the Nigerian system sadly doesnt give room for nemesis to be done on offenders.

if ure in doubt, how many culprits have been brought to book in recent past? i wuldnt want to mention names in order to avoid arguments but it seems pple can get away with anything in Nigeria, even murder angry

if OBJ didnt correct adedibu's excesses, then im afraid it will take a lot of courage from Yar adua to do likewise cos they say we must always let sleeping dogs lie abi?
Politics / Re: Baba Iyabo Must Let Go Of Politics by jesusfreak(f): 6:40pm On Jul 05, 2007
Ironically, the Baba doesnt even play politics right, he's neither diplomatic nor cultured.

i think we shloud just leave him to try his best now that he's out of Aso Rock, his case will just be like a flash in d pan, soon to be forgotten.

besides who will blame him? i'll bet he still has de-javu feelings of returning to power wink

aso rock musta been sweet o! grin
Politics / Re: 3 Feared Killed As Hoodlums Attack Ladoja’s House by jesusfreak(f): 6:36pm On Jul 05, 2007

Politics / Re: Fani Kayode Is A Thief, a blatant money laundering idiot by jesusfreak(f): 6:06pm On Jul 05, 2007
what we must all bear in mind is that Nigerians love dirty news because u see, we're mostly hypocrites and we relish when someone is accused of a crime we think we wouldnt commit and God knows many people will do worse if in power

its no use arguing because its each man's prerogative to choose what to beleive and what to discard as fallacy.

have u ever wondered why investigative journalism is less popular than soft sell?

i stand for the truth sha!

Politics / Re: What Advice Have You For President Yar'adua? by jesusfreak(f): 9:54am On Jul 05, 2007
yar adua might be quiet and unassuming but i suspect he's got inner strength that will surprise a lot of his detractors. he's got  a strong resolve to make Nigeria better and this is just stating the obviuos.

Nigerians should PRAY for him and for his Health instead of confessing evil upon d guy, we all know he's ill but isnt it just evil to stress dat fact instead of praying for good health for him cos in the long run, his health matters to this nation.

Politics / Re: Yar'adua Declares His Assets by jesusfreak(f): 8:48am On Jun 29, 2007
This is the first time anyleader in Nigeria would be declaring his assets publicly. the Bill was passed during OBJ administration and he refused to sign it. why didnt we all complain then.

i believe this will put pressure on other leaders and believe me, many Nigerians will be SURPRISED when they find out what these croks are worth.

Yar'adua's assets are pretty modest (judging from his background in business).

The only time we would be able to judge him properly is halfway into his tenure (if he declares assets again) He should be able to give substantial records as regards his assets by then and if nothing fishy is found., then we hail him.

however,  right now, our President has proved that leadership is by example! this singular act gives me HOPE ,,,so much HOPE!
Poems For Review / Re: A Special World by jesusfreak(f): 6:01pm On Jun 27, 2007
If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine,
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.
Poems For Review / A Special World by jesusfreak(f): 5:58pm On Jun 27, 2007
A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
Poems For Review / Once Upon A Time by jesusfreak(f): 5:39pm On Jun 27, 2007
Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
we lived in happiness
Holding hands under the moonlight
We danced
We touched
We kissed.
Once upon a moment
a long time ago
The wind ruffled our hair
sand tickled our feet
And we danced
Oh, how we danced
Our movements matched
Our bodies fit
Our footprints light on the sand
As though we were hovering above the ground.
Once upon a night
The stars sparkled brightly
but not one star matched your eyes
Your eyes of the bright, bright blue
Blue as the ocean, the sea
Blue as the moon could possibly be.
Once upon a time
Once upon a moment
Once upon a night.
We stared upon eachother
Love vibes sending out sweet messages through our eyes.
This was long ago
When the world was beautiful
When the ocean was always blue
When our footprints still lingered in the sand.
Now there are other footprints
But ours are gone
Gone with my love for you that I had
Once upon a time
Once upon a moment
Once upon a night
