The one I imported once, clean title, within the few months it stayed before it was sold, I spent over 70% of the import value repairing one electrical gremlin or the other and the person you are recommending handled majority of the fixes

I won't say with full authority that they're all bad cars but my personal experience was terrible and it's not for lack of trying. I visited all the recommended big names in their mechanic village and yet at the end it came to recommendation on engine conversion

Sold the car "as is" at over 50% loss eventually
Waited for your comment 😂

Whether the pressure is on the head or on the edge; Whether you are going crazy with the pressure or not; the ball joint is not a repairable part. Once you have a reason to press it, it is a reason to replace it. The ball joint has very tiny tolerance. The ball is supposed to move smoothly in the socket. There's supposed to be grease in between. Pressing the head or the edge will wound the smooth surface of the ball and this will make smooth movements impossible, causing more harm to it. Besides, the first step to ball joint spoiling is when the rubber boot cuts open, letting the grease escape and allowing water and elements to enter. You CAN NOT reverse all these by just pressing. Please do the right thing.
Go tell the Indians and Pakistani that the ball joint is not a repairable part.
Just because you've not seen it done don't mean it's not possible.

You're acting woke.
Continue.
You ask questions and learn if you do not know something.
So when you're tightening the nut on a perfectly okay and firm ball joint and the stud turns with it you'd discard it because you want to sound morally correct and right?

Macmilla:

Please do not add pressure to the back of any ball joint. If your ball joint has excessive free play, REPLACE IT. Pressing the head of the ball joint to make it right is a recipe for disaster. Even if it looks like it worked, you will face a bigger problem in less than a month.
You quoted me out of context, but it's fine.
Adding clamp pressure to the edge won't cause any harm. You might mess it up if you add excessive pressure to the center.
Besides no body is asking you to go crazy with the clamp, it's just to stop the ball from spinning in the socket while tightening the nuts if it does spins.
But it's fine, do what works.

I drive a Honda CR-V 2005.

I need a car technician to fix my car. Sometimes it feels sluggish sometimes and it consumes too much fuel. But the main goal is to ensure the car check engine light to go away permanently.

Here are the error codes.
P0135 - 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P1077 - Intake Manifold Runner Control System Malfunction Low RPM (ACURA, HONDA)

It is also running a Open Loop (Fault) fuel system.

Pictures enclosed for live monitoring.

It is a simple fix.
Kindly call 07089030689 if you're finding trouble getting it resolved.

Good morning great people. I am based in Lagos. Please I have a Mazda 3 hatchback 2007 module. When driving and revving it the tachometer shows high (at times getting to the red zone) but it doesn't accelerate and jerks too. Please does Mazda have a service centre in Lagos? I would be grateful if you shared the address with me. If not, is there a Mazda technician who can check the body control module of the car and solve the problem?

Your swift response will be greatly appreciated.

Is the M/T light on the dash flashing?

Thanks bro, just trying to exhaust all possible cheap options and also trying to buy time till I am able to save up for another tranny.

I suspect same thing too, just that I can't identify which exactly. After scanning the tranny, there's no error code. I washed and clicked the she solenoids on the tranny, same thing.

However, when the car has been driven for few minutes and has warned up, the tranny works perfectly well, selects well and fast.

So in my thinking, a pressure valve is failing but I don't know which it is and I feel like this is a small issue to go buy a new tranny for...only if I can identify the faulty or failing component.

If I open the sump, are there solenoids in there?
On the external body of the tranny, how many sensors are there that I can test?
Kindly assist.
Thanks.
I understand how draining the thought of replacing an entire transmission because of a failing tiny component could be.
The DIY way of testing those solenoid valves here is by sending 12v to them and listen for it's click.

