RIP to the brave Soldier, but El Rufai and his APC cohort should bear the brunt of the Widow upkeep, they are not doing enough to put an end to Boko Haram, they are paying Lip service to the Fight. They openly boasted during the Campaigns that they will Defeat Boko Haram within Six Months, but today the Deadly Group is Far from being Defeated, in fact, they are Killing our brave soldiers in droves almost on a daily basic. Sharp lesson to APC, don’t politicize The Fight Against Terror, Terrorist are Party Blind.

The Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, on Thursday visited the home of the late Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali at the Millennium City, Kaduna, to commiserate with the family.
Col. Abu-Ali, the Commanding Officer of the 272 Special Task Force Battalion and six soldiers were killed during an attack by the Boko Haram insurgents at Mallam Matori, Borno State, on November 4, 2016.
El-Rufai prayed for the soul of the deceased and the soldiers that lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
The governor also urged Nigerians to support families of all the soldiers that lost their lives in the course of defending the sovereignty of the country.
He described the late officer and soldiers in the battle of Malam Matori as gallant and courageous fellows who would ever be remembered.
Late Col. Ali’s wife in brown attire with children and other family members when Gov. el-Rufai paid them a condolence visit in Kaduna on Thursday.
El-Rufai said, “I am here to condole with the wife and children of our gallant and courageous military officer, Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali and other soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice for the sovereignty and integrity of the Nigerian State.
“From what we have been hearing about Muhammad Abu Ali from his colleagues and Nigerians, it is a confirmation that Muhammad was a patriot, a gentleman, a man of humility, who lived and died for Nigeria and humanity. May the almighty God grant his soul eternal rest.
“I am using this opportunity to appeal to Nigerians to support families of our heroes; they need our prayers, support and care. We should always identify with them and show them love. They need our inspiration and compassion in view of sacrifices their breadwinnersmade for our survival.”
Alhaji Muhammadu Haruna, who received the governor on behalf of the family, thanked the governor for commiserating with the family. http://punchng.com/el-rufai-visits-late-col-alis-widow-seeks-support-family/

Politics › Edo Leaders Vow To Resist Attempt To Remove Oyegun by Jirate(op): 3:56am On Nov 11, 2016 |
BENIN CITY—THE Concerned Edo Leaders of Thought, CELT, yesterday described as arrant nonsense, the call for the removal of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, asserting that it would resist any attempt to force the former Permanent Secretary out of office.
While declaring their support for Chief Oyegun, the group declared that those calling for his resignation were doing so based on their selfish interest and not because the APC national chairman had not performed. In a statement signed by the President of the group, Col Paul Ogbebor (rtd), made available to Vanguard, described the allegation that Chief Oyegun compromised in the Ondo governorship primaries of the APC as untrue “and they cannot force the chairman out of office through amorphous organizations who are peddling lies.
“Nigerians are aware that no one can be blamed for the current problems besetting the APC and indeed the nation’s economy. To do otherwise is an attempt to give a dog a bad name in order to hang it.”
The statement added that those agitating for the removal of Odigie-Oyegun over the Ondo primaries should have explored the constitution of the party “and not through the papers just to tarnish the image of a man who has worked so hard to keep the party together.
The group further urged the leaders of the party including Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to join hands with the chairman to return the party “to the path of constitutionalism as opposed to the rule of one godfather and his collaborators by learning to channel their grievances through appropriate channels for redress.” www.vanguardngr.com/2016/11/edo-leaders-vow-resist-attempt-remove-oyegun/
