PoliticsFor Those Who Say Buhari Sympathizes With Boko Haram - Read This by jjcbuthot(op): 7:35pm On Jun 05, 2013
VOICE OF REASON FROM JASPER AZUATALAM ON THE GOING CHEAP BLACKMAIL AND THOSE SEEKING POLITICAL CAPITAL OUT OF THEIR OWN INEPITUDE........ GENERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI HAS NEVER CONDEMNED BOKO HARRAM AND HE RECENTLY CONDEMNED THE KILLING OF BOKO HARRAM AND ABUSED NIGER DELTA MILITANTS(dont be a fool by allowing yourself to be deceived.take time to read this)

I weep everyday, when Nigerians swallow orchestrated lies and use same to justify those who have plundered them with poverty, hunger, darkness, insecurity, death, unemployment and looting. A lot of Nigerians have been sold the dummy that General Buhari has never condemned Boko harram and recently that Buhari is shielding and protecting Boko harram to the extend of calling for his arrest. Nigerians do not try to find out the truth about what they are being told and why they are being told so. In the History of Boko harram and bombing, General Buhari is the only Nigerian that has gotten the boldness to condemn Boko harram in the strongest term. below are his words and the links. Former Head of State Muhammadu Buhari was among eminent Nigerians and institutions who have condemned the Christmas Day church blasts in several states of northern Nigeria. In his response, General Buhari said, "Bombing other human beings to death at any time is callous. It becomes much more reprehensible on a Christmas day and all lovers of peace must condemn these gruesome acts and demand that the perpetrators be fished out and brought to book." The bombings took place at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, Niger State; Jos, Plateau State; and Damaturu, Yobe State. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/buhari-jonathan-pdp-condemn-xmas-day-bombing-churches

Former Head of State and Presidential Candidate of Congress for Progressive Change, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari has condemned Friday bomb attacks at the United Nations building in Abuja in which many lives were lost and several others wounded. He described the horrendous attack as heart rending devastation and a great challenge to the emotion. Gen Buhari sends condolences to the United Nations, the mourning people of Nigeria and the grief-stricken families who have lost beloved ones in this unfortunate incident: "It is my prayer that the Almighty will comfort all the bereaved and bring speedy recovery to all the wounded" he said. Gen Buhari however frowned at the lazy official response that has accompanied serial challenges to security in the country. "There has yet to be any coordinated response by the security forces in the country. It is unprofessional and incompetent for our security agencies to surrender to this omnibus Boko Haram as the only clue to every security challenge." He said such portends serious danger to the country: "What that means that even foreign interest can enter Nigeria today and wreck havoc and issue a statement in the name of Boko Haram and we will bury our dead and life continues". He called on those in charge of the country to seriously address all the social problems confronting the country and show focused leadership which is lacking at the moment.

http://elombah.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7938%3Abuhari-condemns-attack-on-un-building-in-nigeria&catid=3%3Anewsflash&Itemid=44 These are just two among many times that general Buhari has condemned Boko harram and their killings. the truth is that this government hides many of these statements by Buhari from the public but always orchestrate and misinterpret every words that Buhari says to the public to make the Nigerian public hate Buhari since Buhari is the only prominent resistance and has been the only consistent opposition to PDP since 1999. Also, just yesterday, Buhari made a statement and i quote 1. "Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.". 2. "“Every Nigerian that is familiar with happenings knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all. What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta at that time wanted to win their elections, so they recruited youths and gave guns and bullets to them to use against their opponents to win elections by force.“After the elections, they asked the boys to return the guns, and the boys refused to do so. Because of that the allowance that was being given to them by the governors was stopped" let us analyze the 1st. The UN and other human right agencies in Nigeria has found out that innocent people have been killed in the hunt for Boko harram and the US gave Nigeria and the military a warning. President Jonathan himself have on various occasions agreed that the military has killed innocent people in their attack on boko harram and if i may ask you that is reading, do you doubt that some innocent people have been killed in the North. Number 2. the statement Buhari made about the Niger Delta Militants did not originate from him. It was Jonathan and other governorship aspirants from Bayelsa, Delta and some other Niger delta states that made the allegation before now and Buhari only quoted what they said. Is it that Nigerians have intentionally allowed themselves to be deceived? have you ever wondered why the PDP government since 1999 has seen Buhari as a threat and have continuously attacked him and tried to make him to be hated by some Nigerians? THINK! REASON! AND TRY TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH WHEN YOU ARE TOLD ANYTHING.

Abagworo: Rochas has not come out in the open but I have this question for my Igbo brothers that were attacking Amaechi that he wants to contest VP. Are we going to give Rochas massive support if he declares?
They would rather support GEJ - GEJ has more money than Okorocha.

Are you telling us all his cabinet members should have been muslims in a multi-religious country?

He had no choice than to allow christians into some offices. Is Nigeria an islamic countrty ?
He had no choice in a military government?

He had no choice but also chose a pastor as his running mate?