I Just purchased Naija Used Hyundai Accent 2013. But on inserting my scanner the VIN number it displays is different with the label VIN pasted on the car body. My mechanic told me the Catalyst is intact, shock absorber, break disk and some other stuffs are follow come... but the car suffered severe abused from its previous owner. No maintenance at all. Trying to fix the car . The fuel economy of the car is far better than Toyota Corolla, am really impressed
You might run into issues with the Police if the car you bought was stolen or has some kind of stories behind it due to the tampered VIN.
I've read cases where Police used scanner to compare VIN on the body and the ECU.
You might need to do an affidavit to drive the car with peace of mind.
The Accent should be compared with a Yaris and not Corolla.

Bro, where can I get this in Nigeria.
My 07 accord tranny jerks.

Probably this will help solve the issue.

Thanks.
The issue with your transmission is most definitely a failing pressure valve in the transmission.
That stuff might not help.
But you're free to give a try.

Good morning everyone, my friends 07 accord jerks when entering gear 2. This usually happens when the car is cold but when driven for sometime and fully warmed up, there is no jerk when changing gears. The level/impact of jerk is dependent on the acceleration speed.

He has scanned the transmission several times but there is no error code.
Also, when slowing down, you feel a slight jerk, like changing from gear 2 to gear 1.

Transmission has been serviced with original Honda DW-1 tranny oil, solenoids have also been washed even though there is no error code.
Kindly assist to know what the issue is.
Keep driving that way.
Ease off your foot when it wants to shift to make the shift a bit smooth till transmission oil warns up.

Pls house, help me. My honda accord 2005 idle speed is unstable at idle. But once I detach the cold coolant temperature sensor ( cold start ), the idle speed will balance.

Rewire insisted it's the throttle body, we changed it, nothing. He said most throttle body are bad or have been worked on. Until we get a good one. But I said it should be the cold start. Since the fault goes off once I detached it.

We replaced cold start but same issue. I'm very confused.
Codes are p2185, p0122, p0141 , p0118
I'd check the connection to the TPS if I were him.
Remote diagnosis would be difficult as you'd need to address each codes individually.
Feel free to reach out to me on 07089030689 for tips on what to look out for and or fix.

Replace the ball joints and shafts with genuine ones and inspect while having your oil changed or monthly if you drive through terrible roads and can't pickup suspension noises.

What's the repair history of the car?
I asked because of the 1st 2 codes.
You'd need to check the timing components and replace whatever is making the car go out of time then reset timing marks on both crank and cam shafts to align well.
Inspect the MAF sensor, wire, and socket for the last code and replace the sensor if all checks fine.

Hi I own an Honda accord 2008 Car started revving high on it’s own and jerk when I engage the gear, Got the injector washed and it stopped for about 3 days only to do the same thing again. The a mechanic said it’s injector mouth and I have replaced it, called a Rewire to scan check cuz its not starting anymore, now a Rewire said the ecu is not communicating with the scanner, he can’t read any error. Any advice please
If the rewire could not get the DLC to work, then you need to look for another rewire ASAP

Saw this accident and I instantly knew someone would die in it.
Let's stay safe out there and be safety conscious when driving.
Always take a glance at your rear view mirrors. It would save your life in so many ways.
If only the drivers were conscious enough, they probably might have swerved away from the truck or quickly jump out of their vehicles to save their lives.
May God console the family of the deceased.

House please I need help o. I did a oil change in my 2009 Honda Accord 4 cylinder on the 20th July last month... Yesterday afternoon I started my car, and I wanted to pick up something from the trunk and I noticed small white smoke coming out of my exhaust, but it wasn't obvious... I touched my exhaust pipe it was black. This morning when I checked the oil, it has was very low... Please how can I fix this issue 🙏
Do a compression test to know if it's a worn rings or bad valve stem seals.

Please I need help with my car.
Car model: Rav4 2003.
I started hearing this kind of tapping noise from the top engine.
Mechanic said it's the Camshaft.
Camshaft changed but the noise continues.
The noise comes out when the engine gets hot. No noise when the engine is cold.
After driving for about 30 - 45mins, the engine oil light starts blinking.
Mechanic suggests we change the oil and oil filter.
But I don't know whether that will solve the problems.
Abeg, advice please?
Looks like a worn out cam and crank bearing.
While at it inspect if their journals are good.
Inspect car for sludge.
