Go back to your dictionary for the meaning of jungle justice. It is unverified crime even if the victim actually committed the crime. But there is no legal justice in that to defend himself in court.

But Sharia is a system as you rightly said and there is a legal process. So this judgement was handed down by govt from legal perspective.
