For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:14

The Revelation Of Righteousness Delivers

I give thanks to the Lord for all the testimonies I’ve received from precious lives touched by Jesus. Here’s one from a brother in Australia, who wrote to me to share how he had been delivered from multiple addictions as he started to hear and receive the revelation of his righteousness in Christ:

I have just given up smoking by doing what you’ve taught in your books and DVDs—becoming conscious of and confessing my righteousness in Christ—whenever I was tempted to smoke. I have also been set free from 20 years of drug and alcohol abuse, and am free of paranoid thoughts. I couldn’t give them up through my own efforts, but through Christ I have. Praise Jesus for His overcoming grace!

My friend, God’s provision covers all aspects of life, including deliverance from long-term addictions. When you continually receive God’s gifts of abundant grace, righteousness and no condemnation in Christ, you will walk in His power to reign over every addiction or condition holding you captive today!

Grace Revolution is the GOOD NEWS.And it has come to liberate Christians from the religion of self-effort.

I told someone that salvation is eternal;he gasped, saying "No!!". I quoted John3:16,he said it isn't the picture. He asked me,"what about christians that sin?" I told him, each time a christian sins, the blood of Jesus purifies him.Dude wasn't convinced. He said I shouldn't be deceived, that I should work out my salvation....the problem with some christian and their interpretation of scriptures;quoting a scripture out of context. He didn't read the verse that follows "walk out your salvation......." The verse which says,"it's God that WORKS in us to will and to act according to His good purpose....."
Anyway, let the wind of grace blow over the church to set the church free from every comma that has been added to Christ finished work.
You are very correct my dear. Am so happy that you know the TRUTH

HealthCan Mixing Malt And Milk Give Blood? by jiggaz(op): 9:25am On Sep 11, 2017
Does Mixture of Malt and Milk Give Blood? This question was directed to me which i quickly sent to a doctor and the question says ‘can mixing malt and milk give blood?’ and some of the fact which was gathered during the health talk was used develop this post. My answer to this question is a capital ‘YES’ based on the following reasons which are discussed as you read on with this post.

There are many reasons why people may need instant blood which includes surgical operation, childbirth, hemorrhoids, menstruation, wounds, emergency accident, cut and many more. If you find yourself in this kind of situation, instead of going for blood transfusion or taking blood which may be slow at that moment, you can mix milk and malt together, drink for instant blood replenishment.

The reason why the mixture of malt and milk gives blood includes;

1. Based on History; one of the reasons why the mixture of milk and malt gives instant blood is based on the result gotten from this based on history. I have noticed this even when I was still much younger than this that anybody that go to the hospital for blood donation or shortage of blood is to mix malt and milk together for such person and the person get instant relief and the blood content begin to increase gradually.

2. Calcium; another reason why the mixture of malt and milk work well for blood is because of the high calcium content in the milk. Milk contains calcium and the main function of calcium is strong bone and healthy teeth with more production of blood through the bone marrow since that is where blood is produced and the calcium contents in milk help to secret more.

3. Iron; just like I said earlier on how milk contain calcium which helps produce more blood to the body, the same way the malt also contain some enzymes that helps in the secretion of blood in the bone marrow and it also helps in the circulation of blood from the heart to other part of the body. So, it is advisable to mix milk and milk for instant blood either as a man or woman.

4. Proteins; protein foods are body building foods that also builds the body and also repair worn out tissues in the body. But not only that, some protein foods like milk and malt also enhance the secretion of blood from the body which helps to replenish lost blood instantly as quick as possible because the proteins are broken down amino acids which is easily used up by the body cells.

In conclusion, these are the four reasons why the mixture of malt and milk gives blood and you shouldn’t be scared of it. Both malt and milk contains proteins that build the body, calcium also helps in the synthesis of blood, malt and milk contain iron which is the basis of blood and based on history that its being working for years and still works till now. Thanks for reading.

KEPT IN ALL YOUR WAYS BY GOD’S ANGELS

Psalm 91:11–12

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You are about to step onto the road when something pulls you back just in time to avoid being hit by a speeding car. You are shocked. When you come to your senses, you ask yourself, “Could it be that an angel just saved me from a fatal accident?”

