Teerach: This could have been easily avoided. Don't allow people push you into a fight that's not yours. Now where's the US when Ukraine needs them? No where. This is what happens in our everyday life. People fighting battles that's actually not their from the onset. May God grant us wisdom to deal wisely with men. True but then again did they really have a choice? What was the alternative? Stay neutral in the face of Russia continued aggression. Russia annexed Crimea, supported the rebel groups in the east of Ukraine. Russia already had an aggressive posture against Ukraine. It didn't just start now that they want to join NATO. It was this aggressive posture that made them want to join NATO so has to stop the circle of endless bullying by the Russians. So everyone is to be blamed really. And they all had reasons for sticking to their guns. |

Do you think Russia is willing to risk a WW3 with almost the whole world against them?. Well at least we have concluded your red line was shit. Even Russia all but concluded that already by attacking Ukraine. And the question you should be asking isn't if Russia is willing to risk WW3. Putin has already made his stance on that very clear. The question you should be asking is if NATO is willing to risk WW3 by interfering. So it's clear that they aren't. Could that change in the future? Only time will tell. But my bet is on it not changing. |

Even if NATO fails to send support to Ukraine, EU should stand with Ukraine with all her might. Sleepy Joe is a coward. Trump would never What will Trump do? What can the EU do? You don't poke at a nuclear powered state anyhow. Is why China and US with all their gragra didn't do anything because both sides are nuclear powered states. Same way as mad has Putin is he can't attack a NATO country. Because he will be poking at the nuclear power that is the US and it's allies. These are basic stuffs. The only thing the US could have done would have been to secretly get Ukraine's permission to send troops in and do so days before Russia invades. The presence of US troops in numbers in Ukraine will have given Russia pause. They won't have been able to invade to avoid a direct conflict with another nuclear powered state. But is too late now. |

This war didn't start in isolation. NATO, Ukraine and Russia all played active roles in the conflict you see today. If only one side relaxed their hard-line this won't be happening. So there's enough blame to go around. People putting ego and not wanting to be seen as weak is the reason, innocent Ukrainians are under seige. |

Now do you think Russia can risk attacking UK in this situation knowing what will follow?. Your red line was Russia can't attack Ukraine. Is Ukraine part of NATO? Why will Russia attack UK in this situation? Are UK forces in Ukraine? Is the UK planning to send military forces to Ukraine? Why were NATO members (which include US by the way because you somehow think when I say NATO I am excluding the US) warning their citizens to leave Ukraine and that they won't be sending any military personnel to help them if they are still there when Russia invades? You keep saying Russia can't risk this and that when it's clear NATO members aren't even ready to risk the same thing as well. Because if either side does it, it's game over for everyone. |

If a full blown war starts do you think Russia will overpower the US, UK, France, Germany, Israel, and other European allies put together?. Russia cannot directly attack kini. You people will just siddon in your house and be forming red lines for Putin. FERNANDEZISBACK: No one is underestimating them but judging by their military capability they are in no match to survive a full blown war against NATO..
For anyone who has some knowledge on military issues, the question should have been if Russia has any chance to stand against NATO for more than a week.
We don't live in 1942 where comrade Stalin orders the slaves to work non stop and produce 80.000 T 34 tanks. It wouldn't be any good even if Russians had a million tanks. That's the reason they're not producing in quantity T 14 Armata. In modern warfare the key to victory is air superiority. That's a field where Russians lack behind 30 - 40 years in technology,at least. They had to get targeting pods for their jets and thermal vision for their tanks from France... Another thing is how long can they keep fighting when they are still struggling with their economy.. Pu*tin is considerate and wouldn't wanna engage himself in a war against NATO or USA.. casualties from both sides especially Russia is gonna be fatal.. Lol you think a war between Russia and NATO will last a week? It won't even last a day. Russia has enough nukes to nuke every member of NATO multiple times. So in a day two tops every NATO country and Russia will be uninhabitable. That's what Putin meant when he said there will be no winners. |

