Proof of payment.

Two (2) passport photographs (colour).

Applicant should provide Passport Number of lost Passport.

An agent is demanding 120k for hers alone citing change of name as the reason for the price.

I’m trying to make her opt for DIY.

So after getting all the required docs in respect to this and was about to commence with registration, Hanty gave me a shocker that the expired passport is missing asin (Lost).

At this point I don’t even know whatelse to do because I’ve checked thru the portal and can’t see anything relating to requirements/procedure of lost passport.

Is there any last play on this boss or I should inform her to proceed with the officer.

All those points are valid, but it isn't practical in all my years of driving experience. Maybe our own highway in Nigeria is different from highway overseas. Our experience here in Nigeria is such that a car that is used for Interstate travels gets damaged faster than a car used for Intrastate commute. Examples are all over, so I will not really depend on a white man's experience overseas to describe or explain a phenomenon which might be unique to my own environment. If I can get answers to my questions, my opinion might change. But till then... I will rather buy a car that has been used mainly within town for d last 5years than buy a car that has been running Lagos to Abuja for the past 3years.

When we factor issues of massive potholes, speed breakers, checkpoints etc on our roads, these are the obstacles that justifies ur choice and it’s very understandable.

The only thing that contradicts your point is ”Environment”. Other than that, intercity cars doesn't come close to highway cars in terms of performance output, durability and it’s lifespan. Manufacturers/Users test has proven this overtime.

As a science student (except u are not) u should know that any machine or system that works at high rate is dispensing more energy and doing more work.
In d case of a car, driving 120-140km/hr for hours, is definitely different from within town driving. Ur engine and every part of the car is strained from covering more miles within a short time frame.

Have u asked why cars that where formerly used for interstate movement are relegated to Intrastate after some years of service? Have u asked why a car that u will be using for months without issue will suddenly break down on d highway when u carry it to travel?

How can u say d only difference between highway travelling and within town movement is tyre wear and tear??... U dey amaze me o!!!

The first thing you need is a sound mechanic.

Look for a used 2003-2005 Nissan Almera Tino to buy and don't pay more than 600-700k for it no matter what the seller says. Use another 700k to overhaul the car, change the engine, gear, suspension, tires, battery, etc. Reverse all wiring back to the way it came from the factory.

It should serve you for 6-12 months before you start having issues with it. Good luck.

So all she needs to do is to go with copies of the above listed documents together with her application form bah? Cuz I did a demo reg to see what it looks like but there was no request to attach documents anywhere during registration.

Please, the NIN column on this page, does she need to update her nin name to her hubby’s too or she can proceed with her own existing surname. Cuz I know this nin update wahala of name change and all.

Also for the kids(4,2), how can the application be processed and the requirements for them too.