I believe that angels walk with us. The verse tells us that God has given His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. And in their hands they will bear us up, so that not even a stone will trip us up.

But we may not know it when we encounter an angel. (Hebrews 13:2) This was probably the case with a couple in our church who were holidaying at a beach resort on Penang Island when a tsunami struck at about 12.30pm on 26 December 2004.

It was slightly past 11am when the wife suddenly had a craving for food from the mainland. The couple decided to check out earlier, so that they could reach the mainland in time for lunch. While loading their luggage into their car at the hotel driveway, a man impatiently motioned to them to hurry up and get moving.

Annoyed by his impatience, they quickly loaded their stuff and drove off. The minute they reached the mainland, they heard that a tsunami had struck Penang Island at the same beach where they were just a while ago. While thanking God for their narrow escape, it suddenly dawned on them that the impatient man could have been an angel charged by God to hurry them off!

God tells us that we have an innumerable company of angels. (Hebrews 12:22) And He has given them charge over us to protect us from accidents, natural disasters, terrorist bombings and other dangers. So don’t fear these things and lock yourself at home. Go for that holiday! Go for that lunch appointment! Believe that God loves you, and thank Him for His angels who walk with you and watch over you!

Thought For The Day

Don’t fear what the world fears because God loves you, and His angels walk with you and watch over you!

Christianity EtcRe: The Parable Of The Ten Virgins - Jack Kelley by jiggaz(op): 6:24pm On Sep 10, 2017
mangood74:
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

” ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
“Later the others also came. ‘Sir! Sir!’ they said. ‘Open the door for us!’

“But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t know you.’
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour
(Matt. 25:1-13 ).

What ’ s That All About ?

This parable is often incorrectly described as having to do with the church, especially by those who cling to the post-tribulation rapture viewpoint. Let’s apply some standard rules of interpretation to see what it really means.

As for the timing of the event, there’s little debate since it’s clearly disclosed. The opening phrase “At that time” refers to several earlier references in the Olivet Discourse all pointing back to Matthew 24:29 which says, “Immediately after the distress (tribulation) of those days…”

This verse of course refers to the Great Tribulation. It’s a 3 1/2 year long sequence of judgments begun by the appearance of the “abomination that causes desolation, standing in the Holy Place,” commonly thought to be the anti-christ standing in the newly rebuilt Jewish Temple in Israel proclaiming himself to be god. Paul prophesied this in 2 Thes. 2:4 .

So the timing of the parable is just after the end of the Great Tribulation, when what’s left of the world awaits the appearance of Messiah, the King. But notice, they’ve been waiting a long time, implying that the story actually began much earlier, and is now concluding.

The parable centers around 10 virgins, or bridesmaids depending on which translation you prefer, awaiting the appearance of a bridegroom. The Greek word is parthenos, which always describes someone who has never had sexual intercourse. The use of the word bridesmaid comes from an attempt by translators to adhere to the context of the story. But in any case, here’s where some knowledge of 1st century Jewish wedding traditions comes in handy.

Can I Marry Her?

In those days when a man took a fancy to a young woman, he approached her father to ask for her hand in marriage. A brief negotiation followed where the price he was required to pay as compensation for the family’s loss of their daughter was determined. It was called the bride price. If acceptable, and if the daughter agreed to become the man’s wife, they were officially betrothed and he went away to build a home for them next to his father’s house. This could take some time, and the couple rarely met again until the father of the groom pronounced the newly built home fit for habitation. Only then was the date set, and the man given permission by his father to go collect his bride for the wedding.

During this time the young woman was to watch and wait. She and her bridesmaids were to maintain a constant state of preparedness, since the wedding date would not be known to her until the bridegroom actually appeared. For his part, the groom would usually try to show up unexpectedly to surprise her, carrying her off suddenly “like a thief in the night” when no one would see them. When the bridesmaids discovered the bride had been “snatched away” there would be a great torch-lit procession, announcing to the whole town that the wedding banquet was about to begin. This was typically a seven day celebration during which the bride and groom were hidden away in their private rooms while the whole town made merry. The father of the groom picked up the tab for the festivities.

