Look at how APC almost lost election in Osun, compare it to how PDP won easily in Abia state despite poor governance there. Then ask, are the Igbos voting PDP in Abia truly supporting PDP taking over Osun so that Osun can get good governance?
I have close Igbo friends. I mean very good guys. But when it comes to politics, they all want PDP to win in Abia but APC to fail in Osun

It would have been late if Obaseki defected and got the ticket after he had participated in APC primary and lost to Ize Iyamu. In this case, Obaseki registered as a member of PDP. PDP in exercise of its powers waved off the requirement to have been a member of the party for a period of time. PDP also exercised its deadline for sale of its party's nomination form and screening.
