As you can see, this is the downside of crossing hybrids. Attached is a picture of the chicks from the same mother hen (black kuroiler) and a Male Rooster (Ross 308). Both hatched the same day, with just 5mins apart.
I am guessing the other is a runt . And they are both male chicks having inspected both.

Because I have one at my pig farm, that is peaking on maggot from the my pig waste.
It has layer a total of 12 eggs as at today, so I wait for her Or I start eating the eggs?

30 days or less , it all depends on what u are feeding them..wastes from kitchen are superb..

Very cheap protein source for birds and fishes ..broilers can be raised using the bsf..it is already a multi million dollar investments in some nations.broilers rush the larva more than feed..

I will over the course of some days build a mini house for the bsf ..my goal is to cut birds feed consumption to 50% using bsf larva..welcome as we make this journey together..

Below are BSF PRE PUPA , WHICH will SOON TURN INTO adult bsf..

BSF FLIES dont lay eggs in a dirt or waste like house flies but lay their eggs at a height close to the waste , so on hatching the larva will fall into the waste and start its life as a young maggot.

Black soldier fly differs from common house flies.bsf lays between 500 to 700 eggs per clutch. These eggs, all things beingequal hatch after 2-4 days.

For example the title of the article chosen by the author himself begs for answers, yet nowhere in the article did he answer it (Title: JB promise to deliver as contracted), any sophisticated reader will expect to find the details of the contract delivery date mentioned.

The article rather gives the impression it is more interested in painting the picture of how the "comported" MD of JB gave a "respectfully but emphatic" response.

Hello farmers,i've 45 layers that began laying @ 20 wks,since i switched to feeding chikun layer feed @ 22 wks, thier feed intake has reduced in absence of any deases. Pls what could be the cause of this?

Change of feed is the cause. How did u change, mixing old and new or u just started using the new feed. Try to give vitamin.

The energy content in the layers mash can't be compared to that of the broiler feed moreso the protein content of broiler feed is higher than that of the layers.
Why feeding broilers layers mash... To lay eggs?

Layer feed is less expensive,trying to cut cost since my birds will stay longer.

how can i measure 1g

1 gram of drug A may not be 1g for drug B in quantity, just like when u compare 25kg of malt and 25kg of feed or cement and sand. The best way to measure drug is to use electronic weight scale. Though I use a level of take away spoon to mean 4g which I know is not correct for many drugs..I hope this helps.nice day.

Could feeding layers mash be the cause of leg and feather deformity in broilers..
I have 15 broilers that I ve been feeding layers mash, they now sttagger while walking.

I am about to start poultry farming in 5 days time. just finish d building, and I was told by someone that I'll need to spray it with a particular antibacterial stuffs or so b4 d arrival of d birds.. I no Nothing about poultry.
2ndly is dat, I want to go for 150 birds to be raise for 4 weeks and after that will go for 200birds to raise 100 for 4 weeks and 100 for Dec period. I need to know more about brooding, feeding, and d drug to give them. I'm afraid of loss coz I've invest so much on d building and I can't afford to lose, but I believe with good people in this thread, we'll all succeed together.

Do u have buyers for 4weeks birds, people sell two weeks broilers not 4weeks. Then , wait till late September to buy DOC FOR December. Ie , 10-12weeks to 30th December. For the floor, buy any good detergent example ,hypo, use it to wash and spray ur pen..

Good orientation, u won't have much worry about rain splashes. I will advice that you read pages 1-30 at least of this thread. If u know nothing about poultry as u claim, please and pleaseooo buy 50 birds.this is to get u acquainted with birds. If u don't have 24 hrs or little less electricity supply for heating, then consider charcoal as the weather is still somewhat cold. If the room is too big, build a temporary brooding apartment inside, this is to reduce heat dissipation through unknown holes in the room. As u read, you will know the necessary drugs to buy, antibiotics, vitamins, anti cocci and others ..success in your journey
