shocked story is so sad

i can imagine what u must be going tru.

d suggestions are quite okay but u must thread carefully, are u sure u want ur dad to find out about ds?
and even after all the evidences, i still think u shld confront her with the facts. let her knwo that it wwill affect her marriage and in turn affect ur own life as her children cos if she gets separated from ur dad, it wont be too good for u and ur sis.

if u do ds, observe her again(make sure ure thorough cos she might be sleeky this time around, making it difficult to catch her again) dont rish into telling ur dad firts, ds shld be d last option.

good luck, remember to apply wisdom cos whatever happens will directly have an effect on ur life too wink

Xiomarra:

It is only fair for a sick country to have a sick president.

So they can die together. kiss

i hope ure not nigerian cos if u are, u shld be ashamed of ur self! angry
the major problem this country has is nt its leaders (sick, corupt, greedy or not) its the followers, its nigerians themselves! how do u expect sthg good to come out of this country when pple are saying things as negative as this and even someone is appluading him/her, poetic my foot! angry

Nigeria is a beu\autiful country, we only need to change our approach to things, pray for better leadership and we'll be greater than we are now! i don not believe in confessing negative things about this country and i get angry wt pple like u who think its d only way out,

so what yar adua is sick! instead of figuring out ways to solve the problem, ure busy saying the country is sick too and they will both die! any nigerian who agrees with this statement should be ashamed of himself.

Politics / Re: Can Obama Really Win? by jesusfreak(f): 10:13am On Jun 04, 2008
his recent nomination as the democratic candidate will not only convince many americans that he stands a better chance againts John Mc'cain, it will win him the support of many Hillary fans and i wont be suprised if he gets the support of major republicans too. however, he has a task at hand. we congratulate him for winning but he has to face the task of gaining more momentum to face Mccain. we wish him luck all d way!
Politics / Re: Clinton For Vp? by jesusfreak(f): 10:03am On Jun 04, 2008
@ question.----------hell -to -the -NO grin

i admire Hillary and i think she's a strong woman who has inspired many american women to believe that they can reach the highest post in goverenment (borrowed from Mc'cain's speech of course grin)

but her denial of the truth is sthg i dotn appreciate, Obama even promised to meet with her in place and time of her choice wen he wins, and indeed he has won! so we await the meeting. However, i dont think Obama will offer her the VP post, as a matter of fact, he will not even mention the possibility to her.

She's a strong woman and has stood the test of time however, her strenght is being tested and if she doesnt swallow her pride and congratulate Obama as the Democratic Nominee, she will be counted a failure in all aspects.

that's Hillary still in the mood of denial, WAKE UP AND SMELL D COFFEE BABES! WE SAID WE COULD, AND WE DID IT! POWER TO THE BLACK NATION!!!!!!!!!!AHUWAAAAAAAAAAA grin grin grin grin grin
Politics / Re: 60 Abandoned Babies Found In Lagos In 1 Year by jesusfreak(f): 1:20pm On May 07, 2008
young girls need to be educated properly and given options. the issue of abandoning babies (no matter d number) shouldnt even be an option.

pregnant teenage girls should be able to give up their children for adoption even b4 d birth (if they wont be able to take care of them)

the waste bin and canal options arent just suitable for! and where information is lacking, we might even be dealing with worse cases.

sometiimes i hate complex poetry

but i love it when ppple play on words too, does that count?

i wrote ds piece recently and i think its deep though not my everyday style

Lying hearts

So it is true
That when men stoop
Their heads can touch their scrotums

What wisdom exists
In the roundness of a fat fool’s belly
Cannot compare with that of a child
His belly is big and round, yes
Like a fura da nunu pot
Yes instead of milk
There are green algae
Decomposing slowly like a chameleon’s carcass
The same big bellies unite both beings

So it is true
That when a man looks beyond his nose
He sees his forehead

Even clowns dance in a king’s courtyard
Only when he wants to forget the enemies at his gates
So who fools who?
The jester who dances for the king’s money
Or the king who laughs in the face of war

So it is true
That when women go to war
Their breast milk turns sour

Women who dance like soldiers
And chant the songs of freedom
Only do so for their children
The ones who know them not
The ones who call other women “mother”
When they come home
With the spoils of war
So u hail their victory
Or hiss in shame?
What do we know?

fatherE:

Welcome to the federal republic of northern nigeria where the people of other tribes are the cattles. grin

Yar dua and his cohorts are full of shit and no vision.

