My Johnson, Can you please confirm the cost for Mercedes E class 350 2011 Model ? |
dynamix101:@dynamix101, Really, I am particular of my operating cost. Outside of the cost of buying the stock and the structure, my Plan is to inject 500k every month for the next year. Based on my calculation my feeding cost will rise and progress will progress as follows. Please see below. Monthly cost in green and cumulative cost in yellow. Meaning I need approximately 6million investment excluding structures. This will consist of feeding, buying, Labour, I have inlucde the various feeding requirements at different stages (piglet, weaners, growers dry sow, lactating sow, Boar). The plan is to inject 500k every month on operating cost and this will grow to 1 million at the 12th month. Is this a feasible estimate? The values in green at the cost per month, while the values in yellow are the cumulative cost.

Hi Guys, I have been reading your articles with great interest and need to join in the conversation. Really, raising pigs to sell as additional income and farming pigs as a business are two different things entirely. Please note, I am not a practicing farmer but presently putting together a feasibility report on what it takes to successfully farm pigs as my soul source of income. I would appreciate your contribution as I evaluate pig farming with a GO or no GO decision. These are my goals for the first year, my inability to meet these goals or successfully project the actualisation of these goals means a NO GO for me. In this business, you need to work back to front (meaning starting from the goal and working your way back). These are my goals at the end of the first year. 1. To attain 75 - 80 kg weight in 6 months. 2. To sell 100 pigs on monthly basis starting 12months from the start of production. 3. To establish the farm on not more than 1-acre land (6 plots) 4. To attain a turnover of 3.6million on monthly basis (80 *100*450) 3.6M. 5. To archive a profit of approximately 40% (1.5M)on monthly basis. 6. Attain a stock capacity of 760 pigs at the end of the year with a sale of 100 pigs every month there after. Looking at the table below, I would have attained 760 pigs by the end of the year and start selling 100 every month by the following month. To achieve these goals, pig farming must be run as a business and the following factors need to be considered from the beginning. 1. Breed 2. Feed formulation and alternative cost of feed ingredients. Question. Please does anyone have a capacity of 1000 pigs, in a well-organized layout with good record keeping? Please let me know if you do as I have a lot to learn from you. Please I would not hesitate to pay for your time spent. Also find attached my analysis with commnets

Hi Guys, I need to visit Oke-Aro pig farm to gain some insight into the current piggery practice in order to work out what the best practices are when setting up a new farm. Could you please provide me with a contact or If you wouldn't mind, recommending your farm or one you know off where i could view and learn one or two things. The plan is to ensure that things are properly done before I start. Your assistance will be much appreciated. |

Point of Correction please. The Public savants in Nigeria are not Civil savants.... They are EVIL SAVANTS They are the ones that teaches the politicians how to manipulate the books. There are there year in year out and shows the politicians the way. Deal with them an out problems are resolved. For the first time, i do agree with Dino Malaye |

Hi All, Just got myself together. Been in Lagos for two weeks and it been a nightmare. Ok what is kicking, i have not been lucky with the options. |
AMBA Option Guys, i have decided to test my options as an insurance against my stocks. what i have done here is a follows 1. Purchased 100 AMBA stock at market price opening today approximately 63 dollars. 2. Bought a DEC 2 Call option, please see strike price in the diagram. 3. Bought a DEC 2 PUT option. please see strike price in the diagram. Reason. Imagin i have 100 position of AMBA as shown in the purchase of 100 AMBA, and AMBA is about to declare result tomorrow, all i have to do is buy one contract of AMBA representing 100 stock on either CALL or PUT option depending on where the stock might head. In this case, as i already have a long position AMBA, i will buy one contract of a PUT option for AMBA representing my 100 stock in case the price drops after announcement. This will make me money and compensate for a drop in price for my underlying stocks. Let us see how this plays out this week as AMBA announces result this week.

