Let Buhari himself go to the streets of Onitsha or Aba.....,
If Buhari goes to Aba or Onitsha, what will happen? Man, Buhari is not your enemy, the enemies of Igbos are Igbos themselves. |
slimghost: Where are the supporters kwanu? Here we are... |
Super1759: https://www.nairaland.com/1323889/vatsa-son-buhari-resign-politicsKeep deceiving yourself. He should go to the streets of Kano or Kaduna to say that - you know what they call suicide? |
As supporters of Buhari, we should embark on programmes that can help demolish the divisive ethno-religious wall that PDP and other enemies of the country are building. How do we grow as a nation if we allow ourselves to be held back by religion and ethnicity. Our political leaders should stop all these division political permutations like rotational presidency, Muslim/Christian ticket, etc. All these will not get us anywhere. We need to grow up and allow the people to chose who they want as their leader based on merit and trust. Leadership is about trust. Let's continue to talk about what affects all of us - good governance, etc. Let's come up with programmes in the south focusing on SE, SS in particular. |
Parisbee5: @OP my advice to all supporters of GMB is to desist from any form of abuse or the use of derogatory remarks against anyone with desenting opinion, afterall we are at liberty to decide what we want. Lest's discuss issues rather than exchaging iinsult. This is because every Nigerian is a victim of the 14 years bad governance of PDP including GEJ's perceived supporters. Poverty knows no politics, lets chat a new course for our common good. I see a greater Nigeria ahead.. God bless NigeriaI agree with you. And we should stay away from those issues that divide us and focus on those that affect all of us. We should refuse to be provoked. |
I am also here but driving at the moment. Kindly ignore those jobless irritants who have no clue about what life holds for them. Let's focus on the subject of this thread. |
donroxy: A Credible candidate from North Probably NUHU RIBADU buhari must ensure his successs in the North !!!How will Buhari ensure the victory of a product the people don't want? How many people voted for Nuhu even in his state (adamawa) in 2011? Ribadu is a bad presidential product. Buhari is what we need now and he is the one people will voluntary vote for - they know why they insist on Buhari. |
payless: Would you stand if you meet a devil? I am so sorry for your level ofThe right word is "ignorance", not intolerance. |
Msgamble: My brother, religion not a criteria?that was b4..in Osun,b4 d Gov open his adress he first say'bisimillahi' where even the Speaker says Xtian is the majority(4:1)Ignorant post! I am responding to you because I am a native of Osun state and grew up there. In Osun state, we have 3 senatorial districts. Only 1 out of the 3 has large population of xtians - this is Ife-ijesa constituency. The other two constituencies are dominated by muslims. Tell me how you arrived at you 4:1 ratio? Even in Ife-Ijesa, they have large population of very conservative muslims - Aregbesola (Gov) is from this area. If you want to know the population of muslims, find time to Osun during Ramadan or "Ileya" festival. Even in Lagos, the population of muslims is still about 3 times that of xtians. You will notice this during Ramadan when virtually all night outings and joints shutdown for that 30 days. All entertainment businesses feel the impact this month across the state in Lagos. If the population of muslims is that minimal, how comes we see this trent annually? Man, muslims generally don't make noise and that is why it looks muslims are not around. On a street, if you have 2 xtians and 100 are muslims, all the noise around will be coming from the two xtians. |
You see, xtianity is more about materialism than any other thing. The reason they have more criminals, liars, in their midst than any other religion. Their priests/pastors even do more rituals than the traditional religious worshippers. |
These days, whoever has contrary view to that of government is supporting Boko Haram or a sponsor of Boko Haram? It is an irony that all the people arrested so far in connection with bako haram insurgency are PDP chieftains. How many opposition figures have been linked to or mentioned in Boko Haram investigations? Azazi told us before he was killed that PDP members are behind boko haram. |
Mintayo: dnt mind her, saying that doz building churches are into business;she has forgottten abt d mosques in saudi, abuja, arisekola's mosque in ibadan(which was built with an embezzled money)...d list is on and on...dis ppl will just like to decieve ppl sha!Is Arisakola Alao collecting money from people in the mosque? Do they collect tithe in mosques? Mosque is not a business center unlike churches. |
