Yes, you can get loan in Nigeria without collateral if you are well connected. Your connection will be your collateral. How connected are you to the power that be? Secondly, my sincere advice, if sincerely you have what you claimed, then you have enough to invest and multiply in several ways. Investing that million wisely will multiply before a year. I use multiply not double. Invest wisely, seek for good investment advice. Nigeria is a goldmine |
I will go with stockbull. Invest in what you know best. Doubling or tripling the money will involves risk. The more ROI you wants, the more risk it involves. Banks, treasury bills and co takes the slightest risk thats why you get minimal returns. On the other hand, why not try Hedge Funds over there. Just thinking aloud. |

Members also benefitted from distribution of net earnings or profit based on the individual bussiness volume with the cooperative. |
The user benefitted principle says that the cooperative's sole purpose is to provide and distributes benefits to members on the basis of their use. Members unite in the cooperative to receive services otherwise not available to purchase . Quality supplies, to increase market access or for other mutual benefitted reasons |
The user controlled principled says those who use the cooperative also control it by electing a board of directors/ executives and voting on major organisational issues. This is usually done on a one member. One vote basis. Although some cooperatives may use proportional voting based on the use of the cooperatives |
Despite not the days of little beginnings. Little drops of water makes an ocean. Be in the midst of entrepreneurs. |
Our meeting holds in Abeokuta this saturday. Please invite your friends. The future starts now. Join us to make the big difference |
Members finance the cooperative through different method. 1. By a direct contribution through a membership fee or purchase of shares or stocks. 2. By agreeing to withdraw a portion of net earnings (profit) 3. By assessments based on units of products sold or purchased. For instance a tomato grower will be assess a fee of N10 for every box marketed through the cooperative. These assessments generally refered to as per units retains help finance the cooperative operations |
A. The user owned principle means the people who owns and finance the cooperative are those who use it. "use" usually means buying, supplying, marketing products or using services of the cooperative bussiness. |

You were created for a purpose |
Even though cooperatives are similar to many other bussiness, they are dinstinctively different. Some differences are found in the cooperative purpose, ownership, control and distribution of benefits. Cooperative follows three principle that define or identify their distinctive characteristics. User owned, User controlled and User Benefitted |
They are usually incorporated under state laws and require bye laws amd other neccesary legal papers. Members elect a board of directors or Executives to represent their interests. The board set policy and hires a manager to rins its cooperative's day to day bussiness |
DINSTINCTIVE FEATURES : In many respects, cooperative resembles other bussiness. They have similar physical facilities, perform similar functions and must follow sound bussiness practice. |
The Purpose of the cooperative is to provides greater benefits to the members such as increasing individuals income or enhancing a members way of living by providing important needed services. The cooperative, for instance may be the vehicle to obtaining improved markets or providing sources of supplies or other services otherwise unavailable if members acted alone. |
A cooperative is a bussines owned and controlled by the people who uses its services. They finance and operates the bussiness or service for their mutual benefits. Bt working together they can reach an objective that will be unattainable if acting alone. |
The Ogun State/ Bank of Industry matching loan scheme for expansion of Bussiness is on. Any one that need their sample format for writting the bussiness plan or the loan requirements and criteria should send mail to adesola_yinka@yahoo.com. |
