For now, you don’t have so much tying you to Nigeria such as a wife or a job and need another individual’s finances to cover for your ‘holiday’ .... definitely this is a red flag. I don’t want to lie to you. Even the nysc stipends of 33k sef can’t vouch for your financial ties .. they need to be sure you are not a potential immigrant

Oh I see.
I used to think that the fact that I'm being invited would hold water. Guess I was totally wrong.
Wow! I didn't make a first class but a 2:1. Can I still use this reason? Or is there something else that they could accept from me? cheesy

Congratulations on your scholarship.
Sorry but i’ll be as honest as possible with you. No hard feelings.
If this is the plan then I don’t think you need to come here and be looking for who to convince you or to counter what u plan on doing. You have a plan, ask for tourism plan on this thread and not the other questions that could complicate our answers. No country will give you visa, if they know you are going to another country's embassy. Follow through to your tourism plans, and get into any country u choose. .. uk, egypt or turkey... It’s solely your prerogative to do the convincing and which embassy u want to follow thru.
Also there’s an estonian page on Nairaland, follow through on there with how others have moved and do same.
If u want to get help on getting uk visa, I mean if u choose uk, then pls fee free to ask questions on the subject .
What’s your occupation? Any husband or wife or children? Any property or assets? Any financial bonds or fixed deposits? Any aged parents?

Thank you so much for your reply. I completely understand you. I am also in the Estonian forum. I want to use the UK and have my uncle over there that's a citizen to invite and sponsor me. That is why I choose UK. I will go under the premise that I want to visit him for a short while and not that I want to apply at another country foreign mission in UK. So I want advice on how to get the UK Standard Visitor Visa. L

As per your questions above;
1. I am single; no family or dependent.
2. Per my occupation, I am an engineering graduate, currently doing my NYSC.
3. I do not have assets.
4. I have aged parents, in Nigeria (just my mom)
5. I do not have so much financial capacity, personally, for obvious reasons. But my uncle shall sponsor me while inviting me.

Thank you so much.
Looking forward to your response.

Usually you should apply for longstay visa. That is the minimum document you need on order to get into Estonia. It's better to apply for both longstay visa and trp but at least get a long stay visa there.

Hmm.

So I can easily get the longstay visa when I get to UK, right?
Do you know none that have thread this path?
And first I'd need to get a UK Standard Visitor Visa. That's one concern. My ability to get that. Do you think I can get that easily?

No valid application for what you seek, you can’t travel to the UK for the purpose of apply to another country on a visiting visa, it’s against UK immigration rules and laws

I think it's same everywhere. But I can always give another reason, like tourism and visitation of my family over there that invited me. Right?

And when I get there, I can write to the Estonian embassy and have my interview and hopefully get the visa. Right?

Read your admission letter again. I believe It says you can get a visa in any Estonian embassy. UK is included. If that route is easier for you, use it. Any Estonian embassy around the world will attend to you. Best of luck.

Thanks you for your reply.
But I want to also know if anyone have used UK before. Because I don't know if they offer the TRP in their embassy in UK, I couldn't find on the website, I found one see Long stay Visa (D-visa). I also wanted to know why people specifically go for turkey, Israel, Egypt.

Thanks.

Good day Gurus.

I have been recently given admission to study at Estonia university for masters degree (on Scholarship). Due to the fact that there is no Estonian embassy in Nigeria, I am seeking to obtain the Estonian Visa from the Estonian embassy in the UK (although I'm considering other places such as Egypt, Israel and Turkey)

So at it stands, I have my uncle in the UK that have lived there for about 20 years with his wife amd kids (all UK citizens) and works as a medical doctor. I want to see if I can get an invitation from him so that I can apply for a short tourist visa to come to UK just for the reason of obtaining the Estonian student visa from the embassy there (although not stating rhis in ky application for obvious reasons).

What i want to know is,
1. Is this possible?
2. How much will it cost?
3. How long does it take to obtain the visa if he invites me?
4. How do I go about it?
5. Any other consideration and advice?

I will be glad if you guys can assist me.
Thanks so kindly.

P.S: I've never travelled abroad

Good day everyone.

I got admitted to study at TalTech.
Now I'm trying to struggle with the matter of Visa.
I learnt that they have an Estonian embassy in London. I was wondering if I can get my Visa there. I have lots of family with strong ties in the UK and I was thinking I can have them invite me so I'd stay with them for the while that I plan to obtain the Visa to save cost.
I will love to know I it's possible to obtain this visa from the UK and if anyone have done it before.

