Health / How Ampalaya Can Help Reverse Diabetes by jcpremiere(m): 7:01am On Feb 18, 2019
Ampalaya(also known as Momordica charantia, bitter gourd, wild cucumber, and more) is a plant that gets its name from its taste. It becomes more and more bitter as it ripens.

It grows in a number of areas (including Asia, South America, the Caribbean, and East Africa) where people have used bitter melon for a variety of me dical conditions over time.

Bitter melon contains many nutrients that can be beneficial to your health. It’s linked to lowering blood sugar, which some studies suggest means it can aid in dia betes treatment.

Ampalaya is linked to lowering the body’s blood sugar. This is because the ampalaya has properties that act like insulin, which helps bring glucose into the cells for energy. The consumption of ampalaya can help cells utilize glucose and move it to the liver, muscles, and fat. The melon may also be able to help your body retain nutrients by blocking their conversion to glucose that ends up in your blood stream.

Nutritional benefits of Ampalaya

As a fruit that also has properties of a vegetable, ampalaya contains a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It has been recognized by many cultures as having medicinal value. Some of its nutritional benefits include:

vitamins C, A, E, B-1, B-2, B-3, and B-9
minerals like potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron
antioxidants like phenols, flavonoids, and others

You may find bitter melon in its natural vegetable form, as a supplement, and even as a tea. Bitter melon consumed occasionally as a fruit or vegetable may be a healthy addition to your diet. The ampalaya vegetable is not easy to come by in Nigeria, but we found a way of bringing it down in a packaged form.

Remember, we earlier talked about 4 other ingredients that can be used together with ampalaya to reduce high sugar levels and prevent the use of insulin. These ingredients are:

Wheat Grass
Lagundi
Malunggaya

When combined together, they help increase blood cells, reduce cholesterol, control dia betes and decrease blood sugar levels. After writing this article, a lot of our readers contacted us to know how to get these vegetables.

Business / The Exact Blueprint That Will Help You Make A Consistent 6-7 Figures In 2019 by jcpremiere(m): 8:03pm On Jan 15, 2019
Good morning dear NLs,

Happy new year and I hope the new year has been treating you well. Today, I want to teach you what you need to do to make 6-7 figures continuously in 2019. What inspired this post is a post on the front page of NL where I read about how a Pastor swindled people by operating a ponzi scheme. Also, while scrolling through Facebook, I see a lot of comments on those kinda posts that promise to give 50% ROI to people in 24 hours.

It's sad to know that people still fall for this. You see, making money is a process and you need to understand this if you want to build a solid business and make a lot of money in 2019. This blueprint is easy, but as easy as it sounds you will not get results if you don't put in the work! The concept is to " find people with certain problems and give them a solution to their problem".

For example, 4 days ago, I got a call from someone... I did not know him from Adam, he had seen my ads somewhere and he called because he needed solution for infection! I educated him on the product and told him what he needed to do. You see, there's a way you will position yourself and people will see you as an authority. He bought supplements from me and I made my cool profit.

Let me not bore you with stories, here's the blueprint:

1. Find problems that people will be willing to pay any amount to get the solution

2. Check and see what and how other marketers are selling

3. Get a genuine product that will solve that problem. You can import or source locally

4. Set up a sales system and test run TARGETED ads. Tweak till you get a winning campaign then scale up

5. Rinse and repeat

I'd be breaking down these points one after the other, make sure you follow this thread!

Peace
Properties / Re: BEDC Has Adjusted My Bill Thank You Nairaland by jcpremiere(m): 11:05am On Jan 15, 2019
okomogo:
About a year ago I read a post about a guy that complained to NERC about his outrageous bill and after consistent follow up he was even given a Prepaid meter and his bills wiped out completely.

Few days later I scanned all my estimated bills and forwarded it to the NERC but copied BEDC.

In two days I got a message to fromto contact the Asaba unit of the NERC, when I did , a young man called me and was asking for a proof that I have complained to BEDC before contacting them. I told him most of my complaints were verbal and I don't have any written proof. He rubbished me and told me to go get my facts right.

I didn't give up, I contacted Benin again, this time I got a better response. NERC gave BEDC a ten days ultimatum to resolve my issue. Two days later I got a call that someone from BEDC is coming to my apparent to do a load check. I agreed and in three days the man arrived and did his check. My load calculation were not done right there but I was just made to sign the no of electric consuming properties found in my house.

Weeks passed, months and I didn't hear anything from BEDC. I resumed my email service, this time straight to Abuja and I didn't even get a response. I was patient and I continued sending Mail as reminder.

After almost one year I just got my bill wiped off. Bill arrears of over 98k wiped off, infact we have a negative bill as I'm talking to you.

Thank you nairaland for the information.

power of consistency!

Terrorism:
Hi everyone, I have been a Nairalander for over 9 Years now and I have gained immensely from this forum, thank you so much for making nairaland fun.

I am a man in my early 20's, I am into cinematography and video editing, I all also a staff of a global Christian missionary University with over a thousand locations around the world, God has been good to me this year, even though there are times of lows, but God redeemed me,now here is my the challenge I am facing right now.

I am a diploma holder in mass communication,I offer my cinematography services to a church as a part time staff in Lagos, the job requires me to be present during the 2 church service times in a week and 1 extra day for not more than 2 hours, translating to me being present 3 times in a week, the pay, which is 40k,to me, is averagely okay for the job as #500 takes me to the church and back, from where I live, additionally,I also freelance and work for various other media houses, I have been offered employment by some but I am not into this everyday Job thing where I will be insulted, so I prefer to be my own boss,I stay alone on the Island in a relatively good area, I also work with a big missionary organization with over 1000 locations, which affords me to staff in any of their locations of my choice around the world, last year,I felt it in my spirit to go to the German location of the organization and work there,by the way,the work is completely voluntary,no pay is offered, you just have to give 5 hours of your time to the work and can take as much day off as you want, I applied and did every process required of me and I have been sent an invite, fastfoward to late 2018,I began to feel like staying back in Nigeria and starting up a business of my own,I am thinking about poultry business for now, then I met this cacausian lady I really do love, and she does love me too,we see a future together and most tines, share jokes about how we will live after marriage, she was offered an admission in another state after waiting for years for it but she is reluctant to take it as it will take her far away from me even tho I have promised to visit her often, she is bent on staying back in Lagos.

Now,meeting this lady has also influenced the urge to stay back and start up something in Nigeria, but I also really feel like the grass will be greener over there as I have been told by friends over there, that IT and any technical experience pays well there as there are opportunities.

Please help me,should I stay back or should I leave?

I am scheduled to leave in June 2019,please ignore any typo or errors.

My brother, from what you wrote i perceive that the caucasian lady is the reason why you are in between. You need to seriously weigh your options, relocating abroad will give you an advantage YES! On the other side, putting a structure to your business here in Nigeria can also help you make more money.... So think through these first without " LADY CAUCASIAN", I know love is sweet but...
