It didn't work too but I later found a solution.
I have an SD card installed, so all files downloaded from Chrome went there. When I changed download location to internal storage, it installed automatically. No more parsing error.
I swear, I've wasted up to 500mb downloading and deleting various apks and apps to help parsing. E pain me no me small

Go for aeros whatsapp then, loads and lots of customizations, can upload 5 minutes video, direct status download and so much themes plus twerking like scheduled response

Am even using the aero versions of instagram and twitter.

You downloaded the wrong apk, as the most recent one is 8.95, not 8.93 as seen in your screenshot.

And the one I do download in my former phone doesn't carry FM or GB prefix. It just appears as WhatsApp like that. I even tried FM WhatsApp, it's still giving me the same thing * Screenshot attached*

Guys.. who's using foaud WhatsApp on their RN10 pro? If I want to install it says "there was a problem while parsing the package".
I've tried both latest and an older version. It still says same thing.

Guys please I need ur help. Ever since I did update of my note 5 to android 9 , my phone keeps going on and off on it's own. It's by God's grace it's on right now for me to type this.
I have never had problem prior to the update. Just the occasional app crashes that's all.
I updated because I found out my phone wasn't loading some websites no matter the browser I use but my mum's phone which is a tecno spark-something could load them. My phone is higher in spec than hers except for the android OS version. So I figured that if I updated,
it might solve my issue (If not for that,
I don't like anything system update on mid phones). Well I did the update and some of the websites started loading on my phone.
I loved the update infact coz it gave me an fm radio app, and allowed me use my phone light below 15%. Plus the other cool stuffs.
Now the problems
- phone keeps going on silent/vibration mode on its own.
- phone then starts going off on it's own if torchlight is on for too long.
- phone starts going off on it's own and coming back on automatically whether torch is on or not. This can go on for a whole night till the next day.

Please I want to know who else has had this issue? What did you do?
-If I upgrade to OS 10 will it stop?
- those who had issues with their OS 9 updated did the issues resolve after updating to OS 10?
