Get your carburetor set by a carburetor expert not ordinary kazeem, I once experience it and they should check the efficiency of your fuel pump

Pls and pls Bros golf is a sensitive car, don't allow any mechanic to touch it anyhow, always make enquiry from volks users about a good mechanic before u open ur car for any repair, not all with mech cloths are mechs ooo, my motor oil (golf3) signal was just blinking on my way to ibadan I saw a road side mech to make an enquiry before u knw it the guy dn put hand for the kick starter side under, cos my car no polo engine, his hand melt some wires and blow up my kick starter components, get a carburetor specialist and take ur car there, make enquiry from people, I once experience this kind of a thing, even if u buy 10 carburetor it might give u the same result until they use one machine like dt to scan and set it. From my point of view these could be two potentially unrelated issues.

If it were my car I would do a proper compression test and remove and replace the oil pressure switch.

Exhaust smoke at WOT doesn't necessarily mean that your engine is toast. What color is the smoke? Are you loosing oil? Could it be a bad MAF?

thanks boss for your attention, the oil is not short o, and the smoke is mild, and pls what is MAF?

get a good mechanic to check it for you, cos polo engine mostly come in 1.6 engine.

Go for it, but check the engine very well, some people say golf 3 with polo engine is not that suitable.

Pls I don't know what's wrong with my golf 3 manual car, the engine oil keep alarming after a short distance acceleration, although the car is mildly smoking when totaly accelerated, the mechanic said d engine is weak that I should change it, pls kindly help me with your views.

Am also facing similar problem, I was travelling from lagos to ibadan and my engine oil icon on the dash board keep blinking,I don't realy know what's wrong, pls help me. The mechanic said the engine is weak cos it's smoking wen it is well accelerated.
