Did she ever remember during his tenures in government the wives of those her husband kept behind bars for doing nothing wrong? Or the relations of those who were made to disappear till date? |
If this had happened in your house or mine, by now your whole family, relations and even your hapless neighbours would have been cooling off in custody. But here we are. Indeed there was a country |
Issuing directives without any incentives, experts at that aren't we? Why don't we adopt the model used in recent years in acquiring new aircraft for airlines and do something in that direction for these cabbies too |
African support keh? Do you deserve it? |
This is what you have to say! People are being maimed, murdered, raped, kidnapped and butchered and this is all you have to say. You should have remained silent instead of trying to defend the indefensible |
This is alarming. How can meaningful association and fellowship thrive well in this kind of atmosphere? |
You were never ready for marriage. All you want is children and it's obvious you don't care about the other person's feelings as long as you get what you want. Marriage is much more than that |
Have you ever considered asking your Creator for advice? His name is Jehovah, He created the heavens, the earth and everything, even marriage. Who knows He just might overlook your dubious way of life, show you mercy on account of Jesus and provide guidance. Learn to commit your ways unto Him |
Are these people merely bandits? |
How did she manage to sit in the truck that brought her to the event? |
MEDICINE AFTER DEATH |
So who are these "innocent" people? And so what happens to those not considered innocent? Who is that man that God appointed to determine those who are innocent or not? |
Which one of them looks like a Babalawo? |
We make such simplistic comparisons. Yes the naira has lost its real value after several years of poor fiscal management but this story is not complete. I was in Europe sometime in 2023, a bottle of water smaller than ours cost 1.5 Euros, the equivalent then of #1500. Bottled water here was like #100, 150. They were selling bananas there like not in bunches but in singles, a whole bunch here was like #1500, 2000 then. Times are hard, true, the purchasing power of the Naira is low, true, but let's try to be objective |
DENYING THE OBVIOUS! |
What goes round comes round eventually |
I did not read this writeup, there's no need. The heading is sufficient. Can anyone locate that Nigerian who has no preferences, no political leanings whatsoever and no ideas of theirs as to how to head a body like INEC. Let the writer provide us with their names |
When you deliberately set out to mock those who are genuinely struggling with a challenge, disease or other problem of life, do not be surprised at whatever comes your way too. The love of money is the root of every injurious thing. |
No sentiments but you managed somehow to leave out Year 2023, the exchange rate was #1050 = 1USD |
It amazes me the amount of disdain and obvious hatred some people have for Israel. It's borne out of ignorance or deliberate hardness of heart neither of which is beneficial. God, the Almighty God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth says He has made them His chosen people and that through them the whole world would be blessed. He has gone ahead over several centuries and up to the present day to prove His word and yet people keep railing and quarreling with what they cannot change. If God blesses, who can turn such blessings to curses, who! |
Alarmists! Is 17.24 gallons = 1 liter? Haba Nigerians, e take e easy o. |
It seems as if we like to carry the burden and load of other people beyond our own. The Almighty One says "Love your neighbour as yourself", I really wonder why we choose to do otherwise. The terrorism, the banditry, the kidnappings, the killings in our nation everyday are so mind-boggling and yet here we are making a meal out of issues way beyond us. I wonder whether Iran cares as much! |
Whenever justice is delayed or denied the minds of many men seem fully set to do even more evil. May the ultimate Judge, the Almighty God do the needful |
When they say peace, peace, then sudden destruction comes... |
In error, #100,000,000.00 only! |
EXECUTIVE LAWLESSNESS! |
I'm sure that there have been deep-seated issues in Rivers State in recent years involving the current governor, his predecessor and the members of the House of Assembly. However it appears the recent move by Mr. Fubara to join the ruling party seems to have upset the plans of his antagonists. The last straw that wants to break the camel's back. |
If as a country you had been managing your "internal affairs" well enough, I don't think anyone from anywhere would be justified in meddling. But can't you see that we have brought ourselves to the brink and the level of killings, kidnappings and destruction is beyond reason. |
Should it now be only your lives secured at the expense of ours? Representatives haah!! |
It's now obvious that quite a sizable number of misguided people are pleased and satisfied with the misery and poverty and mindless killings that these terrorists have visited upon us for so many years. May the Living God speak for the the innocent, the weak and the helpless who are being massacred daily. |
Sponsored protests teleguided by all manner of parochial interests. No opposition to the protests by the Police Force but let Mr. Sowore announce his intention for the same protests and then all hell would be let loose |
Is that really the correct narrative? These wanton killings, kidnappings, maimings, rapes and destruction seem to go way beyond farmer and herder clashes. To limit it in this manner is to delude ourselves in the face of obvious realities. What do Boko Haram, Lakurawa and all these other groups coming up have to do with farmer/herder clashes? |
