LauraClasikVibe:
BOOM! Part 1 of Crypto Vocab,

Cryptocurrency Lingo

1.HODL.
A misspelling of ‘hold’ that stuck around to mean ‘keep’. A crypto trader who buys a coin and does not see himself selling in the foreseeable future is called a hodler of the coin.

2.FOMO.
Short form for ‘fear of missing out’. The feeling when you see a huge green Love Machine on a chart and you don’t own that coin, so you sell other shit to buy into it freaking out. As crypto trading is still very much driven by emotions rather than valuation, FOMO is a huge factor to consider when swing trading in crypto.

3.FUD.
Short form for ‘fear, uncertainty and doubt’. Usually used in the form of “Bleep spreading FUD again.”

4.ATH.
Short form for “All-Time High”. Therefore it means the highest historical price of a specific coin.

5.Whale.
A huge player who has a substantial amount of capital. Whales are often the market movers for small alt-coins too due to their huge capital.

Good morning,
Use the link to register we both get 20% coin
https://www.binance.com/en/register?ref=H1R24WDO

Science/Technology / Re: Emigrating To America? Consider Star Base, South Texas (Jobs) by Jedalord: 7:07am On Apr 05, 2021
Draught:
...

The Rio Valley area includes Brownsville, South Padre, Refugio, El paso, Corpus Christi and so on..

These places are predominantly Mexican / Mexican Americans ..which isnt surprising considering its very close to the Mexican border (+ Southern Texas was Originally a Mexican land)..

The cities in mention are like akin to say Ijebu-Ode or Agbor in Nigeria..

Despite that, the rate of development has been increasing in the past decade in the Valley and with this StarBase setup, the population heterogeneity will increase..

If you're interested in moving there just prepare your mind you wont see a lot of black people but still thats not enough reason to turn down a good opportunity to develop yourself..

Just my 2 cent smiley

Thanks brother

Romance / Re: Men Please Stop Deceiving Yourselves, You Will Choose Beauty Over Brain by Jedalord: 6:46am On Apr 03, 2021
Zzor:
Men are very good at saying a particular thing but act the exact opposite, you will see men all over social media saying they will go for brains over beauty but in reality you will see these same men ignoring the brain and going extra length to attract a beautiful lady and eventually marry them.

I have a friend (a first class product) who is bitterly complaining of not attracting men and that if she had options she will choose beauty first and a moderate brain.

Men why do you guys act this way but in reality you do the opposite?
I have forgotten the scripture which says about beauty being vain and a woman who fears God being praised...
Now if you want me to put it in street terms,if you depend on beauty you'd become a Bleep-material,and you have better qualities that outlasts beauty, you're a wife-material.
Men desire a balance of the two for sweet spot.

R.kiyosaki would have been one of the poorest man in the world, he used knowledge and wisdom to shut the gate of poverty.
He is very rich, knowledgeable and intelligent.
To me, he is ahead of all the billionaires that cannot transfer the secret of wealth to the poor income earners and the middle class.
I key into his philosophy.
If I have to give a testimony, I read many of his books and learnt from his teaching to exit the middle class.
I love this sir, we shall get there someday.

There's a popular saying that some pay to be on Forbes while some pay not to be on Forbes. Don't underestimate these guys. And the guy that said he stopped reading his book because he filed for bankruptcy, I don't have anything to say but that nobody is above challenges. It is not easy to stay up there and raise people up to greatness.
Be humble and learn.

Music/Radio / Re: Spotify’s African Heat Campaign Celebrates African Dance Music Culture by Jedalord: 5:01pm On Mar 14, 2021
BrandsHarmony:
....Features Focalistic, Fuse ODG, Olamide, Other African stars

As a way of celebrating the power of African voices across the continent and beyond, Spotify is shining a spotlight on one of its flagships, curated playlists African Heat, through an interactive campaign that brings the spirit of Africa alive around the world.

The campaign journeys through a series of partnerships, activations, a dance challenge video (#africanheatchallenge), and more creative content opportunities that will play out through on-and-off-platform initiatives on local, regional, and international levels. Highlighting the diversity of African talent, the playlist is an explosion of Afro-centric sounds, carving out a space for African creators to showcase their music to a global audience.

Centred on the key role that the Afro-dance community has played in spreading African pop music across the globe, the campaign includes the likes of Focalistic, Fuse ODG, Olamide, as well as some of the leading female faces of dance music in Africa – Moonchild Sanelly, Sho Madjozi, Niniola, and Amapiano’s Lady Du.

“Dance culture has helped my music spread outside of the continent. Music and dance go hand in hand,” said Olamide.

By including emerging and established artists alongside one another – Amapiano’s newer artists Focalistic and Lady Du together with Azonto dance genre pioneer Fuse ODG and Shaku Shaku street dance driver, Olamide – Spotify is showcasing its dedication to and investment in all artists.

Taking African Heat to The Streets with the #africanheatchallenge

The beautifully shot clip was directed by the talented, award-winning, Johannesburg-based Zandi Tisani, who uses her experience to draw attention to her work in edgy and bold ways. Set to Focalistic’s hit “Ke Star,” the clip encourages fans to immerse themselves in the sounds of the playlist, delving into the language of dance to express the connection between African communities worldwide that share a love of dance music. Watch the clip HERE.

The video features dancers from major cities in Africa and across the globe, including local sensation Kamo Mpela, Nigeria’s Boluwatife, Ghana’s DWP Academy and more as they move through the streets of their cities doing the #africanheatchallenge.

This is not the first collab between Spotify and Focalistic who, as one of Spotify’s RADAR AFRICA artists, has already benefited from the support that the program promises to artists across all stages of their career development. The African Heat campaign is another example of how Spotify continues to showcase and support African talent.

“My music is an honest expression of who I am and where I come from, Pitori! I am the voice of the hood! I am the voice of the YOUTH! I want to take my voice to the world and Spotify is helping me do that. With my recent DaVido collab on the ‘Ke Star (Remix)’ promoting African Heat to a wider audience gives me and other African artists more opportunities to reach millions of Spotify listeners,” said Focalistic. “Music is a universal language and I want the world to understand our lingo, our movement, and our sound! I’m excited to see where we can go! To the top!! Ase Trap tse ke PINA tsa ko Kasi!”

On the playlist today, fans can find Spotify Clips, featuring soundbites and self-shot videos from the artists mentioned, speaking to the impact and influence of African Dance culture. These artists will also appear on large-scale Spotify billboards to promote African Heat in New York City and Toronto.

Commenting on the campaign, Phiona Okumu, Spotify Head of Music, Sub-Saharan Africa said: “The rich diversity of musical talent in Africa inspires and engages fans around the world. Spotify continues to use the power of its platform to amplify African voices across a global stage, building an ongoing narrative that supports and puts African creators at the forefront.”

Spotify recently expanded its footprint in Africa by launching into new markets including Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda, giving African creators the opportunity to connect with a global audience of fans. With its unrivalled mix of features that have made it the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service, including more than 70 million international and local songs and over 4 billion playlists, Spotify is excited to introduce its African audience to a best in class product and a localised experience MADE FOR AFRICA!
