I am no fan of GEJ, but for the manner they handled the South Africa issue, I say welldone.

They are both engaging and addictive, but tribal comments on NL often put me off

I agree about the North needing development, but I am surprised that the Americans are feigning ignorance of the fact that Nothernerl ruled the country for like 20 years consecutively and what they left behind is this seemingly parasitic , violent, uneducated Nothern Nigeria.

This is nonsense, number of ghost workers in Lagos public service or any other state of the federation is in tens of thousands. Biometrics we wipe out this payroll fraud, but they will never implement it because they are also the beneficiaries of the frauds.

Well, I dont have details of this issue, but I think after adjusting for 13% derivation and  Amnesty pprogramme, every other thing should be shared equally.

This is where are missing it, I missed an opportunity to learn how to repair aintain Note Counting machines, because I felt it wasnt cool since I was already training as an Accountant. I later worked in a place where I saw the technician who  repairs note counters being paid heavily while I was totally dissatisfied with my own salary.

It is no longer news that the 'underwear bomber' has now been sentenced to multiple life sentences. However, there are precedents that support the fact that the nation can actual move to save the boy from going to prison. The lockerbie bomber's case readily comes to mind, el-marghai was released from scottish prison over the deaths of hundreds of people, we were also told that el-marghai was suffering from cancer and will die within months. The guy is still alive till today. Dick Cheney, VP to George Bush was actually indicted in Haliburton bribery scandal and Nigeria issued an international warrant of arrest on him, but US settled Nigeria and he was left alone. Based on the foregoing, there is a diplomatic window for saving this boy. The fact that the father reported is son to CIA also creates a good plaform for clemency. The question is ,should we save the boy or not?

This is madness, we all watched the presentation of GMD -NNPC during House of Reps probe of Fuel Subsidy Payments. The man expressed his frustration on security of pipelines, that Shell had abandoned several pipelines as a result of persistent vandalization. He futher asserted that even when you arrest any of the vandals, the police will release them the next day. GEJ Administration has not addressed the security issues, he just want to buy pipes with borrowed funds. We are going back to the streets if try anything of such.

I agree with CBN absolutely,I was at Uyo in November last year, shocked to see fly overs everywhere even, roads to villages were tarred. Though I am very much aware that he is looting as well, but Delta state has similar receiepts from Fedration account,yet they can not boast of so much infrastructural development.The rest should learn how to work too and not chopping only.
