In reality, I hardly follow the news relating to Cryptos as they are all speculations. No real figures to back them up. The plan is to see what people are doing and trade in relation to price action and volume. Price action and volume provides me with buyer sentiments. I still do not have a solid grip on the Fundamental analysis but looking forward to lessons from YerYer.

Have a clear look at the price action below in relation to volume and you would see decision could have been made earlier before a complete breakdown.

ZCL had the same pump in anticipation of the Bitcoin Private fork and after that it dumped 75% or so.

Another bitcoin speculation powering another stock today, Square (SQ) the payment processor is said to be planning bitcoin integration on its platform and they stock rallied 9.5% today. I'm not sure why a company if it's size ($14bn) would rally that much over bitcoin related news except of course its a short squeeze, 13% of the stock is 'shorted.' Not complaining though, up 27% or $1,400

Yes, I quite agree with you, head and shoulders or inerted head and shoulders are a textbook trading pattern. They seem to work most of the time and are very powerful.

Right now cryptocurrency are in a steady decline and unfortunately, I have not found the option to short the position. Not sure if you could short cryptos at the moment. Does anyone have and Idea if you could actually short the crypto?

Nice call, right on the money. I was in trading view and I came across one user who predicted bitcoin's rally to bounce $8900. He identified a "reverse head and shoulders formation" and I thought it was very interesting and right on the money when it panned out that way.

This is my golden child. As you can see we have a nice cup and handle pattern with price consolidating at the handle with low volume. That is what we want to see. Once the price breaks up the green line in high volume crossing the by point established in the green comment. I will add more to my position.

Ripple Week 25/02/2018

General Market in steady pull pack as shown in the daily graph for Ripple. Please note, the sell volume is decreasing on a daily basis so what we need is to see the first shoot. Please see the 4hr graph on a possible entry point.

The second graph show Ripple in 4hr time frame. You can see the price is bouncing at the bottom showing we need to see a green volume shoot above average for the last 4hrs. This indicates a possible entry point.

Yeah bro, your grasp of technical analysis certainly helps and I try to apply some of the things I've learnt from you when looking at charts. Its actually interesting looking at charts and comparing volumes and what not, what has always turned me off has been the more advanced stuff like MACD, stuff like "cup handle," "head and shoulder" and all these confusing aspects. The simple stuff like recent bottoms and volumes I can relate to. Snagging up ripple at 75cents a piece was a good buy for you.

In regards to crypto recommendations based on fundamentals, you have to go with the popular ones which are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple and bitcoin cash, everything else is even more speculative. That's not to say you cannot trade anyone of them and make some quick buck. In fact I was talking with my colleague at work some weeks back and he was talking about his other friend who trades altcoins and makes a killing. He said he focuses on altcoins with the following qualities: (1) Their market cap must be below $1 billion (2) They must be mine-able and have a total max supply less than 30million (3) the ratio (formula is circulating supply divided market cap) of currently circulating supply and current market cap should be high at least when compared to other cryptos. The 3rd point wasn't very well explained so I kinda tried to understand it in my own way. His thesis was that bitcoin, ether, litecoin and all these high valued coins may continue to rise but they are currently overbought, meanwhile lesser known coins have a higher potential to grow exponentially. Using this strategy, I was able to identify Bitcore (BTX) as having one of the highest ratios and perhaps potential to go higher, its ratio is 0.69 while bitcoin's ratio is 0.019, that's 36 times cheaper. Heck maybe it can be looked at as some kind of EPS for crypto. Anyway, there is no actual science behind this score just as its very difficult determining bitcoin's real value. Perhaps this method can be used to identify a few coins and further technical and fundamental analysis can be applied to determine its true potential.

Its definitely nice to see bitcoin bounce back as well as the stock market. I was down $21k from my portfolio's all time high right before the selloff began but I've recouped 75% of the loss. Also glad I didn't sell any coins either.

You have done really well but getting caught up in the bloodbath and buying low is something you could only identify via technical analysis. Just watch out for the buy and sell volumes and you would get an indication of what is happening. I have just started buy the Cryptos as well accumulating them gradually.

I bought my first Ripple at 75cents after I noticed a rally following the successful test of a support line.

Can anyone please list what they see as a good Crypto to follow and do fundamentals. I would suggest we pick about 5 good ones and start following them.

The Market so for is bleeding and I do not have the nerve to enter it. Right now the sell level is very high and would like to see a stable and non volatile market before I get back in. Please see attached.

Have a close look at the volume on the lower right-hand corner. That is the highest sell or buy volume in months. The stocks might look Cheap, but the signs on the wall tells me the professional investors are getting out.