I Can See Clearly Now

Against the backdrop of this tradition, the meaning becomes clear when we insert the actual characters that those in the parable represent. To do this, we’ll rely on the principle of expositional constancy, from which we learn that symbolism in scripture tends to be consistent. For example, whenever yeast is used symbolically it always refers to sin, while symbolic use of the word rock always refers to the Lord, etc.

All through the scriptures, whenever the term bridegroom is used symbolically, it always refers to the Lord. And no one argues that the Bride of Christ is uniquely descriptive of the church. Obviously, the bridesmaids are not the Bride so they can’t represent the church. In fact, the Bride is never mentioned anywhere in the parable, and in any case could never be refused admittance to her own wedding banquet. She was obviously spirited away earlier while the bridesmaids slept. The bridesmaids represent people on Earth during the Great Tribulation after the church has gone.

Got Oil ?

Now it’s time for the wedding banquet but some bridesmaids lack sufficient oil to light the way. Asking to borrow some from their friends they’re refused, since there might not be enough to go around, and are sent off to buy some for themselves. By the time they return, the banquet has already begun, the door is closed and they’re denied admission, the bridegroom claiming that he doesn’t even know them.

Checking on the symbolic use of oil, we find it refers to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a gift uniquely given to believers at the moment of salvation. You can’t get it for others nor can they give any of theirs to you. Each of us has to receive it by ourselves and for ourselves.

During the Church Age the Holy Spirit is sealed within believers as a guarantee of our inheritance. But no such guarantee is mentioned for Tribulation believers (Rev. 14:12 ). In fact Rev. 16:15 specifically warns them to stay awake and maintain their righteousness, symbolized by keeping their clothes with them. (Clothing is often used to represent righteousness, as in Isaiah 61:10 ). Rev. 16:15 implies that Tribulation believers are responsible for remaining steadfast in their faith to avoid losing their salvation. Matt. 25:8 agrees, telling us that all 10 virgins had oil in their lamps at the beginning, but the five foolish ones didn’t have enough to carry them through.

All 10 bridesmaids fell asleep and their lamps were in danger of going out. Only 5 had the ability to replenish their lamps with oil they had brought, and they refused to lend any to the others.

The 5 bridesmaids with oil represent those who will have given their hearts to the Lord during the tribulation period after the Church has gone and stayed faithful, while those without it symbolize others who haven’t. Only those who’ve remained faithful will be invited in.

What ’ s That Supposed To Mean ?

So what does the parable mean? First of all, I’m convinced it’s not trying to hint at the timing of the Rapture. I believe it’s sole purpose is to serve as one of the clearest warnings the Lord ever gave to those He would find still on Earth when He returns, and that’s to make sure they remain faithful and ready to receive Him no matter how long they have to wait.

When the Lord comes back at the End of the Age, He’ll find both believers and unbelievers present on Earth. Having previously spirited His bride (the church) away, He’ll now decide who among the Tribulation survivors should be allowed to participate in the blessings of His Kingdom, using the presence of the Holy Spirit in each one’s life as the determining factor. Those in whom the Spirit resides when He returns are invited in but those without it will be excluded.

Because just as importantly, the parable teaches that His return signals the deadline after which even the request to be saved and receive the Holy Spirit will be denied. (The foolish virgins, as the story calls them, were on their way to replenish their oil when the bridegroom arrived.) The door will be closed, and the Lord will deny ever knowing those who’ve come too late.

By not remaining faithful, these tribulation believers, who are not part of the Church, will have disqualified themselves from participation in the kingdom. Once everyone sees the Lord returning on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory, the opportunity for them to restore their salvation will have ended. Salvation has always been by faith and faith is being sure of what we hope for, and certain of what we de-ten-virgins/[/

Christianity EtcPursue Righteousness - Steve Edwards by jiggaz(op): 6:18pm On Sep 10, 2017
Flee from youthful passions. Instead, pursue righteousness…

(2 Tim 2:22)

When Paul tells Timothy to ‘pursue righteousness’ what does he mean?

He can’t be telling him to get his ‘own’ righteousness. He can’t be telling him that his own efforts will ‘add to’ his righteousness. Paul believed that the righteousness he had recieved from God was a ‘gift.’