goodtalk: even t'he inddgenious christians still eclipse t'he moslem in numbers, look back into history as at when t'he christian missionaries came to t'he west, bult cms grammer school, churches and commenced massive evangelism of t'he people, islam as a religion was not yet in the west as at then. Make una bone, the population of christian both indigens or non indigence over blast t'he moslem population in lagos so therefore, 2015 elction acn must field a christian candidate to balance tins out or they may be gradually putting lagos over a keg of gun powder. aKeep deceiving yourself. Muslims have taken over forever... |
Cholison: We should not advocate for religious leadership in a political setting. We should seek for those that will deliver and improve our socio-economic advancement of all regardless of religion. This cleric is not speaking on behalf of christians. That is how that started the religious crisis in the north. |
taharqa2: Did you just say 'ONE project in d entire SW'? What of if i listed just a few in one state (lagos)- am sure odas wud found in oda states in d SW if I lookd in dat direction: the rebuilding and resuscitation of d Dead Intra-Lagos Railways that now move tens of thousands of people EVERY DAY for more than a year in 16-18 daily trip; the resuscitated of the equally Dead Lagos-Kano Rd; the building of a brand new domestic Airport terminal in Lagos; the reconstruction of the Apapa-Oshodi Rd (almost done) to serve d Ports, including all the physical and regulatory/admin moves that hv gone on into making the Lagos Ports clear goods in less than a week in stead of d months it used to take; the reconstruction of d Lagos-Shagamu Rd afta Decades of deterioration; the Guarantee by d FG of all the loans d Lagos state Govt hv taken abroad to construct such huge projects like d Lagos-Badagry Expressway; contribution of at least 50% of funds used to renuviate Lagos State Primary and Secondary Schs; etc, etc- hey, u askd for just one in d entire SW, so let me stop here...... The Good Governance Tour to Lagos and SW wud burst d bubble of many of u Clowns; personali, I can't wait..You make me laugh villager... Resuscitation of which railway? That railway has been working since I came to Lagos to serve as corp member for NYSC. Those dirty couches have been there carrying people from Agbado to Lagos. Aregbe has been using the rail line since the time he was contesting for governorship in Osun state - 2007. Tell me the value GEJ added to the rail system between Lagos and anywhere with those dirty coal driven trains that still ply the old rail line. Did GEJ add a new lane to the railway between Lagos and Kano or what? Did GEJ now launch electric train suitable for anybody to use for inter-state travel? Tell me something sensible man. And which Lagos-Kano road are you talking about villager? The only road that links Lagos directly with north is Lagos-Ibadan express road which is still in a terrible state. Ordinary patching of the road, GEJ government couldn't do it. If I may ask, which village are you based? Brand new domestic airport? Which one? That smelly tent is what you call brand new airport. And the patching of the MM International airport? Do you think all of us are villagers who don't know what a government in this age and time should do? A government built MM International Airport in 1970s and in 2000 we can't build something that will be 10 times larger and better. Even if you have never traveled out of your village, you should have access to TV to see what a modern airport should look like - check out Dubai, South Africa, etc not to talk of Western Countries. Man, shut up your ignorant mouth before you get people annoyed here. GEJ government is finding it difficult to even patch Lagos/Apapa express road. Is patching an already constructed road a project? This is maintenance of an existing road. Is the road redesigned? You mentioned one of the major projects by Lagos state government - Lagos-badagry road. This is a World Bank supported Lagos State government road project. FG has got nothing to do with this and you can't in anyway make this a federal government project because someone in Abuja is aware of the arrangement between Lagos and Worldbank. It is not a GEJ initiative. The money for the project is not from GEJ lead FG. So, what should bring in FG or GEJ name in here. Should we also say Ya adua constructed the Lekki/Ikoyi suspension link bridge for sacrificing some FG government properties in Ikoyi? Man, don't muddle up the discussion here - focus on GEJ projects, and not a project initiated, designed and funded (any how) by the state. Which 50% contribution is this villager talking about? Can you explain how FG gave Lagos the money you are talking about here? How much is the money? If FG gives Lagos her statutory allocation for whatever, how is that GEJ's achievement? Is there an initiative from FG for Secondary schools, etc and funded directly by FG in Lagos? Should we also praise GEJ for giving Lagos her monthly subvention? Anyway, thank you Fashola for not allowing those charlatans to come to Lagos in the name of the nonsense called Bad Governance tour of GEJ ass lickers. |
