I think you should just quit the relationship with the lady and let go, even if the lady insist don't even give her a smiling face on that, because you need to figure out something within human that they can change, if you insist then what 'll happen when by tomorrow she said it's over and may be you've break up with you male (best) friend? It's more honorable in this case to loose the lady than your best friend (to me), your friend can make an amend later, but in the case where your friend is having an affairs with the lady and at the time you're having too, does it make a reasonable sense? Or haven't you thought of it that something crucial or harmful can befell either of you friends (beliefs)? I advice you stay clear with her even if she insist don't pay attention to her any more..
