FamilyRe: What Is The Value Of A Woman Who Can't Cook? by JJay1(m): 3:03pm On Jun 11, 2007
It gets to my nerve when guys complain of pot belly and would still drink a dozen bottle of beer and finish eba made from a "kongo" of gari and would never step into the gym to keep fit. Most guys in Naija have never entered a gym before despite their level of education and exposure, but they are regulars at all the beer parlours and clubs in the evenings.

Marry your soulmates, not the best cook in the village. Chikena, And before guys starts running their mouth, Im a guy as well

Its way cheaper for you to do the training in Thailand, India or South Africa. Also you shouldnt limit your training to Banking as this is just a tiny sub-module of FI, you are way better off with an end to end FICO academy which brighten your chances a great deal.

Go to sap.com/education, and check the full details of the consultant education curricullum. There are "mushroom" training centres in London at the moment. Trust me you want to avoid those, the guys that teach there hardly knows their left from right and you need a certified training especially when your interest is FICO

intune, if the bible say you shouldnt be unequally yoked with unbelivers, that doesnt point in the direction of muslims as muslims are not unbelievers. The bible expressly stated unbelievers to be idol worshippers.

Muslim practice a religion called ISLAM, which is an arabic word with english literal meaning as "total submission to the will of God"

God made Abraham "the father of a great multitude" and if you do your research well you will know that the site where Abraham was buried in Isreal is shared among 16 different religious faiths of which Christians, Muslims and Jews are among,

I have come accross many christians that will never marry a "Cele" person and these are also fellow Christians. I used to have an Igbo colleague that was disowned by his catholic father for marrying an Anglican. And also another friend that her Anglican father was actually murdered by his kinsmen for allowing her daughter to marry a Catholic, still Igbo.

Have you guys ever wondered why God allows His sunshine and rains for everyone irrespective of age, race, sex, faith or colour. If God doesnt discriminate, who the hell are you to?

Its time we let education remove the babarism in our thinking
Christianity EtcRe: Interfaith Marriages? by JJay1(m): 3:28pm On May 15, 2007
Lafile, I will only not regard you as "IGNORAMUS" only if you quote which verses in the bible that say muslim husband is hell bound and the verse in the Koran that states xtian wife is hell-bound.

You said you wonder how a muslimand xtian couple live happily together, because they probably got what you dont have, LOVE
Christianity EtcRe: Interfaith Marriages? by JJay1(m): 1:20pm On May 14, 2007
If you let difference in Religion destroy your marriage/relationship, it will. But if you realise that it is the same God that created Xtians, Muslims, Jew, Indu etc you will know that its a mere classification.

Im a practising muslim married to an ordained pastor lady and we actually dated for about 7 years before getting married and funningly religion has not and will not be an issue, as long as we raise the kids in the righteous path to respect people of other colour, faith and denominations especially living in a city like London which is the largest collection of people of different faith and race.

We also have a sign at the door that "Our home welcomes all people colours, races or faith, as long as they have peace and love in their minds"

Let me also add that couples in same faith is not a determinant of the success or failure of the marriage, more than 95% of the divorce in the UK and the US in the last 50 years are between couples of same religion. Its all about how you live your lives and not bare the intricasies of your marriage to the view of the whole world. Most people are tend to give shallow and wrong advises

Are the Yorubas any better educated currently than the Igbo? I think not. They just had the advantage that Awo's policy during the civil war provided. Others, Igbos in particular, have overtaken the Yoruba in education and are INCREASINGLY bridging the gap that Awo's

Chrisokw, if you dust your history books, you will find that the present Delta and Edo States were part of the old Western Region (old Bendel) that was under the premiership of Late Awolowo. And those people also had same access to free education just like any other person in the Western Region. Hence the reason we have proffessional millitants in some part and we have proffessional "proffessionals" in some other part. So if the Yorubas embraced that free education and the Niger deltans didnt, how can you blame the Yorubas?

Remember education is power, not the millitants' arms and ammunitions

If you are so agrieved on having Yorubas and hausas running the show in the oil and gas sector, then tell your folks to start going to school and invest immensely in education and training of their medulla oblongata. That way they will be able to apply in an equal opportunity world

I have been a Certfified SAP Consultant (Independent contractor) for 5 years and have been fortunate to worked in about a couple of implementations for about 6 different companies in the top FTSE companies. My background is in Functional FICO but I have been specializing in Oil & Gas for about 2.5 years now.

I have seen quite a few good advices and a few misconception as well.

It is true that the UK SAP market here is about the highest paying in the global SAP market (contractors I mean as cant say for the guys in permamnent roles) but you will need to understand that getting into the SAP market is probably a most difficult hurdle, but not impossible. I have seen dozens of people and friends that want come into the SAP world simply because they see someone driving big cars and other stuffs like that, but it doesnt work out for most guys that reason this way. You need to have building a proper career in mind and that will go a long way in nurturing your determination to succeed.

Trust me when I tell you that more than 70% of people that have written SAP certification exams (FICO) failed it, and this has nothing to do with being brilliant in school or not. You just have to be damn good and be very well prepared, and that is just the starting point of the whole race compared to being good enough to pick a job which is even nothing compared to keeping that job.

Make sure you go to a proper training academy and you can always check with www.sap.com/education if the training academy is certified. There are quite a number of phoney SAP training schools here in London that are just there for the money they will collect from students who are mostly unaware 'whats' and 'what nots'. I recommend that you ask whichever academy that does your money include the certification exams and know that they are mushroom and unqualified ithey say no.

I honestly do not know an oil&gas exploration company in the world that does not use SAP ( I have worked in the 3 of the biggest oil companies and presently work for one in London which is probably the biggest and the most know, at least in Nigeria) and most big companies, whether oil, finance and manufacturing are following suit.

The module to study is best best based on your academic background but its not sacrosant that because you made a first class in Accounting and even a Chartered Accountant that you will find SAP FICO a walkover. I have seen some of the best students with 1st class degree fail too many times. Its all in your determineation and hunger for success, and also the grace of God