Not having a righteousness of my own that comes from obeying the law, but…a righteousness that comes from God!

(Philippians 3:9)

and

…how much more will those who recieve God’s abundant proivision of grace and the gift of righteousness, reign in life!

(Romans 5:17)

So what does Paul mean by pursue righteousness?

Let’s look at the word ‘righteousness’ as Paul used it, in Greek.

Firstly, according to Bible Hub: the word is dikaiosuné (pronounced: dik-ah-yos-oo’-nay) and can also be translated as justice, which gives the verse an entirely different meaning.

Secondly, dikaiosuné means the righteosuness of which God is the source or author: a divine righteousness.

The word also means “a judicial verdict” or judicial approval.

It means the verdict of approval.

The approval of God.

Divine approval.

It means what is deemed right by the Lord (after His examination), i.e. what is approved in His eyes.

Paul knew that He was approved by God.

Paul knew that according to God’s court of law the verdict on him was the verdict of approval. Divine approval. He knew that he was approved by God, even though he called himself the ‘chief of sinners.’

And he knew that it wasn’t anything to do with his attempts to obey the law. It was because of Christ. Paul knew he was approved because Christ is approved – that he was the righteousness of Christ.

Christ our righteousness.

(1 Cor 1:30)

None of our efforts to ‘be righteous’ has any effect on our approval, on our standing before God.

We cannot gain God’s approval by good works. In fact, Isaiah says ‘all our righteous acts are as filthy rags’ compared to the righteousness God has given us as a free gift.

God has approved us, because Christ took our sin and consumed it on the cross.

This is the only way we can stand approved before God. This is the only way we can get a verdict of divine approval.

We can not earn our way out of hell. We each deserve to spend eternity apart from our loving Creator God because we have chosen sin over relationship with Him. Yet, because of His great love for us, He reached out to us, suffered the eternal consequences of our sin (death) in our place that we might live forever with Him.

He did it all. This is why Jesus cried out from the cross It is Finished.

He didn’t say ‘It is almost finished. Now it’s up to them to do their part. God, I hope they can sort their lives out and be good.’

Then what was the point of dying on that rugged cross?

No.

The cross was the end of sin for all who believe.

Christ put away sin on the cross.

He ‘did away’ with it according to the writer of Hebrews.

We are no longer sinners. We are the righteousness of Christ.

We stand approved by God, not because of anything we have done or do – but because of what Christ did.

The sooner Christians understand that NOTHING they do can earn any gold stars from God, the sooner they can enter His amazing rest.

The sooner Christians stop preaching that we must struggle and strive to overcome our sin, the sooner we can all enter His rest.

Christ overcame sin on the cross.

He did it.

It is finished.

Nothing in all creation can separate us from God’s love.

What we see when we sees Jesus, God sees when He sees us.

When we sin God doesn’t say

Oh no, not again! What is the matter with these people. My Son died for them and they just keep on sinning as if nothing happened. When are they going to get their acts together?

No. He doesn’t say that.

What did Paul say when he was struggling?

The things I want to do I don’t do, but what I hate I do! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord!

(Romans 7:7-25)

Paul doesn’t look to himself to overcome sin and stop his wrong actions, he thanks God through Jesus Christ for dying in his place and taking his sin and crucifying it on the cross.

So, to return to our original question, what does Paul mean by ‘pursue’ righteousness?

My personal favorite definition of the word ‘pursue’ is ‘to set into flight.’

When I first became a Christian and realized I was a child of God, a prince, a son of The King of Kings, I felt like a cub who just found out he was a lion. Or a baby bird who had just found out he was an eagle !

Knowing who we are in Christ, holy, perfect, and glowing with His beauty and majesty, is like being an ugly duckling suddenly discovering we are Swans.

When Paul tells Timothy to pursue righteousness he is asking him to ‘set into flight’ the righteousness he has already received from God as a free gift.

So let us set into flight our righteousness, the divine righteousness we have received from God.

For we who trust in The Lord (and not in our own ability) will renew our strength.

We will rise on wings like eagles!
