not so sure, but heard americal wnt to take over the market with their crude, which invariably meant they now wnt to start selling out crude, and not buying again. one of the reason the price of crude is going down, so that production will not be force to reduce, and prevent america crude from taking over the market. by opec member country. |

Hassan Taiwo Soweto writes on FB Today, i did my part, i made my stand. Happy joining OAU students to show President Jonathan his government and poverty-inducing capitalist policies are not welcomed. He expected a rousing welcome, instead he was confornted with a protest. Fayose got perhaps the biggest embarrassment of his life today. He walked confidently to Ife students expecting to be applauded. I can't yet forget the look of shock on his face as shout of Ole! Ole ! (Thief! Thief!) rented the air. Hastily his security details whisked him away. President Jonathan's convoy was delayed as students sat on the road chanting slogans. Clumsily one by one, the royal fathers made their way out not sure who next would be greeted with shout of "thief!" Those to be pitied (not sure if they even deserve it though) were the hundreds of PDP supporters who had thronged the campus with different banners to welcome Jonathan. They looked dejected, their banners hanging around them. How could they start dancing as they planned with the hundreds of students chanting solidarity songs just beside them? At the end, as the helicopters lifted from the ground, i didn't see a single person waving the President goodbye. It was like good riddance. If my guess is right, someone might soon be fired for fixing OAU on the President's itinery Despite attempts by a wing of the union leadership to sell-out, great Ife students have demonstrated how oppressors and exploiters should be treated. I would do it again anytime, any day. Doing this isn't because we support the APC. Years ago, i carried placards to give Tinubu the same welcome i joined others to give Jonathan today in the same University and at the same Oduduwa hall. I would do it again today just as my organisation, the Education Rights Campaign (ERC), played leading roles in the struggle to defeat the APC attemps to deny the downtrodden public education in LASU. PDP and APC supports the same ruinous capitalist philosophy that has created the embarrassing inequality in Nigeria despite massive oil wealth. Only the building of an alternative political party to fight to end capitalism and enthrone socialism can ensure our problems begin to have genuine solutions. To all those with whom we made the stand against president Jonathan today, Solidarity! |

One part of a woman’s body that many, nay, most men find very attractive, alluring and sexy is the breast. It is one part that has enjoyed so much attention from men. Even though men have theirs, with a negligible size though, they lust after these female organs for several reasons. As much as men love the female breasts, usually for aiding their sexual satisfaction and other reasons, a study has shown that there are life-changing health benefits of staring at women’s breasts, such as lowering blood pressure and reducing the instance of coronary artery disease. The study found that men who stare at women’s breasts for at least 10 minutes daily tend to live longer than those who do not. Even though men would like to maintain straight face while talking to women, the male eyes usually have a way of drifting down. In fact, a previous research had shown that when men are confronted with breasts, or even breast-related stimuli, like bras, they tend to start making bad decisions. It was pointed out in the study that men would rather watch videos of attractive women with lots of skin exposed and be compensated with a lesser amount than watch pastoral scenes where a large sum of money would be offeredas compensation. “This indicates that parts of men’s brains associated with reward, the pleasure centres, and the sites of goal-directed motivation, were shutting down the reasoning centres of their brains, primarily the pre-frontal cortex. Neurochemicals were activating those reward and motivational circuits to drive men toward taking smaller amount of money. So breasts are mightily tempting,” the study said. Regardless, study has shown that staring at the breasts for a length of time is beneficial to the men’s health. The study done by a German scientist, Dr. Karen Weatherby, and published in the New England Journal of Medicine, said staring at women’s breasts is not only healthy, but also elongates the life span of such men. The study, which was carried out over a period of five years, involved 500 men, half of whom were instructed to stare at women’s breasts in a lustful manner for at least 10 minutes every day, while the other half were instructed to abstain from doing such. Weatherby concluded that men who stared at the breasts more often, as instructed, showed lower rates of heart problems, a lower resting heart rate and lower blood pressure, all of which enable a healthy living and long life. He said men should stare at breasts for 10 minutes a day to improve the wellness oftheir hearts and live longer. Weatherby said, “Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female everyday is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out. When the two groups ofmen were tested, men that stared at breasts daily had lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates, as well as fewer instances of coronary artery