Please see the sell-off volume and you will see we have not seen that leave in the last 10years. Please compare it to the volume in 2008 and you will see that was the closest we ever had. this might be the beginning of a new sell-off in the market

This year I have been looking into the Crypto market as I did not make headway in the forex. Forex is so volatile that I cannot hold it down. Be careful and this is not the time to add to your positions. It might seem they are cheap, but stocks do not go up forever. Correction is imminent at a point and it seems we are not far off. Actually I got out of the market completely the first day the market showed a 1000 point sell off.

That was my impression of Forex before i started trading stocks. Actually, then, i would not allow my enemy to trade forex due to its volatility and factors affecting it. the only issue with forex is you have to be a technical person. It is purely technical analysis at the fundamental changes like wildfire. Regarding liquidity and volatility, No market is as liquid and volatile as forex. Stock trades about 100 Billion dollars every day while forex trade 5 trillion dollars every day. You can do the maths yourself.

Really, I have been dummy trading for the last two months trading planning my strategy and I only trade high time frames like 4hrs and daily so there is no need to sit by my PC.

I do my analysis a day before and then trade before the opening bell. If I have the opportunity to trade interday, I only by or trade on 4hr basis.

I plan to go live this month and will update this thread if you guys want to have a look. If anyone is interested I could update my trades and we could see how it works.

Square (SQ) just received another upgrade today and the stock rallied over 2% today while the option price is up over 20%. Currently up 300% or $3,750. Moved up my sell limit orders and will let this one run it's course.

Keeping an eye on our beloved BlackBerry (BBRY) the former smartphone king that fell out of favor to Apple's revolutionary iPhone. They've really cut their loss over the years and are a major players in software and security. The stock is well over $11 which is a very rich valuation at this point. Will watch it and buy any significant dip in the stock price.

Sorry, it is a sad story but trust me you are not alone. You need to keep your head clear and devoid of anger in order to make the right decision. Some useful thought process.
1. Define your worst case scenario and evaluate your response if it comes true. If she decides to leave what will you do? kids, job....
2. Have a paternity test done, this is a must, as it clears your head of one of the worst case scenario defined above.
3. Be prepared to give her another change once you have evaluated all these thoughts in your head, but she will have to make a commitment.
4. Whatever you do, do not sweep it under the carpet, keep it in house, but make sure you pray for the strength to address it because it is diff.

In short, the probability you will get the evidence you are looking for is next to impossible, by the time you get those evidence, you are dead. Trust me I am talking from experience. Listen to the unspoken, and pay attention when they are angry, you will get most of what you need .

True, But that is the Business side to the farming... You must be able to determine this cost with approx. 80% accuracy in order to feed properly and meet your business target. Difficult but very very crucial.

Exactly, the animals cannot be fed on 500k/month as they grow older. The attachment are as follows

Total pigs in the house - Shows the number of pigs in the house each month starting from 10 in January to 760 in Dec at different stages of growth.
Feeding cost per month - shows the feeding cost per month based on 3600 Naira for a Matured dry sow.
Running feeding cost - Shows the cumulative cost a the until the end of the year.


So in January, I will be spending 36,000 Naira to raise 10 adult pigs, while in December I will spend 1.160Million Naira on feed for 760 Pigs.
For the year, I will need 6Million naira on feeding alone. But by the time i start selling 100 pigs a month in month 13th (second year) I will have
a turn over of 3.5million a month with total extimated cose of not more than 2 million.

In addition,I do not plan to fatten any pig for more than 7months. My Target weight is 75 - 80 in 7months

To feed 500 animals requires around 300k monthly.

As to your other requirements and questions, you need a detailed practical business plan and a hand holding from when you start till when you start making profits.

Dry 4500/month
lactating sow 6000/month
weaners 750/month
Growers 1125/Month

Thanks for your update, my question really based on your experience is whether 500k/month would be enough to feed 500 adult pigs in a month. If i can answer this question correctly then i am convinced it is do able. You must have the following in order to archieve this.

1. Clearly defined forecast on weekly and Monthly baisis.
2. Clearly defined Matting plan, when, how and how to stimulate heat.
3. Clearly defined feeding regime and cost evaluation. You must clearly know in advance your feeding cost and stock 4 weeks in advance.
4. The attachement in my previous post clearly defines how many animals I must have each week/month to meet the target. If it is doable on paper, the I believe I should be able to achieve 75% of my target in the first year and then fully archieve 150% by the end of the second year.

For me, this is serious business, I have been to a number of farms and believe me, it is a joke. They hygiene level is nothing to write home about. I have also been to some farms whereby i could sit in the farm and actually eat, they wash their annimal twice a day. Ok I will send you some great pictures.
