Like/dislike is a very simplistic method of rating. This is because there is a continuum between like and dislike.

5/10 is a middle score. Right at the middle of like and dislike. If I rAte a movie 5/10 which is a poor score for a film, I would still click like over dislike.

There is a continuum between like and dislike. If I rate a movie 5 out of 10. It's not a good movie that I would recommend but between 2 points of like or dislike, I will pick like.

There are few TV shows I can say I binged and this is one of them. A deep, compelling and well-paced story that captivates your attention and refuses to let go till the end. A twist on the superhero genre, something different from the concepts were used to.
The boys pictures a scenario where super-powered people aren't the virtuous, heroic people we've become used to and instead creates a picture of just your average person with powers and all the quirkiness, flaws, perversions, ambitions & moral weaknesses that humans possess. As well as the consequences of their actions on the people around them.
Just about every character is engaging and can be related to (well, except Black Noir. That guy is fucking mysterious). I can't think of any of the actors that didn't do justice to their characters, keeping you engaged whenever their scenes come up. It's hard to pick a favorite in this show.
Can't wait to see what direction(s) the story takes next season.

IMO John Wick 1 & 2 are better than John 3 even though it made more in the box office. Not that it was a better movie, it just got up there because of human nature (alot were waiting with anticipation).
The same thing with Avengers Endgame, I thought Infinity Wars was a better movie than Endgame although Endgame blew the box office (cos millions were waiting with anticipation).

But Hellboy 2019 has more depth than the previous two (IMO).