We have a country that is so blessed but we lack why we have resorted not to fight for our right but prefare to
beg for handouts from people we have put in power.

We nigerians are stupid and daft, we are like cattles face one direction no brain much talk no action.

We all know what to do but we are afraid and scared of doing it.

If the truth must be said we are all ignorant of our right in our own country.

There is no solution to our problem because we believe heaven will come down to save us from our daftness.

Nigerians are so engrossed in looking for wealth that they have forgotten the fundamentals of life.

With all the money you will still die and leave it here for someone else to take r are you going to take it with you.

Our major problem is greed and distrust which has been used to manipulate we nigerians for a long time.

We think obasanjo was bad well think again yar dull will sink nigeria.

A situation where you have dullards and dafties as head of ministries what do you expect.

We are a nation without a future.

Everyman should stand for his right.

For there to be light you must pass through darkness this darkness is what nigerians are afraid of.

You must overcome your greatest fear to succeed. But then nigerians are weaklings looking for the easy route out.

Comrades we are the future.

and which group is the we and comrades that ure referring to?
is it the same dumb herd of cattle?
or the pple withougt a future?

u only contradict urself. y dont u do everyone a favour by shutting up? Nigeria CANNOT progress with pple like u who only clamour for chaos. what exactly is ur point? angry

Politics / Re: Where Is Obama's Wife? by jesusfreak(f): 6:56pm On Mar 04, 2008
HERE'S MICHELLE OBAMA

In May 2007, three months after Barack’s declaration of his candidacy, she reduced her professional responsibilities by 80% to support her husband’s presidential campaign.[4] Early in the campaign, she had limited involvement in which she traveled to political events only two days a week and stayed away from home nights only if their daughters could come along. In early February 2008, she attended thirty-three events in eight days.Obama has made at least two campaign appearances with Oprah Winfrey.

Michelle Obama speaking at a campaign event in Plymouth, New Hampshire, January 6, 2008In 2007, Obama gave political stump speeches for her husband's presidential campaign at various locations in the United States. Jennifer Hunter of the Chicago Sun-Times wrote about one speech of hers in Iowa, "Michelle was a firebrand, expressing a determined passion for her husband's campaign, talking straight from the heart with eloquence and intelligence."She employs an all-female staff of aides for her political role. He says that she negotiated an agreement in which her husband gave up smoking in exchange for her support as a Presidential aspirant. This is her first election year on the national political scene and even before the field of Democratic candidates was narrowed to two she was considered the least famous of the candidates' spouses.[26] Early in the campaign, she exhibited her sarcasm and told anecdotes about the Obama family life. However, as the press began to emphasize her sarcasm, which did not translate well in the print media, she has toned it down.[25][20] In a press account of her sarcasm, New York Times op-ed columnist Maureen Dowd said: “I wince a bit when Michelle Obama chides her husband as a mere mortal — comic routine that rests on the presumption that we see him as a god,. . .But it may not be smart politics to mock him in a way that turns him from the glam J.F.K. into the mundane Gerald Ford, toasting his own English muffins. If all Senator Obama is peddling is the Camelot mystique, why debunk this mystique?”[26][27]

Asked in February 2008 whether she would support Hillary Clinton if she got the nomination, Michelle said "I'd have to think about that. I'd have to think about policies, her approach, her tone." When questioned about this by the interviewer, however, she stated "You know, everyone in this party is going to work hard for whoever the nominee is."[28]

Despite her criticisms of Clinton during the 2008 campaign, when asked in 2004 which political spouse she admired, Obama cited Hillary Clinton, stating, "She is smart and gracious and everything she appears to be in public-someone who's managed to raise what appears to be a solid, grounded child." [29]

On February 18, 2008, Obama commented that "People in this country are ready for change, and hungry for a different kind of politics and let me tell you something, for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback." Several commentators criticized her for these remarks [30] [31] [32] [33] [34] and the campaign soon issued a statement that "anyone who heard her remarks, would understand that she was commenting on our politics," not on America itself