Muslim will always rule Lagos because they are more than xtians here. We are not in Anambra. Number is not about noise... Muslims dont make noise. |
tomber: You cudnt just hide the feeling. Thaz quite bad. but to set d record strght if we are to vote by religion in s.w ur kind will never in this world or in d world to come be in powerAnd who told you I am interested in contesting an election in the midst of liars and deceit loving people? |
Katsumoto: Is religion an issue in the SE?Igbos are no 1 religious psychopaths in Nigeria - they are the ones causing crisis in the north with their religious bigotry even though an average Igbo is criminal in mind. |
Katsumoto: Is religion an issue in the SE?Igbos are no 1 religious psychopaths in Nigeria - they are one causing crisis in the north with their religious bigotry even though an average Igbo is criminal in mind. |
Afam, can you atleast be honourable for once? Is it too much to ask? @Topic, Religion is the opium of the people. What has the religion of an administrator got to do with his performance in office. Has Fashola favoured muslims more in governing Lagos? Have we had christians who were asked not to do anything because they are christians? No apologies, but Mr Folarin did not appear to be God fearing in his bigoted speech.
Religion is the opium of the poor people - and villagers who dont have a clue about what life hold for them. Majority of Lagosians apart from those villagers from SE who smuggled themselves into Lagos, are not in this class. |
Aba and dirt are synonymous. |
Ikengawo: you bloody thief, except wole soyinka, who from your ethnic stock as reached the intellectual acheivment levels of these people you're now trying to claim? And who are those igbos? The drug traffickers, armed robbers, kidnappers or the traders? |
What is this retardeen called cleric expecting from a xtian gov in Lagos? The criminals that we chase out of power in Ogun (Daniel), Oyo (Alao Akala), Osun (Oyinlola), and Ekiti (Oni), are they not xtians? Will any of the states mentioned above ever want anything associated with those characters in their states again? These so called xtians clerics are so dull and very lazy thinkers. Anyway, it is when people don't fit anywhere that they go into religion as a means of livelihood. And if we have to base voting on religion, how many states in SW will have any xtian in government? |
Demdem: If only retardeen is smart, nothing stops him from adopting this nationally or are we saying that Nigeria doesn't have the resources? You call a man a retarddeen and you expect him to be smart. Retardeeness and Smartness are mutually exclusive. |
ogb5: Are the yorubas marginalized? You are an imbe! Do you understand...? Who cares if a Yoruba is made the CBN governor? We are talking about real values added to the people of SW in general through people oriented projects, not all those personal benefits/appointments that a few ass lickers get from corrupt politicians in Aso rock. Point to me a project in SW that we can't point to as a landmark in South West from GEJ lead FG. Nothing... Only SE people are so shortsighted and selfish to see marginalization as not appointing greedy politicians into political post. I pity Igbos... |
REVOLUTNIS: All the supporters of Gen Buhari are foolsYou are the fool because you allow yourself to be deceived by your real enemies - the corrupt p[oliticians. Here you here, you are not sure of what will happen to you tomorrow. You have no money to send your kids (if you are adult at all) to good schools. You rely on someone in your church helping you to get a job or feed yourself. Where is your dignity in life? How more foolish can you be before you realize religious belief or ethnicity is not your problem? |
shamson: t will be so hard to convince election rigger what the general stand forI agree with you. You can't convince a criminal why it is not good to commit crime. |
oxford: you guys talk as if i was the one that forced buhari to say all that rubish about fg being too hard on bh. Truth is buhari is a bh supporter/sympatiser/sponsor either by action and inaction. So he cant be trusted. If he becomes the president today, bh will become energise in their mision to waste anytin/anyone remotely related to christainity.Buhari is not the problem. The problem of the country are the tribalists and religious suffer heads from SE/SS. |
EasternLeopard: And who stopped it? Jonathan? Ojukwu? |
Forget about marginalization of Yorubas, SWesterners don't for known performers. Hence GEJ wont get any votes here. |
Those useless kings and queens will no they are sitting on a gun powder. So, can we also say Boko Haram kidnapped the queen? |
