TheLoneCitizen:The issue I have is different, my game plays smoothly. The graphics is bad, the stage is bad I can't even see the next place to go to. Sometimes it even appears like I'm standing on air. See the pictures.

1Dray:Wow, that's really impressive. I get the feeling it is like a race, first to reach a certain score gets invited irrespective of outstanding courses. |
1Dray:Please what were your scores at the end of each course and how many courses did you do before you were called. |
chimaude:Interesting, you're done with buddy registration go enrol and start your first course - Setting goals for success, you have like 5 tests, final exam and test to do before the course ends on 6th September. You need to read all instructions added to the course to fully know what to do. Do that and start the second course which opened today-Personal Productivity. |
chimaude:I already have a person using me as buddy. Follow what 1Dray said. I just discovered we have to choose buddies for every course and the buddies must not be YesP participants. So choose a friend or family member that has a working email. You can be with him or her while you send the request and ensure they receive and accept it. In the end, your buddy accepts your final assignment. Be creative, stop restricting yourself, this course is easier than you think. |
1Dray:OK, I see your point, it even makes things easier. Chimaude, I hope you see this too. Please what is your final scores average like for course exam. I'm not really happy with mine. Were you able to get certificate at the end of every course? The link on my page is not working despite concluding the course. |
1Dray:There is a $25 dollar charge per course, the cost of the 18 courses we are doing is $450 paid for by the federal government of Nigeria. You enjoy this privilege because you are being sponsored by the government, should a person not part of YES-P try to join the program, they will be required to pay the fee. |
chimaude:Do not be too worried, it will be OK. This is what you should do, go through the community posts online and collect people that share the same interest with you emails. It is kind of late already so you should collect as many mails as possible. Then write an email to them, do not write a long mail just something short requesting them to be your buddy. I believe looking for a buddy close to you is a mistake, I may be wrong but even the platform is designed for you and your buddy to mail each other and nothing is said about meeting physically. Here's a sample mail. _____________________________________________ Subject: Be My Buddy. Hello, I am Mikel Obi from Jigawa state. I am into gum Arabic harvesting. I believe having a Buddy is not location influenced but rather something based on shared interest while communication can be through social media - whatsapp, BBM, email and gsm calls. Since we are both into ago allied business, we are a match. Be my buddy so we can forge a strong alliance and make a success of our endeavors at AMI. Please reply urgently to this mail if interested. Looking forward to your response. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now this is how you address it, assuming you got the contact of 30 people, take one email and put it in the email address area, take the other 29 emails and put them in BCC(blind carbon copy). This way you create the impression to the receiver that you sent the mail to them alone. I assure you, if you do it like that, you will receive a response from all of them. Most of them may already have buddies but you could still be lucky and get a person. Just keep repeating the process of collecting emails and sending this same mail out until you get people willing to be your buddy. If you are still worried about having a buddy close to you physically or that lives in your state then these are the functions of a buddy and nowhere was anything said about having to meet in person. ___________________________________________ 1. At the most basic level you are the person that (buddy's name) has elected to discuss some of the key concepts in this course and work through the practical activities for each lesson 2. Secondly, they've elected you as a person that they trust and respect to hold them accountable for their ongoing effort in the course – to remind them why they want to put in the work and accomplish this goal – and to help them ensure that they continue to put these lessons to work in their role as a manager. 3. Finally, you will be asked to review their final assignment and the brief report that they submit alongside it, to ensure that they have made a concerted effort to complete it as instructed. You will be alerted by email when the assignment is ready and will simply be asked to confirm or reject their submission. This is important because together, these 3 roles will help timchosen to get started on the path to effective and responsible management, and help them get recognized and rewarded for their progress through AMI. ________________________________________________ This is part of the official email from AMI buddy acceptance. You should also know that AMI is not in Nigeria but Kenya and this process was outsourced completely to them. By the grace of God when we scale through this process, our business with AMI ends and we deal with the EDC of Pan Atlantic University, Lagos. |
TheLoneCitizen:OK I'll try this. |
guydangerous:OK thanks. |
tempest01:This discussion is best had physically, it sure needs anonymous control but some other points you raised have issues which mmm as it is solved them. |
Elxandre:I will ignore you because your question shows you do not have a single clue about mmm Nigeria. |
guydangerous:I'm playing Chains of Olympus not Ghost of Sparta. I said it earlier in the thread. |
tempest01:Yeah bro I like how you think but your model won't work. Nobody will agree to do anything for free, even a volunteer would resign when he sees the amount of money passing through. The truth of the matter is the system needs central anonymous control. I'm already in the process of building a team to start my own service and partner with a programer who already has a similar system with over 200 users. |
Snow5:Lol, I am very indifferent to his plight. My choice of words are to express the situation not my anger. While in school I participated in civil unrest within campus too but still graduated with a clean sheet and departmental recognition for not being troublesome. In their words, I was like a ghost. They only took note of my matriculation number when they marked my scripts and eventually had to see me before I graduated. That is what a student should be in school and in life. Drawing unnecessary attention to yourself will not help you. This boy's CV is permanently damaged as it is and even in business there's already a bad precedence. This guy knows he is right but he should go and beg because that is what he will eventually do when wise people counsel him. |
