This wait is frustrating. I renewed mine including change of name, did capturing since Aug 4 and they are not even answering or giving any time frame. It’s over 6 weeks yet nothing. And my former passport is with them which I need for travel.

From Mile 2, take a bus going to Oshodi, tell the conductor you're going to drop at Odo-Olowu, it's two bus stops before Cele Express.
Once you get to Odo Olowu bus stop walk backwards or ask for the big wearhouse. Better still tell the conductor you're going to the big wearhouse at Odo Olowu, buses that ply that route know the place, so they'll most likely drop you in front of it.

I got this my German fridge for 85k there, it freezes for more than 48 hours after few hours of light. I could have gotten something similar at a lesser price, but I insisted on a tested fridge and didn't pay until I went to test it at a section of the wearhouse and was sure it was working fine.

They have non tested at lower prices but once you pay and take it out of the wearhouse, anything that happens to the fridge afterwards, na you know o. That one is dependent on luck or if you're willing to repair it after you take it out and anything happens.

They have different types of fridge, even for ice cream and those big ones to display drinks. Most of these big supermarket owners, restaurants etc go there to shop.

It is not only fridge they sell, there's virtually nothing that you're looking for there that you wouldn't find. That's where I grew up, there are other medium and mini wearhouse around that location.

Well, those that were called today is majorly district 3(or 5? Not sure which number jare) people.. that is people on the island. I'm from VI. So, it's basically checking of your original certificates, nysc, o level, sch cert and your application ID. It's 3 stages.
First essay 10 mins. Pls read your instructions well. Next interview and micro teaching combined with questions about you. Lastly checking of credentials again by the high ranking commissioner who will announce to you if you passed or failed. Wishing you guys success..

So I went to capture today. The interviewer frustrated me ehn
He asked me to produce the originals of my documents (birth certificate & local government of origin certificate), even though those documents were vetted by the front desk when I came to submit my application 6 weeks earlier and I could remember asking the front desk man if I needed to bring anything along while coming for the capturing, and he said no.
I had to go back home to bring them. Those of you coming from Lagos for DIY should note that.

I came back and I was one of the last people to capture. #199 and they only capture 200 people each day. I got the confirmation slip after I captured and August 30th is the collection date on it. Since the general collection date is 6 weeks after, I'm not so sure about that, but I plan to go to check on August 30th. You'd never know

The officer that signed me out wanted me to drop something before giving me back my confirmation slip but I bone face. I plan to bone face too when I finally collect the passport.

Those people just dislike "self-download" anyhow

Submited documents on 13th Aug Captured 17th aug, Diy Abeokuta, I was told to come in 6wks time & collect the passport.
