Why is NNPC not held accountable for the fairy tales they've been feeding us with for decades? I think they told us during the time Sanusi Lamido was CBN governor that we consumed something like 40 to 60 million litres of petrol (PMS) everyday!! He was one of the few who rose up against them for this, he's no saint either but at least he stood up to them

Can anyone who really comprehends explain to me in simple English why NNPC has to be the entity to fix the price for Dangote or any other? I thought it transited sometime ago from government regulator of petroleum prices to a PLC, a competing entity just like Dangote.

I was wondering when this came about, now I know and knowing does not make me feel any better