zPixel:Zpixel, Please note i will not be in Lagos till this weekend so bear with me. Need to have my fibre installation ready today and once am on ground i will set it up early next week. since you are in Lagos we could have the session at any time you desire. |
Wow... Really impressed I have decided to hold my positions till the system knocks me out, seems it is much better. As i do not trade in the UK and a non US citizen, I do not worry about short term trade. Never the less, is is better to hold out for long as long as the position is in your direction. |
Yeryer, what is your average hold time for these stocks. Days, weeks or Months. I have decided to go long on my position till the market hits my stop loss unless the stock is moving sideways for too long in heaving swings. |
Yeryer, Note, my trailing stop is not as close as it appears in the diagram above, the true position will be revealed when the Market opens. I did adjust my trailing stop hence the reason why is shot up. ideally it is 10% the highest price at any time. |
YerYer:Yes, they will be installing a fiber optic at home this weekend, that should give 2 24/7 connection as 4mbps. From what I could see, its seem you had a call and put position in GME ( called a strangle) what is the plan here, sell one and hold one ? |
YerYer:YerYer, Travelling to Nigeria this weekend and will be in lagos till 10 January 2017. I will be working from home for the whole month so let me know when we can test the video session or the webex. so you let me know a good time and we can have one next week. Please download webex and install on your labtop, it is free. |
[quote author=YerYer post=51446848]Cool returns; that's a sweet trade! Any rationale behind buying the name Actually the stock has been in my radar as a market leader with good returns but the price was dwindling downwards. Following the Election of Trump, the Market moved up the second or third day in a strong volume and the stock closed about 50% above its usual volume so i jumped in. Now the plan is to hold it till it kicks me out, i have a trailing stop at 10% the highest price with the intention to hold that till it drops 10 % from the highest high irrespective of how long it takes. I used the same strategy with AMBA and walked away with 20% gain. |
YerYer:Need to check the actual entry price, think it was 36 dollars or there about as i am 30% up on the last 4 weeks. The vertical green line shows my entry date |
Hi All, Been a while posting articles on stocks but i recently discovered a book " how i made 2million dollars on the stock market". This was interesting reading and i discovered the box principle implemented by the trader to calm his nerves in the market. Please see attached a copy of the implementation of the box technique on one of my positions. I need to see how this would go a long way in decision making on buy and sell. Please read the book, it makes an interesting reading

Yeryer/Zpixel, Please go to Cisco Webex and download the application on your computer. you do not have to subscribe to the application as i have done that. All you need is to have it installed and so that you can launch it when i send you a meeting invite. you will need to have a camera in order to see me. I will subscribe to the 15/month package to host as much as 8 people at a time. Try the link below and see the video. https://www.webex.com/how-to/index.html?video=2717062870001 |
YerYer:Good job man... do not underestimate the drive it takes to learn something on your own and commit your funds to it. I did some learning back in the days when i just started but never invested real money into it. The plan is to first start by using options as an insurance policy for my stocks at a volatile period. Take for instance i have 100 units of stock "A" at 10 dollars each (total of 1000 dollars). when the stock is about to declare their earnings, ideally what i do it to reduce my exposure buy 75% and then buy back the stock if it swings on the up side. With option all i have to do is buy a "put" option (one contract = 100 units of stocks @ the money) this should not cost me more than 100 dollars approx. so if the price of the stock falls, my put option will make me money and i will quickly sell all may stocks and make what ever i have lost on the put option. Once i have a good feel for this, then we will start off with normal options. |
kafeii123:Thanks Looking into it. |
SillyMods:Anyone who could successfully do that is what we need to turn the ship of the country. |
if anyone thinks Atiku has anything to offer, trust me we are in for the dark age.. Atiku has too many women and his presidential ambition will send Nigeria to early grave. Atiku is a thief of the highest order, all our women will become political prostitutes under Atiku. Trust me Atiku 2019 marks the end of the Country. |
kafeii123:I have just opened this account and seem a bit confused, i cannot seem to find my US stock on their platform. Which market do they trade |
Yeyer I once got myself burnt using options and would like to work with someone confident of the trade. Can we organise a session via a video conference to discuss this? surly we can use webex or skype and have 3 people join the session. Zpixel you could also use the opportunity to profile your day trading strategy, not sure what your internet connection is like in Nigeria. In any case, we will have to sync due to the time diff in the US. |
