close enough to siphon government money.

i pity this generation... we shall be here to discuss the both of them in the next 1 year. what was, what is and/or what could have been.

last time i checked, Osinbajo was not the Vice president of Nigeria, rather he is the senior pastor of RCCG and an aspirant of APC...
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Escapee Says Some Chibok Girls Are Still Alive by jaz(m): 11:27pm On Feb 13, 2015
I support neither GEJ or GMB. neither can or should be the president of the desired Nigeria we all dream of.

that said, a point has been made by the guy above me which is 'what exactly has GMB done to facilitate the return of the chibok girls and the end of boko haram ?

I will be happy to hear from the GMB supporters...

General Muhammadu Buhari observed the jumuah today at An Nuur Mosque Wuse II, Abuja. I was at the mosque. The general's presence was not even announced by the Imam. He didn't attempt to campaign. He simply observed his prayers and quietly left the mosque.

I'm not going to compare Buhari to a certain presidential candidate who turns every church appearance to a campaign platform.
... and there's the pastors who happily give the holy altar to such wretched abuse for popularity and quads

and its curious that the prime suspect (the General Momoh) is the same person putting together this board of inquiry.

Its true GEJ has nearly destroyed this country of ours as we are just about surviving, but i can assure every single Nigerian that Buhari is no better.

We will be here to discuss his failure in the next 1 year, that's believing he will win...

I wonder when we will have credible persons lacking negative history and skeletons to come forward and take the mantle of Presidency

i can neither vote for buhari nor jonathan. they are not the agents for transformation or change we need in this country. i only wished other candidates can really be serious about vying for the presidency.

TOKUGAWA:
different reasons, best known to each individual into the business. I know of a guy that doesn't buy anything below 1kg ,he buys upto 3tons and pays cash. According to him,it sells faster. There's still market for fishes above 2kg,but its not everybody that has the patience. Buyers of bigger fishes has a way of buying, for instance;for your fish to be classified as Big, 13pieces must make 25kg.
hmmm... i guess we can then say the market is segmented along those lines. so what are the likely market demand projections for melange and large size fishes looking into the future, say 3-5 years from now?
AgricultureRe: Hidden Truths About Catfish Business!!! by jaz(m): 4:49pm On Jan 22, 2015
TOKUGAWA:
Yeah,btw #350 n #400.
so if melange sell for that price then how much do 6 months table sized fish go for? ... or am i missing somethinghuh

Yimu all around.
The real question here is what do you want? Your own personal preference. After that, take a look at your budget and then decide.
I'm a serious biker with a very professional organization, I need to do suits, ties and the whole 9 yards at work. You won't be riding to work in your suit bro. You ride in your proper riding gear, have a change of clothes in your backpack or bike-luggage and change at the office. Been doing this for over 3 years now cheesy
Trust me, the chics dig the bikes over cars.
That said, riding is expensive. The bikes are expensive, riding gear is expensive, parts are expensive. The rainy season is though on bikers, but as we say, if you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride.
P.S: I also own an SUV and drove to work today instead of riding (rain been dey fall) :p
wish i could also do this. i have an suv which i drive to work daily but traffic in lagos is a killer. i spend 6-8hrs daily in traffic. leave early get home late. thought of getting a power bike to commute to work and back and drive my car weekends. Other option is get a flat close to the office which would cost me around #1m. wondering which one to go for.

Car TalkRe: My Car Was Seized By Lastma For Not Having Lagos Drivers Sticker. by jaz(m): 4:00pm On Dec 19, 2014
there are 2 things involved....

1. if you work in the kind of place where i do work which does not give room for social crusade due to plentiful terms and conditions in the well crafted contract letter then you better go settle and get your car out.

2. if you have the time and the money, then my advice, pursue the matter. please see the steps and implications below:

- as earlier advised, go wit a lawyer in disguise, and discuss what the offence was and modality for in-house settlement, remember to tape it all down and mention names in the recording
- take pictures of your vehicle in their compound. this will get them upset, worried and suspicious. make sure you take the pictures with another phone cos they might attempt to forcefully collect and damage your phone
- come back to discuss with the superior officer there that you are making a case and you have evidence of extortion and wilful abuse of power authority and jurisdiction. in this case you will have to pay the requested fine and remember to have a copy of the revenue receipt.
- give them a copy of decided cases where lastma, frsc etc are not empowered to fine any motorist as it is a case of one judging in his own case for their reading pleasure
- send a letter to head of lastma, commissioner of transport and governor's office informing them of your case. and document the status of your car

I guarantee you they will beg you to come collect your car... but make sure you have all you tax payments till date