Ochek: What other options are you refering to? Ain't you aware of all the tactics employed already? From begging to offering Amnesty (which was ridicled).
I encourage you to go up the ladder of the govt's moves in tackling the boko issue. Then come back and let us know other possible routes that can be explored.
Why didnt he start from the list of sponsors he has with him instead of endangering the lives of innocent civilians?

Answer this. You keep running away from the question. Didnt Jonathan say he know them?

For GEJ, it is easier to kill innocent civilians than to arrest the known sponsors? Will this stop the sponsors from recruiting more willing hands?
PoliticsRe: Lekki-Bridge Tolling Stirs ‘Cyber-War’ On Nairaland - Punch by jjcbuthot: 3:19pm On Jun 05, 2013
Where is the cyber war?

What will cause cyber war in a straight case of development?

If FG could build a second niger bridge even if its not the fanciful city-befitting suspension bridge, will igbos not happily pay to use? Didnt we have toll gates on highways across Nigeria before? Did heaven fall when those toll gates were there or we were not paying VAT then? Are those people complaining not living in Lagos where FG collects toll on the road leading to international airport? What justifies that illegal collection?

We have a state government that has spent money and used their creativity to build something as monumental as the suspension bridge and some villagers mostly from SE who have never seen and may never see what a suspension bridge looks like are complaining.

We Lagosians are happy to pay after all the bridge is not in a poor area.

I will post a video of my first cruise on the bridge.

Dear good lord l pray u give nigerians leaders according to ur will regardless of what these monsters may be planning, amen
CPC is power hungry because they are contesting for power? Do you know the meaning of opposition?

Without those hungry oppositions, democracy will not work for you. If you see any little sanity in PDP (though I can't see any), the oppositions are the ones making it happen. Otherwise, PDP would have made your life more miserable than it is now.

gbadexy: I'm a strong supporter of buhari as can be noted from •̸Ϟ•̸y previous posts concerning him but I must confess that I'm no longer comfortable with the man.
He is a good candidate and would have made a good president like someone earlier said but he just is too tribal.
I don't even have a candidate for now, hopefully APC may still find a credible candidate. Sentiments aside, PDP needs to be out of power even once. Its unhealthy to have a one party system at the center.
Think straight man... Has Buhari said Jonathan should not do anything about boko haram? The only disagreement here is method.

Did you or anybody from here support Odi invasion by soldiers? So, we can also say you are tribalistic because you opposed Odi invasion?

No leader of a people will support this until after all other avenues have been explored without success. The impact of this on innocent civilians is the key issue here. Are you saying all those guys killed in Baga are all boko haram members? Even 20% of them are not boko haram. We killed over 200 souls because of less than 20 criminals among them.

Intelligence gathering is what is required to uproot boko haram. Killing the foot soldiers without apprehending their leaders and sponsors is a waste of both human and material resources.

GEJ once mentioned he knew the sponsors... Why didnt he start from there instead of endangering the life of innocent civilians?

PoliticsRe: APC Leaders Angry With Buhari Over State Of Emergency Comments by jjcbuthot: 8:37am On Jun 05, 2013
gboss4sure: And i ask you wht is the solution that you have to the boko haram menace.. How many years now have Boko Haram been terrorizing and killing innocent people? They have been begged to accept amnesty and they rejected and claiming that they will give Nigeria amnesty what an irony, so tell us the intelligence solution you have that will end the boko haram menace. For your info the war is been won with the use of force which is the only language they boko haram understands.
Shut up imbe... October 1 2010 bombing is also Boko Haram? If not for South Africa, what do you think would have happened?

Hasnt GEJ said he knew the people behind boko haram? Why has he decided to leave those people and started killing civilians as we have seen in Baga and Bama?

The Amingo supermarket and Kano discovery of firearms; who are the Nigerian collaborators? Are you telling me those foreigners were doing that without any Nigerian sponsors and collaborators?

Instead of making life unbearable for innocent civilians, focus should be more on intelligence gathering and weeding out the sponsors and leaders of these groups.
PoliticsRe: APC Leaders Angry With Buhari Over State Of Emergency Comments by jjcbuthot: 8:20am On Jun 05, 2013
solomon111: pls tell me how a tribalist would have made a good president.
How is he tribalistic? You are the tribalistic ones who doesnt want to hear anything Hausas or north despite the hausas being more accommodating to other people than your tribe. How many ibos are in the north compared to other tribes in your region? Tell me...

Go and check Buhari's cabinet members when he was head of state, PTF chairperson, etc.

The same man you are accusing of tribalism didnt forgive Maitasini when the later was killing people in the north. His government identified him and he was killed with NO civilian casualty.

The same way some us belief Odi invasion by soldiers was unnecessary. And I am sure you were opposed to Odi invasion because you are from that region. Tell yourself how Godly you are if you oppose Odi invasion and you support emergency rule in the north.
PoliticsRe: APC Leaders Angry With Buhari Over State Of Emergency Comments by jjcbuthot: 8:02am On Jun 05, 2013
Agbalanze: Buhari just lost my vote.. More from a tribalistic and a religious bigot than a national leader! Shame!!
You are not going to vote for him before.