disease. “Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improves blood circulation. Gazing at breasts makes men healthier and engaging in this activity a few minutes daily cuts the risk of stroke and heart attack by half. We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life forfour to five years.” It was gathered that many men are attracted to women with big breasts, and apart from the fact that all women experience increase in the size of their breasts during pregnancy and menstrual cycle, women with bigger breasts have been found to be men’s delight. In another study carried out on 200 male outpatients at three hospitals in Frankfurt, Germany, in same order with the previous study, half of the participants were told to look at female breasts, while the other half were told to refrain from doing so. After five years of issuing the instruction and monitoring the effect on the participants, it was found out that the chest-watchers had a healthier heart, as identified above and have the tendency of living longer than the other group. A number of men who spoke to our correspondent said they usually experience a surge in their hearts and an unusual faster heartbeat rate when they see women’s breasts, especially the bigger ones. Desmond Oni, 29, said he had always seen such sudden reaction as normal. “Whenever I see a woman’s breasts, especially those who open them for people to see, it feels like my heart would jump out of my body, and then whilst I still look at it, a number of things could run through my mind at a time.” Why then do men look at breasts, people might ask. The Director, Centre for Translational Social Neuroscience, Emory University, United States, Dr. Larry Young, who is also an expert in the neuroscience of social bonding, gave reasons why men love breasts, especially when looking at curvaceous women, those having an attractively curved shape. He explained that apart from the fact that humans are among the very rare animals that have sex face-to-face, looking into each other’s eyes, which breeds some intimacy between the two sexes, the mother-infant bonding brain activity could have made men lovers of breasts, even froma younger age. Young said, “Why are heterosexual men so fascinated by women’s breasts that they sometimes act as if the breasts are the seat of the soul? Well, we happen to be heterosexual men who are interested in biology and have been used to breasts since birth. “When a woman gives birth, her newborn will engage in some pretty elaborate manipulations ofher breasts. This stimulation sends signals along nerves and into the brain and the signals trigger the release of a neurochemical called oxytocin from the brain’s hypothalamus. Hence, the unusual attraction. “Biologically speaking, this obsession with breasts is pretty weird. Men are the only male mammals fascinated by breasts in a sexual context and women are the only female mammals whose breasts become enlarged at puberty, independent of pregnancy. We are also the only species in which males caress, massage and even orally stimulate the female breasts during pre-intimacy and sex. “Women do seem to enjoy the attention, at least at the right moments. Men are extremely drawn to breasts and it is not only biological, but an unconscious evolutionary drive deeply engrained in their brains.” Reacting to the study, a professor of psychology, Toba Elegbeleye, said if the study based its findings on a single factor, which is just staring at the breast, then, it could be regarded as inconclusive, more so because the medical condition of the participants before the study was not disclosed. He argued that what happened after the men stared at the breast was more important than the staring, adding that it was whatever the staring led to, such as sexual intercourse, that had the capacity to lower the blood pressure and give long life and not just the staring alone. He noted that non-forceful sexual intercourse, which could be an aftermath of the staring, could reduce blood pressure and increase blood circulation, which ultimately prolongs life because the staring is not an end on its own. He said, “I will prefer to ascribe that lowering of blood pressure and other benefits mentioned to the ultimate level where the man is relieved of the urge that the staring has started in him. But if it is not carried through, I want to doubt the veracity of that experiment. “It is a very tricky subject because it is difficult to isolate the staring as the only factor responsible for the difference in heart rate or blood circulation between the two groups. Staring at a woman’s breast can actually cause sexual excitement but it is usually a precursor to having sexual intercourse, which is an act that could raise the blood circulation. “If a man stares at a woman’s breast for 10 minutes spanning five years, it may return the man into a position that may be very injurious to his health except where he ends up masturbating or having sexual intercourse and about 39 per cent of men indulge in masturbation. “On a general note, when men see the nudity of a woman, something must agitate in their blood stream and biologically, it leads to a rise in their blood flow and tampers with their sexual system. However, beyond the seeing, it is what happens after, like sex, that could make them live longer, because normally, involvement in sex prolongs life. “Since the study didn’t present the other details, we can say it is inconclusive because what the men do after the staring must have tampered with their sexual system and has the capacity of lowering blood pressure.” www.punchng.com/entertainment/saturday-breeze/staring-at-womens-breasts-make-men-live-longer-healthier-study/ |
