sadly enough, I was more interested in the plot than the jokes.
The plot was straightforward. The jokes were icings on the cake.

Which 2019 movie are you looking forward to?

My Top Ten Most Anticipated Movies Of 2019...Ranked.

10. Avengers Endgame.

9. Alita Battle Angel.

8. John Wick 3.

7. Shazam.

6. Godzilla King of Monsters.

5. Us.

4. Toy Story 4.

3. Glass.

2. IT. Chapter 2.

1. Star Wars IX.
We must be very different people.

Your top 4 (except for number 3. Glass) are not movies that I am looking forward to. They would not even make my top 20 list.

1. Star Wars. I am suffering from star wars fatigue. This is why han solo movie failed. Too much is never good. I am a star wars fan but i'm getting tired......

2. IT.....sequel of a remake? hmmmm

4. The last time I watched toy story, I was a teenager. Never went past part 2. Even watching the clips later in life5., the humor is not as sharp as other animations for me.

Viking007:
Yeah agreed, it was brilliant, but 8/10? That's for movies like Split, Whiplash, etc.
Split is great. Have not seen whiplash.

I rate time travel or multiple universe movies very highly if they are done well. Because such movies require a lot of internal logic to work. I like intelligent films.

Raph Breaks The Internet..5/10
Genre :Animation

First off, i totally loved the first movie, Disney just had to mess up this one all in the name of a sequel. Unlike the first movie, this one had no story & little substance, it was basically filled with advertisements & cross promotion content. Though the voice acting & moral were quite ok, but none of them could salvage the day.
Lol...it seems you did not understand the jokes. There were numerous internet and videogame jokes/memes in that movie.

I loved the movie. I think the first one was only slightly better.

Wolf of Wall Street
9/10

Leonardo really knows his onions.
All these awards are biased.

Di Caprio should have won an oscar long time ago. To me, Revenant is not even in his top 5 films

Please do so that I can point out the numerous flaws in A Quiet Place too.
Bird cage abi bird box

First off, there can be no happy ending. What is to stop the crazies from busting the blind school/orphanage at the end?

Secondly, there is no way in hell you can drive a car in a littered road with only sensors when everyone is blind. The sensors would be overused and useless because it would sense everything around it. The road was littered. With cars, bodies and trash.

Also, the black guy felt like a rapist. Watch the film again and see how he was always asking Sandra bullock jamb questions and staying very close to her (before she gave him green light by allowing him to touch her belly). Pervert. What is sweeting the guy in touch a pregnant woman's belly. A woman he did not impregnate.

Sandra bullock did not lose her pregnancy in the car accident with her sister.

Rowing a boat down a stream or river is difficult with both eyes. Now, I'm to believe it was done while being blindfolded? Lol...and also, hearing is impaired once one enters water.

Then there is the ridiculous monsters that remained mysterious throughout the film. WHICH OTHER MONSTER FILM HAVE YOU SEEN THAT NOTHING ABOUT THE MONSTER WAS REVEALED? WE DIDNT SEE THE MONSTERS. THE ONLY THING WE KNOW IS THAT YOU COMMIT SUICIDE IF YOU SEE THEM AND CRAZY PEOPLE ARE ITS MINIONS.

The worst part of the movie is that it is a copied concept. Copied from the quiet place and a shimalayan movie that I cannot remember.
Book!

Bird box

Nice movie, it was engaging.
I was hooked till the end.

Kept thinking some actions can't be realistic in the movie, but human can do anything thing to survive if there is no other way out, (like drinking piss if there is not water or eating a fellow human being if there is no food.)

alextaiwo don't take any credit for it, cos i would have watched it anyways

Bird box.... 6.5/10......Mtcheeeeeeeew...... i don't even know what was killing people.... when you see it you die.....
The movie name should have been "The blind place".....so that it correlates with the quiet place....

A quiet place... wen you talk loudly ...your hunted and you die....that movie nearly turn me to dumb person... I had to go and download subtitle. ...I started talking with low voice for house....

so I think the next movie will be the Deaf place or The scent place..... so that when you listen to something or when you smell something then your dead
cc alexistaiwo, troubleseller, mekaprime, ishilove, beorn

Bird Box was a total letdown, especially if one watched "A Quiet Place" first.

There was nothing new in Bird Box. Monsters killed characters if they looked (by forcing them to commit suicide). In a quiet place, monsters killed characters if they made noise.

And someone foolishly claimed that there was no similarity between bird box and a quiet place.

Also, it is very impossible to navigate roads and rivers blindly. Enough said.

You are the one who is not getting me.
I am neither spiritual or religious.

Personally, I don't believe in all the stories written in the Bible.
They are unrealistic to me and I definitely don't believe that a Jew died for my sins in far away middle east.

But one thing I noticed is that following the purported teachings of Jesus Christ has a way of helping one make sound moral decisions.

So I always try to abide by his teachings.
Hope you get my point now?
Too many unbelievers here. grin

Kevin Hart, blah.
I know many British born Nigerian babes who are into Nollywood. Their moms and aunties raised them on it and they had mostly African friends in South London.

Lots of Nigerians with UK passport do not even watch British shows. The only thing they manage is EastEnders and Xfactor.

Rowan Atkinson is the shitt. Better recognise. Don't trash the guy in public, or else..... grin
