They won't, but it still shows the gesture that you're financially prepared. Sorry for replying late...haven't been here for a while Crich: 1 Like |

Depends on the border officer there. It is unlikely they ask you for financial proof, but you should be with your atm card to show you have access to funds. Also have the address of your destination. invincible2006: |

Hello. I do not advise you use your uncle. It may seem like you aim at getting a PR through a study route. VOs frown at that. Using a Nigerian account would be better. Bimbolamelo: 2 Likes |

@Dchris,send it to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca. I would've recommended the case-specific link, but it's currently under maintenance.Include your details in the mail, such as date of birth and numbers that identify your application. They will get it but they won't reply, just an auto response. |

Depends on your relationship with the person. Documents that evidence the relationship such as previous financial support will do , and most times emphasis on same in the sponsorship letter is prudent.Be sure to provide documents that show your connection and history with the person. anita4real: Hello, |

Either SOP or LOI/LOE, not both. SOP is in form of Essay while LOI/LOE is in form of a letter. Both explain your intentions or purpose.Just use one, don't worry yourself about the terminologies. vanrichie4u: |

Congrats, and you're right about the new law! The difference between pre-June 1 and post-June 1 applicants is just the application for work permit, otherwise called authorisation. For those that applied before June 1, they have to apply for authorisation, and then later for the SIN. For those that apply on or after June 1, they are automatically authorised once TRV is issued, so they only apply for the SIN when they land Canny. Peeps can read the law on the CIC website. What questions and/or documents did they ask you at the POE? abisolmi: Look guys, 1 Like |

Apply from UK. Make sure you submit your Uk Visa alongside other required documents. You should also write a good SOP to clear the air about any doubts as to why you want to further in Canada. olayanjuke: |

Naaa. First, your introduction is too general. You should be introducing yourself and why you're going to Canada. A Letter of Intent must show peculiarities. Second, what you wrote in your statement of purpose has nothing to do with purpose...purpose means circustances that drive your interest in your proposed area of study.what are your academic and research interests. You layed too much emphasis on career, when you shoud be stressing academics and research. This is not a work permit application.Third, it's interesting that you said your dad's company wants to sponsor you. On what ground? Is that where you currently work? If not, they don't have a basis. If it is, then you should be using the company's accounts and documents as primary sponsorship proof. Your dad could come in as a co-sponsor. Many other things are missing. Why did you choose Canada? Why did you choose the school? What do you hope to achieve with your proposed training? Cufs: 1 Like |

So sorry bro, list your documents. The 2 issues are purpose and home ties. Peeps here will do justice to it and you'll smile at last. Cheers. dulux07: |

Since you claim you're working, why didn't you include documents proving that such as promotion letter, pay slips, tax clearance, account etc? This is more important where U sponsor yourself, but it's also important where U claim to be working.A work I'd and Employment letter aren't sufficient to show that.Since you're working, they expect you to have a substantial amount in your account. Moreover, was there a study-leave letter? Without it,then it means you're absconding from work. On your proposed employer, did you show proof that it's a genuine venture e.g. C of I, Tax clearance and so on? Is the proposed letter of employment or invitation to treat detailed enough. Then, why did you state that your sister would house you? That sounds like you're absconding more than that you're going to study. Even if you have to mention that, you must give very strong reasons such as special health conditions or needs, which may need proof. It may not be sufficient to show that your parent's have properties.Properties can prove both finance and home tie.Just showing they have them proves their financial capacity, but not home tie for you. As a woman who may get married or already married, why would your parents' properties make you come back to Nigeria? How well did you articulate issues in your Letter of Intent? Keep in mind it's always better to 'overprove' than 'underprove'! Brighter minds will add to these. Cufs: |

Sorry about your delay. List your documents. The reasons show 2 things you didn't prove well-purpose and home tie.

|