farano:I only feel sorry for my bro and sis been kill in the north. As a leader u must be prepare to face any thing that comes your way, bth the one you know that exist before you assume that position, and the ones that will happen when you are there. we all vited for GEJ to protect our intrest and secure our land. then if he think he cant cope instead of telling us they are on top of the matter for over 4yr, he should honorably stepdown, and let someone else give a try. cus to me it obvious GEJ have to answer to this incessant bombing and insecurity thru out the country, even in his own state, his family head been kidnapped, it ntin to write home about. |
farano:I dnt get you. |
FG, GEJ and PDP are on top of the matter. just sick and tired of this incessant bombing. this situation completely out of hand. The FG should just admit this, for four years, your frnda call you olodo, you throw spill up, that is not true, you sabi book well well, yet you no comot for one class for four year. just admit you no sabi anytin. and let pple come to your aid. |
this is a welcome development, for satellite town to develop as well. this is the problem of Lagos, cus every morning, millions head to ISLAND, later in the day, heading back to mainland. VI need to be decongest, manhour loss on the road is too much. |
ILIDEFI:i think, i and UnknowT have dealt with this on this same tread, this morwin, so no point going back to this again, kindly read thru the tread. Thanks and enjoy ur day. |
UnknownT:Lolz, is it now that, it is pure. they are all bird of same feather. But i think Obj is biting his finger now, regretting what he should have done when in power, but did not do, that why he is speaking up. just my thot oooooooooooooo. |
UnknownT:i think in my previous post, i said it hard for gov to run a profitable business, this is very simply and straight forward, corruption play a big role in this aspect. those gov issue license to in the oil and gas industry and power sector, are they not private investor as well, then why didnt they go ahead and start operation after the issuance of license to them. or you want to tell me, that they get the license on a platter of gold. |
UnknownT:My broda, no point in argument, any gov can issue license, good and fine by me, what about the enabling environment to allow them operate, i dont think you are verse with this country, If i may ask, do you know how many company have been given license to build and operate refinery in this country of our, since 1999. obj tenure involve as well again do you know how many company as well have been given license to build, generate, distribute and transmits power in this country of our, since 1999. obj tenure involve as well. think deeply, any democratic gov can issue license as you said, i agree, but what about the enabling environment for them to operate have you see any new refinery since 1999, any new power station since 1999. am not talking of geregu that was repainted and commision. very laughable this is our country, we all know how things work, don't let us be sentimental |
pro01:Bros try to know what going on both in and outside your country, if telecom industry is not count as achievement, then on what ground should GEJ count Ebola eradication as 1920 refurbish train as achievement nothing more to add. enjoy your day. |
UnknownT:My broda, are you a new born baby in this country, or you are just been deport back to the country, you and I knows that government hardly run a business successfully, so why are you now surprise that 0804 no more exist, not 0804 alone, where is nigeria airway and a whole lot of government company like that. the truth is the advance country we want to be like, their government dont run all this things, for example British Airway that will all know as UK national carrier is run by a private company, but regulated by the government, same with Lufthansa, Air france. let me digress a bit. as at now, this is exactly what we are facing with our oil sector, NNPC monopoly. it can still be name NNPC, but not run by FG. china largest oil exploration and production company is CNPC, (just like our NNPC) is run by private body, and as well they even operate outside the shore of china, they are present in africal, last yr i think they apply for license in our country as well, to start exploiting our crude just like shell, chevron and the like, Even BP, British petroleum operate outside the shore of UK. But because of corruption, it hard for our government to stop running NNPC. and one basic reason why the likes of shell, Total, Mobil etc refuse to build a refinery in this country, It quite hard for government to run a business. |
ILIDEFI:i laugh at your ignorant level, any dummy in power would have done, without providing the enabling environment. the day you stop taking side is the day your brain will start functioning well, i.e thinking straight on national issue since 1999 till now, did you know how many power station FG have sign agreement with and given license as well, with that i dont think we should have power issue anymore, yet we are worst of interm of power, All successive FG use this means to divert money to themselves and their aides, even this same obj we are talking abt did same, GEJ is presently do his own as well. Dangote build a power station within 18month. so what now happen to our FG with million dollars spent since 1999. |
