Bubewilson: You are totaly right. While i was waiting 4 nysc, i applied for jobs and stated the various positions i held in student organisations as my work experience and it did add balance to my cv as my interviewees where pleased to know that.

U re so on point. Gud post to the op. This is exactly wat happened to me. I saw an advert of a job seekin 3yrs exprnce and I was very worried as I had jst nysc experience. Someone told me to write ol the experiences I had in my cover letter n I did. I stated dat durin my nysc I did volunteer jobs for communities (guess u al knw dat coppers take part in POLIO vaccination) like being a monitor and supervisor durin polio, I also stated that back in school I did courses related to community development, children's theatre where we mobilze children to be creative, to take care of their environs, etc. Believe me dat got me called for interview, I defended al wat I wrote and I got the job. You all know how good it is working wit those international NGO's.
The op is so on point, every experience is very important.
