am kinda confused on your batch bro, what batch are you? cos you seem to be everywhere and anywhere

Lol, that's because you started seeing me halfway. I'm in cohort 2, concluded Market Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning yesterday.

Thumbs up guy wey get eyez. I was wondering why a whole E-Money's bedroom didn't have a walk-in closet. This is really under par for me. Except perhaps he bought the house and refurnished it.

A walk-in would have been more ideal.

Even if he bought the house, he can remodel. He is simply not informed and has no taste. Like the typical Nigerian elite that stumbled into great wealth, he's spending excessively in the hopes that the expensive furniture will cover up for the lack of arrangement.

dyydxx:
excellent so far. top notch

Are you the one taking care of your accommodation, feeding and transportation? How are you coping?

Poorly arranged room with expensive furniture. Why is that closet not a built in walk-in and out of sight. Money miss road.

I watched the event live on Facebook. Here's his post.

Priscilla and I just shared our next major focus for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

Can we help scientists to cure, prevent or manage all diseases within our children's lifetime?

I'm optimistic we can.

Medicine has only been a modern science for about a century, and we've made incredible progress so far. Life expectancy has increased by 1/4 of a year per year since then, and if we only continue this trend, the average will reach 100 around the end of this century.

Today, just four kinds of diseases cause the majority of deaths. We can make progress on all of them with the right technology.

Throughout history, most scientific breakthroughs have been preceded by the invention of new tools to help us see problems in new ways -- like the telescope, the microscope and DNA sequencing.

It's not hard to imagine the modern tools required to accelerate breakthroughs in today's four major disease area. So we're going to focus on bringing scientists and engineers together to build these new tools and technologies.

Today, we announced a few steps in this direction:

Dr. Cori Bargmann, a world-renowned expert in neuroscience and genetics, is joining the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to lead this initiative. We are thrilled to welcome her.

We are committing to invest $3 billion over the next decade in this initiative to help scientists cure diseases.

Our first project is creating the Biohub. We're investing $600 million in a new research hub to bring scientists and engineers together from Stanford, UCSF, Berkeley, and the world-class engineering team we're building at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, in order to build some of the new tools I mentioned above.

The science initiative is a long term effort. We plan to invest billions of dollars over decades. But it will take years for these tools to be developed and longer to put them into full use. This is hard and we need to be patient, but it's important.

This is about the future we want for our daughter and children everywhere. If there's a chance that we can help cure all diseases in our children's lifetimes, then we will do our part. Together, we have a real shot at leaving the world a better place for our children than we found it.

Eeyah..... I'm pained!
Guess you are satisfied?! LOL!

I wasn't being sacarstic when I wrote that. Sorry, I shouldn't have quoted you.

It's only a certificate, she even said it. Is the moderator pushing topics the front page high or just struggling to get traffic at all cost.

The other El Rufai thread, you were corrected and told French frites is a potato not French rice. You also ignored that advice.

Oasis007:

Chai!

It's not French Rice..... rather French Frites. It's a potato chip like Thin cut, Agristo allummetes, spicy wedges etc!

I clicked on the link you provided, and was disappointed in the Newspaper that carried the news! Very misleading..... perhaps both Reporter and the Editor do not understand what Frites is, and thought it was Rice!

kindly correct it on your Title, also in the Post!
Lalasticlala, Mynd44 should take note of the correction before pushing it to FP!

The below in an image of French Frites.

Unfortunately you were ignored.

I personally think he's a genius.

Do you agree, disagree or seriously think the guy is just insane?

Ekakamba:
1. Caligula

The 1970s film "Caligula" is reported to be the first time that recognized, notable actors starred in a movie that featured pornographic scenes. Many of the sex scenes were not fake, and included scenes that featured MouthAction and penetration, the movie as a whole wasn't received well by critics or the public.

I do not know about the others but this movie is pure hardcore and I think it was an attempt to bring hardcore into mainstream Hollywood movies.

I use a tecno but these comparisons need to stop.

Whoever has anything to say against MMM should reply this lawyer.

Wow, I've been waiting and thinking of how the tube can be implemented in Lagos not knowing a better plan was in the works. This is exciting news.

Nigerians buy classics at all ages....new, used, in need of restoration, newly restored etc.

What alternative can the money buy? Another 2010 Toyota Camry that has gone through flood in the US like Lipton tea?

A lot of people have tastes and if the op is not in a rush, and not too overly profit minded, this car would be sold to a Nigerian..... possibly a quiet Nairalander who doesn't blow his horns

Lol, well let me observe.

Nigerians and ugly architecture. Instead of focusing on creating good design, they will be wasting cement to compensate for lack of creativity. I hate that thing called parapet.

Denn:
What gives you the impression that only Europeans deserve classics like this?

If I show you pictures of classics currently owned and driven within our borders, you would shout "change begins with me"

I would really wish this car remains within Nigeria....

Happy sales

I know classics are owned by Nigerians but mostly purchased when they were new. The actual issue is if Nigerians will be willing to spend the money to buy this car at its actual value knowing the alternative that money can buy.

Lexusgs430:
Have you factored in the logistics + cost to ferry it down to Europe + the possibility of getting a buyer?

That is actually not his headache but that of the buyer, in most case it will be an agent that will sell it at auction.

Do yourself a favour and start looking for buyers in Europe and North America unless you want to sell this car as scrap and by scrap I mean any price below N3m, even if you sell for $10,000,thats at least N4m and this car will sell for more than that. I was shocked when I saw the pristine condition of the interior. Get the right agent and they will come take the car from you. This car deserves better than Nigerian roads. I will start marketing the car abroad for you and I advise you look for foreign buyers too. Send me a PM so I can know your reserve price.

I thought LASG was planning to remove these buses from the road. These are some of the worst buses in the Lagos transport system.

The boy looks terrified and Ronaldo is not smiling. This is probably the conversation.

Ronaldo: 9 X 10 is what?

Son: *Long silence*... 910.

Ronaldo: *Gives scissors knock*... 9 X 10 is what?

Son: *Sobbing*...911.

Ronaldo: This pikin you don die today, where my koboko. Antonia! Take us a picture before I reset e brain.

MadamExcellency:
That means another constitutional amendment.

The first constitutional amendment for the autonomy of the Local Government areas was voted down by a majority from 36 States legislative assemblies because of their respective Government's (State Executive) influence.

Will they allow it this time? Let's see if our prayers get answered.

Remember, this will also create the distinction between the rich and the poor LGAs hence viability of most LGAs maybe exposed.

As the government proceeds on this important reform, we ask that it be extended to separation of States and Federal Government from owning a joint account and sharing same every month of the year.

The States also need certain degree of autonomy from Federal Government to enable them develop at their respective pace.

It won't repeat itself this time. They should do this and bring accountability to the grassroot level.