mrphysics: I forgot to add @FERNANDEZISBACK, when in 2 years back, US refused China from joining the ISS, China built theirs and launched to the space and will within the year or next year launch the first human to their own International Space Station.
My point is, Russia and China are moving towards independence as they move towards over coming America in terms of military. These countries devote more finance in building military weapon and training their soldiers than they do in trying to boost their economy. Russians as not as happy or as free as Americans, however, they have complete loyalty to their countries.
So let's stop underestimating them bro, unless EU, NATO, or US gives Russia evidence in writing that Ukraine will NEVER join NATO, invading Ukraine might be a foregone conclusion. The thing is the people that matter don't underestimate them. Did you see Biden's comment about Russia military strength when he was telling Americans in Ukraine to leave. Did you see how quickly France and Germany tried to salvage the situation when the temperature was getting very hot. These people know the strength of Russia and they don't underestimate them at all. Its nairaland keyboard warriors with their western media brain that believe Russia na small pikin. US that have a standing military command for their forces to never engage Russian military in any form are mad. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: USA, EU & UK Impose First Stage Sanctions On Russia by jikins(m): 7:39am On Feb 22, 2022 |
chucks4sure: NATO invaded Iraq and Libya and destroyed these countries and assisted rebels in Syria with everything they could to overturn a legitimate government of Syria. All those countries are Russia allies.
What of Afghanistan they also invaded it and put their cronies there. We have eastern and western bloc. Russia and China are the big eastern bloc countries plus other countries.
The western bloc comprises NATO mainly. The western bloc has upper hand because of the collapse of Soviet union. NATO was formed during the cold war between USA and Soviet union Some European countries entered alliances with America for protection in case of war, they were afraid of Soviet union headed by Russia.
Ukraine was part Soviet republic that has borders with Russia. Now Ukraine wants to be a member of NATO. That means America and NATO can now station thier Army and war base at the backyard of Russia. Russia can not allow that no matter what. And is ready to go into full scale war. Remember that Russia is a very powerful nuclear war head producer and has a number that can erase the whole of NATO countries. China too has a very big number of nuclear war heads has entered alliance with Russia. NATO can't go to war because of Ukraine that is not a member of NATO. During the cold war Cuba having borders with America( separated by water ) allowed Soviet Union to plant 72 nuclear war heads at their borders and were pointed towards America. America wanted to invade Cuba that would have led to 3rd world war. Soviet dismantled the war for sake of peace. Now America and his allies NATO is gradually urging Ukraine to become a member of NATO. Ukraine having borders with Russia, can led to unfortunate events.
Economically Russia has an edge in the area of gas which most NATO countries depend on them for supplies. That is why Germany and France are not supporting the sanctions drumming by America and Uk.
Ukraine should forget NATO membership for now for sake of peace. If not they will lose their sovereignty. I want to educate some people that don't know what is happening but will want to comment ignorantly. Before you begin to condemn Russia understand what is happening. Russia is fighting for their security. When NATO and co invade other countries it is justified no sanctions. When they support rebel groups in other countries sending weapons and stuff, its perfectly fine. When Russia does the same, its suddenly all wrong, they should be sanctioned. |

And Russia will not remain the same. You do know the Germans annexed Austria before Poland and the UK and France did nothing. Poopypants: so in essence let the big countries continue bullying small countries with reckless abandon. If you are against all big countries doing this, then you have a point. But if you're supporting or even trying to defend the US who have been doing this shit all over history then you have no point. Let me ask you this. Do you think the US will allow Mexico become allies with Russia and let Russia troops and nukes be stationed in Mexico? Things doesn't just happen in vaccum. Both sides have a reason for acting the way they do. Many people think this conflict will lead to WW3. But no, not even close. US and her allies know they won't be winning any WW3. As everyone will lose. The Cuba missile crisis was the closest we have ever gotten to a WW3. We only missed it by a small mile. If US were so aggressive against Russia nukes and military being in their back yard. Doesn't it sound to reason Russia will and should react the same way? But Ukraine self do have a point for joining NATO. As they feel powerless against Russia especially after the annexation of Crimea. Joining NATO will strengthen them and make Russia actually think twice before trying to repeat another Crimea. But Putin nor send anybody papa, he will invade them if they try to join NATO. And if NATO should pass a resolution to attack Russia, welll you watched his press interview with the French president where he essentially said the moment that happens he will nuke every member of NATO. Ensuring no one wins. |

gistray: HELLO This is pretty straightforward in JS. Shouldn't take you more than 10 lines of code if you use array and string methods. Using the 1st example First you reverse the arrays, then join them together to form a single string so [ 2, 4, 3 ] will become "342". After which you convert the string to number. Add both numbers together which should give you 807 Then convert the answer back to a string. Split it into an array so 807 becomes ["8", "0", "7"]. Reverse it then convert each member of the array from a string back to a number Heres the code. const solve = (arr1, arr2) => { const no1 = Number(arr1.reverse().join("" ) ) const no2 = Number(arr2.reverse().join("" ) ) const ans = no1 + no2 return String(ans).split("" ).reverse().map(Number) } |
