Firstly, those companies did not leave Warri because of the crimes. Get your facts right. Delta state government had issues with shell reason why they left. And Agip....dont let me go into that now. Chevron is still very much in Warri and I happen to be one of their service provider. Reason why I'm annoyed when I see these write ups as if nobody is living in Warri anymore.

Secondly, all these crimes you are mentioning happen 10 x more in other states especially Lagos. So why single out Warri for crying out load. You are on nairaland, dont go too far, just visit the crime section and read about what happens daily in Nigeria and tell me how many of those crimes reported happen in Warri? Is it the man that strangled his wife? Or the man who killed his mother and burried in a shallow grave? Or a nude girl raped with body parts missing? Or people being attacked by robbers and loosing valuables or their life in d process? Or robbers operating in broad day light attacking commuters and shattering their vehicle glass with reckless abandon while injuring some? Or the cult wars happening in some streets where innocent people have been killed? Or So many rape cases and kidnap cases leading to the death of the victims?...........Did all these crimes mentioned happen in Warri
Please Mr OP, crimes happen everywhere and don't just single out a city out of the whole country just because u are a witness to one..........You r just being biased and unrealistic. I do my business in Warri and have been their for years so stop writing trash.

Sometimes I get into Warri late in the night from Lagos and still get to my house safely even at 1am. Can u say the same thing about Onitsha? Pls answer Mr OP.

Warri is a very small town reason why some of these crimes gets noticed easily. Can u account for the number of crimes that takes place everyday in Lagos, PH, Onitsha, Aba etc? Try getting a job for him although I don't know how old he is, try getting him to indulge in any Labour that will cut his time spending doing nothing,a computer program for beginners, carpentry, tiles fixing, barking saloon, dish/satellite installation anything at all that he can start doing even if he rejects the idea at first don't give up make him find interest in it like getting him something or promising him if he agrees to, and get the elders of the family of involved by advising him consistently, trust me I have seen people who you would write off instantly become great men through little choice you help them make... And please most importantly never try to threaten, assault or a cost such people in violent ways it is a mistake please if the worst comes to the worst get him to go live with a family member that has lots of members who he obviously can't intimidate, and if he keeps hurting your mom get the police involve let him sign a warrant that no harm comes to your mother through his actions this will do the trick

People have to be careful. If you think you are dealing with the average Nigeria fulani/fulfude group then you people should better wake up. I'm a Fulani man and I know what I'm talking about. These herdsmen carrying out all these atrocities are dangerous herdsmen from other Africa countries e.g chad, Niger, Sierra Leone, Gambia, guinea, Senegal, Mali etc. Normally they rarely attack any community until they are attacked first and they don't understand anything called fair play. They have a very wide network that cuts across the entire African continent.

My problem with the hypocritical Nigeria media houses is they hardly report any killings of these herdsmen by the local community, but the herdsmen reprisal attacks are always reported. To me this is insensitivity. We all know how innocent Nigeria herdsmen are killed everyday by the locals, but nobody wants to talk about that. The agatu people killed many innocent Fulani herdsmen before the herdsmen reprisal attacks, but how many media houses reported that? All we were hearing was Fulani ransacked agatu community.

People should be careful, if you think these herdsmen don't get to hear news about how their fellow brothers are killed and their cattle rustle, then we are not serious about solving this crisis

I have been in innoson bus from Abuja to ph. From Lagos to warri and the vehicle is as good as hiace bus from Toyota your father's. Last weekend a rich oil worker got wedded using two innoson G5 in warri effurun. Am finding it difficult to upload the pix of the SUV been decorated with wedding bells. When I approach the driver to find out how the vehicle perform he told me that it moves like my Rx Lexus. I use Microsoft phone so those who know how to upload pix through this phone should tell me for the team pictures. For Siena before you say anything about the ride please make sure that you have driven the car First before making assumptions. Because I have seen a brown new corrola that the transmission failed before 6months and was sent back to Lagos. I also read about the airbags issues with 2016 Honda CRV which was recalled back. Lets support our own @ Siena et tal N/B I first saw innoson G5 SUV during Rochas first daughter wedding in 2013 @ owerri which innoson himself came with the car.
