OH God of creation direct our noble cause
How can God do that when the leaders
Have placed themselves as gods before the men and women they lead
Help our nation to grow from the way we are, to a nation of respect and peace
How can that be? when one section has taking power with lies and propaganda
Just look at our roads and streets
Humans can not walk freely again because the cows have taken over the walkway

Help our leaders the truth to know[/i]
Kia!! I laugh in my own teeth, when I know my lips can not speak what my pains is
If I talk, the leaders will send their dogs to me
Main while the dogs are still part of us, living in the same block of face me I face you.
With lot of children to feed and cloth,
yet no money to meet up the issues of home front
But they will come with guns and whips to beat me and slap me like a child who stole from the village market.
Yet they will go home and sleep with one eye open because of the fear of the unknown gun man walking up and down in our busy street.

Yes!! before I forget
“ help the youths the truth to know”[i]
What truth if I may ask?
Youths who want to be leaders but never have the lesson to lead
Youths who are the problem of the country because they do the dirty work for the leaders
Who flog and kill their family members all because of the truth they hold back.
Youths who want to walk on the street of fast lanes forgetting the street is the fast way to their graves
Wait! Wait!! before I drop this pen of mine, sorry the pain I bear
I was told back in primary school that I will be leader of tomorrow
Am above 40 now, yet the tomorrow has never come
We are celebrating 61 years of a country that has nothing to offer the citizens
A country where the leaders only fight on TV and drink at the back stage laughing at us from the door post
I may be wrong if I never write about the pains of the poor children being kidnapped by some people who are not even Nigerians
I hail thee the beloved country of my Fathers
Fathers who gave their blood and sweat to make us a country free from the white evils
Yet, today their children blood was taken again in the same street that was a path way for democracy
Who do us this thing?
The joy to even eat Eba and egusi soup no dey again
Garri wey be poor man food, the leaders don hide for themself
Rice na big delicacy for the poor man
The poor man go just sitdown dey look from afar how they eat the rice with sweet stew and big chicken laps.

Kia! my country who do you like this
God go fight for us, yet pastors dey run street on the same poor people way dey pray for better days
Pastors come get mouth pass the gods of the land
Pastors children no fit relate with the poor people children
Yet the poor dey full for church everyday calling on God who is just looking at them and laughing out loud like flash of light.


Our mumu never do us
Mumu to look for the right change and stand up for the right of all humans in our country
Which kind juju them do to us
That speaking the truth is evil, lying has become the new tool to pass information
Nigerians, I greet you from my end in the village of oil and rivers without fish in it.
Let me drop my pen before my face show for TV as one of them.