Can you paste the full text of the interview where he said the emergency is anti-north?

I know Buhari is opposed to the emergency ruling just like other key members of APC. They have all made their position known and their position has been use more of intelligence than force. Force will only result in too much civilian casualty.

The question is, can we say we won the war against Boko Haram without capturing their key leaders like Shekau and not apprehending their sponsors? To do this requires more of intelligence than force and this is when we can say the war has been won.

classmark: The anointed is someone that is "called-out", separated, and imparted with divine power to deliver God's mandate on earth. I dont need to argue with you. If you don't understand a thing, especially spiritual matters, it is better to keep quiet than to speak against a person. Even if the anointed derail, it is not for you to speak against; leave that to the Person that called him. Take a cue from David, whom even when he had the chance to kill the backslided, anointed King Saul, he did not. This is becuase he knew the God he was dealing with.
See him... Who anointed who?

God told you he anointed him and has imparted him with divine power? Where is the divine power?

Tell me one thing he has done with his divine power.

- He turned water to wine?
- How many blinds are now able to see through him?
- How many dead has he been able to bring back to life?

May be I dont know, can someone tell me the meaning of divine power?

Or divine power is all about reading the bible and saying "I saw someone driving a new car..."

PoliticsRe: If The Opposition Wants To Beat PDP They Must Run An Igbo Candidate. by jjcbuthot: 10:56am On Jun 03, 2013
Ikengawo: Igbos don't care about politics, the only way to get them to care is by presenting a candidate they feel won't kill them, which at this point they only trust other igbos Christians and former biafrans. So if you run GEJ against a muslim, GEJ will be the president of Nigeria

the muslim vote in nigeria is a lot more fragmented than the christian vote because muslims, believe it or not, don't hate and distrust christians the way christians hate and distrust muslims.

the fact the igbos don't care about politics has to be considered into the election. GEJ did this well by showing he was 'one of them' and thus they felt safe. In their opinion he can loot and mismanage all he wants, they just want an opportunity to develop themselves as individuals and their immediate community, they don't care who in government is performing or 'anti corruption'. They have in all reality given up on NIgeria and would simply want leadership that isn't going to kill them or impose Sharia on them.
Who cares whether Igbos care about politics or not. What will the rest of us benefit if Igbo is given presidency other than easterners entrenching ethnicity and making mouth that their man is in power like we are witnessing now with SS people?

PoliticsRe: PDP Wants Fashola Impeached Over Tolls On Roads by jjcbuthot: 7:48am On Jun 03, 2013
See these hopelessly corrupt illiterates. They don't know government tolls for different reasons all of which make sense.

- raise more money for the state. The richer the state the better
- to reduce traffic on the road/bridge.
- a way of paying for the construction of the bridge. This is massive but very laudable project by a state government.

If we have all the roads we need as a country and the roads are tolled, are we not better off than not having roads?

Why do you pay school fees in government schools?

Why do you pay for electricity?

Even in the US, people pay toll to use some roads and bridges.

And S. Korea, tolls are in grades.

Are these good for nothing group of charlatans saying they don't pay tax in the US, etc?

Who should be impeached? GEJ or Fashola?
Methink it is better for Pastor. Enoch Adeboye to continue to be silent over national issues so that he can continue to retain his respect and honour, but he should warn his lieutenants to beware of politicians and politics. For instance his cousin whom he made Provincial Pastor for Ondo Province 1 of the RCCG, Pastor Richard Adeboye turned himself to a campaign manager for Dr Olusegun Mimiko in the last election in the state, using the pulpits to drum support for his benefactor and "church member", this is not good for the body of christ, Pastor Richard Adeboye lost the respect of several hundreds of his church members who had simpathy for other political parties apart from Mimiko's labour party, cheers!
Man, we are not talking about supporting a political party here. We are talking about telling the truth to the people in power instead of keeping quiet as if everything is ok - everything they do is right including pardoning Alams and recently insisting on Jang as the chairman of NGF despite the later losing the NGF election. The old man Adeboye collects his own cash/share and keeps quiet in return for allowing the politicians to use his platform as a tool to create religious-based political alignment. It is really unfortunate...

Can we are also say that his preachings have been influencing people in the wrong way if this old tithe collector can't make national statements that will influence people in the right direction?

You can see how dull these so called men of God are - what kind of imbecilic statement is this? Martin Luther King influenced people in the wrong way by speaking on national issues? Desmond Tutu influenced people in the wrong way when he joined hand with ANC to end apartheid? This man is a dullard - sincerely.

Adeboye is just trying to thread wisely and carefully, in order not to cause violence and incite hatred like Bakare. That's a wise thing to do.
I agree with you - he is being careful so his business empire doesn't get wiped out. The man is making cool money and someone wants him to speak against the system that created so many disillusioned customers for him. Adeboye, keep chopping but don't forget to clean your mouth - it is your time.
