Arsenal Football Club Announce Support For Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender Groups.

North-London based Arsenal Football Club has announced support for Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender Groups.

This was made known via the clubs official twitter handle on Wednesday November 28th, 2108.

The post reads below:

As part of the Rainbow Laces campaign, we have been working with young people in our community projects to promote ways in which they can challenge prejudice and abuse in sport.

The campaign is a way for everyone involved in sport to show their support for LGBT equality and inclusivity.

This year, the focus has been on how to become an active ally to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual people in sport.

With this focus in mind, our BTEC and gap year students have been taking part in Stonewall education sessions at The Arsenal Hub, led by Arsenal in the Community staff.

As well as signing Stonewall's pledge to come out as an active ally to LGBT people in sport, the groups also learned how to report abuse as well as tips for challenging anti-LGBT language.

All Premier League clubs will begin their involvement with the Rainbow Laces campaign on Friday and there will be a rainbow presence at Emirates Stadium on Sunday for the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

At Arsenal, we're proud of the diversity within our team and amongst our supporters. Through our Arsenal for Everyone campaign we want to ensure that everyone associated with the club feels an equal sense of belonging.

APPEAL FOR THE RELEASE OF MR. SEGUN ONIBIYO

It came to light over the weekend, that Mr Segun Onibiyo, Kaduna based online personality and activist, was arrested by men of the Kaduna State Police Command, allegedly over his Facebook posts considered too critical of the Buhari administration.

It was alleged that the Governor of Kaduna State, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, may have been instrumental to his arrest and subsequent detention, even when this has not been proved at all.

Many accounts abound as to the whereabouts of Mr Segun Onibiyo, as to whether he is in police or prison custody, without a court order.

Whereas I do not subscribe to statements and posts that tend to disparage the leadership in any way, our Constitution in its section 39 has guaranteed to every citizen the inalienable freedom of expression and the press. Democracy thrives on free speech, where the right to receive and disseminate information should not be negotiable in any way at all.

However, where the exercise of the freedom of speech may have resulted into the infringement of any known law or a violation of the right of other citizens, the appropriate thing is to follow the due process of law, in dealing with such cases.

Under and by virtue of section 35 of the 1999 Constitution, a citizen of Nigeria should not be in custody beyond 24 hours, without being charged to court for any offense that may be alleged against him. Mr Onibiyo was said to have been arrested on November 23, 2018, in Kaduna and his fate and present location are said to be unknown.

I therefore appeal to the Inspector General of Police, the Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State and Governor Nasir El-Rufai, to direct the immediate release of Mr Onibiyo or ensure that he is arraigned before a competent court of law, for whatever offense that may have been alleged against him.

As we approach the 2019 general elections, it is necessary for our leaders to eschew some level of tolerance and for citizens to exercise restraint in the publication of tendentious and reckless statements, that may heat up the polity and be exploited for other purposes.

Segun Onibiyo arrested Over FB comment in Kaduna


Governor of Kaduna State ELRUFAI has arrested SMG Onibiyo over his Facebook posts, saying how dare he speak against the bad governance of APC? He was arrested on claims of Hate Speech.

The same Governor Elrufai who allegedly said horrible things to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his Government then, he also on several occasions threatened the Government, incited the people and a whole lot of horrible things but not for once was his freedom of speech denied. Now he wants to shut up social media users because his intolerance level is quite low. He can’t even take what he so dished out, but we will not be COWED to his bully, harassment and plans to shut us social media down.

Segun is currently held at Kaduna Police State Command..

Anti-kidnapping operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two brothers, Saheed Obadimeji, 19, and Ayodeji Obadimeji, 18, for allegedly beheading 10-year-old Joseph Makinde over N200,000.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said in a statement on Wednesday that the operatives were on a routine patrol on the Ajah/Epe Expressway when they arrested the two brothers for having in their possession a fresh human head.

He added that upon interrogation, the brothers confessed that one Sodiq Abefe contracted them to provide a human head for N200,000.


Oti said, “On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, around 8.30pm, a team of anti-kidnapping personnel of the Lagos State Police Command on routine patrol between Ajah and the Epe Expressway apprehended two brothers namely: Ayodeji Obadimeji, 18, and Saheed Obadimeji, 19, of Tunde Balogun Street, Shapati, Ibeju-Lekki, in possession of a fresh human head.

“On interrogation, they confessed that one Sodiq Abefe contracted them to provide him with a human head at the cost of N200,000, hence they lured the victim by sending him to buy a beverage drink for them, and when he brought the drink to them, they held him and cut off his head with a knife.

“The victim has been identified by his parents as Joseph Makinde, 10. The torso has been recovered from an uncompleted building located at Shapati and effort is being made to arrest the said Sodiq Abefe, who allegedly contracted the duo to commit the heinous crime.

“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, has directed that the case be handed over to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.”

Oti added that the CP advised criminals to repent or relocate from the state, or regret the consequence of their actions.

Point 2: Hebrew 9:22 which you wrongly quoted began with: In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood. I'm sure you didn't notice the law part of it. The writer of Hebrew also went ahead to say the we were no longer under the law but under the Grace but you ignored all that and quoted only the part that might suit your argument. Pastor Enenche, head Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre which recently dedicated the World’s largest church auditorium has slammed Daddy Freeze and others criticizing him over the new building.