tempest01:Yes, but there will always be people not someone to fill the void. It is just a matter of knowing how much is pledged, how much has actually been given out. It will take a colossal amount of greed to collapse the system. The admin needs to continue taking people's money for a very long time and still will hardly crash the program because people are recruited through networking. I really do not see this program failing but we should wait and see, meanwhile I strongly support it. |
guydangerous:Boom J8, Temple of Zeus, I'm using your settings. I just noticed I stopped seeing myself and even those attacking me. The figure you can see in the picture is appearing because it is a giant. |

This is a person we're talking about here and we should remember that firstly he has a family, especially a mother. Secondly, he has chosen the path of education. Thirdly, be realistic, so you think it is easy to switch from educationist to hustler or business person. If you were in his shoes, would you have the guts or shoe such stupidity to go as far as he has gone? From his looks you can see he is from an average Nigerian family, by average, I mean the definition of average Nigerian family by the world Bank. Like I said, he totally lacks strategy because this fight is one he will hardly win. Instead of arguing over this, let's see the eventual outcome. |
tempest01:MMM is fail proof. I also did your risk analysis and was amazed by what I saw. I'll educate you based on the deep understanding of the system you already have. Permit me to blow your mind sir, there will be no day of reckoning because the activities that constitute that day in my own opinion are already happening. Common sense dictates it is better to keep the gold egg laying goose alive than to kill it. What I believe is already happening is the admin through its agents already have the privilege to Get Help whenever they want without having to Provide Help first. And as long as old and new members keep Providing Help, that sink hole will be filled up almost as soon as it is created. It is also possible for your scenario to happen but I doubt it ever will. The people alone in my small town participating in this program definitely have more than N20m in the system, you be the judge of how much lagosians will have in the system and Easterners too. We all know what happened to the stock market despite all the regulations and everything and how Nigerian bank CEOs turned depositors funds to their personal allowance. Life is all about risk. |
Metroman7:Nigeria does not need a one man revolutionist but a faceless group, he's not the only one in this fight but he has singled himself out for destruction. |
I love the guts of this guy but he lacks strategy and is undermining his opponents. In the end, he will beg. The last guy that behaved like this in my uni days was rusticated for 8 semesters and a memo sent to all Nigerian universities not to give him admission. He actually got the rustic action while I was in secondary school but I believe he resumed 300L while I was in final year. The severity of the situation has not dawned on this young man yet. |
guydangerous:To start with, all the cut scenes have been deleted in my game and only one cut scene os played for any cut scene I get to. But finally, I'm at this stage where I can't see myself in the game. Have you encountered such problem too. Here is a screen shot, Kratos is in that picture but invisible, like those I am fighting with.
|
OLAADEGBU:Do not waste your time, I do not share her beliefs on this topic. |
waxxydude:Remember markessien is a public figure and the CEO of hotels.ng and should live a life without scandal unlike somebody that will just make the news for raping a girl. People will soon forget it but the global tech community and VCs will not forgive or forget it if markessien does it. |
endtimeshit:Sorry but you're the one doing yourself. The road is in front of you but you chose university over football. It is not too late for you to quit and start hustling football. |
iamDaisy:Mark is one of the most guarded CEO in the world. His team is so advanced that you don't see them until you become a security risk to him. |
othnielejike1:I took no offense, no need to apologise. People misunderstand in verbal communication talk less of just trying to communicate in in text only. |
1Dray:No, it is not bad but it causes confusion. Good thing you are participating also, do you remember how confused people were when your set started initially. That is exactly what is happening now in my set, there are people who are worried about making course payment and those who can't use their calendar thinking it contains August only. Before the course registration opened, nobody knew what a buddy was. Everybody was just making wall post based on instructions then imagine someone coming to ask for buddy, even the person asking does not have the material to add. But this morning after registering the first course, everyone now understands what a buddy is and are making new wall posts to show their industry and hopefully meet people in the same industry as them. Not trying to antagonise anyone but I believe people should be allowed to take baby steps but that's my opinion and people can decide on knowing whatever they want to know even ahead of the program. |
othnielejike1:And you know I'm aggressive by text? It's now aggressive to talk sense. Ok. |
lovemko:Exactly, like I said yesterday. I started my course this morning and already have 2 potential buddies. Even reaching out to people on a process before it is brought to their knowledge causes confusion on the platform. |
1Dray:Buddy appointment is for September 8 and an email will be sent to that effect. I am very sorry for those that want to run before they can walk because you know more than the organisers. When I have had enough, I will unfollow this thread. I don't really see the use of this thread as the AMI platform has a built in social media for the exact purpose this thread is trying to fulfil, the difference being over there you're interacting with participants while here there are over sabi non participants, lecture sellers, aproko consultants and those who know nothing but just want to rip off the gullible. |
adeniyilamlek:use the settings in his screen shots, they will help make the game playable. |