Also, I will love to consider other path to obtain the Visa and TRP such as Egypt, Turkey, Israel. At this time, which one would you recommend with regards to optimization of cost and reliability?
This will be my first time to leave Nigeria.

Thank you so very kindly in anticipation for your reply guys.

PS; I will be glad to know how much for the travel and all that to obtain the Visa and get to Estonia (Excluding Tuition fees).

I got the result the same day

When asked a question, just talk about anything in this world that you can talk about. You don't have to answer the question. Just speak about anything, freely. As long as you are speaking your best English, you will score high. The computer doesn't know what you are talking about. It's more concerned about how good you sound. You pronunciation and all that. That's how it works. I think

I registered for TOEFL in a centre in Lagos and it's hell getting a test date from them for weeks. Initially, I wanted March 7, 2020 but, I was told there is difficulty in lurking down the date. Eventhough, it's available. I went for the option of 14th March, 2020 in Lagos. Still, it's not forthcoming. I want to know if this is a normal experience with toefl or there's a game being played?
Thanks

Lots of persons register for TOEFL test. A lotttt.
So it is usually advised to register very early to get your desired test date. Maybe a month earlier. I experienced the same last year.
However, if you want a good reply, you can try PTE if it's accepted. In 3 days you can write and get your score. It's fully computerized and you can use a hack for the speaking section to boost your score.

Hello. I need assistance about Visa classes in Australia.

I am applying for study to Australia University for Master's by Research.

The university asks me if I intend to work temporarily in Australia once I complete my degree and, if so, which visa subclass I intend to apply for to work in Australia.

I do intend to work in Australia after my study. But I do not know what Visa class to choose.
Also I am concerned if the university will be bothered if I declare that I want to work permanently and not temporarily, and I am worried if it will affect my application.

NB:

1. My major interest I to carry out a PhD after my Masters study so I don't know if it will affect my choice of Visa.

2. I will love to get a permanent residency (PR).

Thanks in advance!

I think you need to talk with your supervisor on your plans to obtain the RTP but did you check the rtp deadline for rmit??

Hi.

Thank you for your reply!

1. The deadline for RMIT RTP is 30h of September. The application system says that outcomes for admission is usually 1 to 4 weeks after application and Scholarship would be announced in December.

2. I have previously spoken to my Supervisor over Skype about my funding for the program some weeks ago before this SSVF SOP was requested. I made it clear that I am depended on the outcome of the RTP Scholarships. However, he did not explicitly stated that he would offer me the scholarship. But he said the scholarship is dependent on the scholarship board and he wished me success in the application.

So I should email him this recent development and my predicament? The desired response from him would be that he should state that he will offer me the scholarship. Right?

Good day Guys.

I am applying to RMIT for Master's in research.
My potential supervisor have accepted to supervise me already as my undergraduate thesis was exactly what he is working on and he was excited to have me. My EOI has been successful. I have also forwarded my full application.

1. Now the university is asking me to submit a Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF) SOP. In this document, it asks me to confirm that I have enough money to fund my studies in Australia.
The issues is that I do not have the money to fund my studies. I was hoping to obtain the Research Training Program scholarship and others to fund my studies and Living expenses. And also work while I study.

I don't know if I should state this in my SSVF SOP so they know the truth. Also I can not lie because I don't have a proof of my finances that will show that I can Carter for myself.

2. I am also asked why I want to study there and not my country. Also, importantly, they asked me what I intend to do after my study, if I want to work there or go back to my country and how much salary I'd desire. I do not know if stating that I want to stay in Australia and work will be a red flag and I don't even have idea of how much I wish to earn or what Visa class I will need to work after my study.

Please what do you guys advise that I do with respect to both questions?

Thanks in advance.

Disgraceful piece of shit people called Nigerians...see their Ghana must go.
I think these countries should handle the case of illegal immigrants like China did. Or why them nor just lack them put for the same ovens that Hitler put the Jews in the Holocaust. That will be more pleasing.

I think it's basically a compulsory millitary training program just in case there is a war, you can easily be enlisted in the army. That's why the physical training aspect is taken seriously. It's done in many areas of the world in different forms. Some countries even 2 years.
It's like the Peace Corps programs.
