PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is Behind Rivers Crisis - Tinubu by jking001(m): 1:31pm On Jul 15, 2013
I wonder why nigerians come on nairaland to do their political propaganda?so its got me thinking of some questions that goes through my mind when i see people postsing propaganda comments,i always ask myself the question what have we learn't from our past ?we have all watched the way politics is been played in nigeria from it's inception and we are still acting a fool allowing ourselves to be used as ponds for someone elses ambition ,why?I think what we should all undertsand in this game is, its about themselves only and you are not included,if the opposition takes over power today or tomorrow i bet most of you would still remain the way you are except you are directly connected to these people then i can understand your need to propagate their ideas if not "ogbeni" you are on a long thing, 9ja politics is a matter of man know man and the oga at the top culture which would not change any time soon, according to fela paddy paddy government, don't be decieved by any one claiming to be your messiah, GEJ or Tinibu can be your next door neighbour and you would still be poor that's if you are poor,so you should understand he's not coming to change your status so why kill your self or get headache over their issues?to those clamouring for change do you think the opposition would just come and guarantee jobs for everyone? Do you think they would not steal or get involved in corruption or dirty politics,humm..don't think so,so please can someone tell me which country or government in europe that has not been accused of corruption even china tho am not in support of these , what i think we need is massive investment and patience so we can find our identity because if these politicians divide us with critizing each othey they stand to gain and we stand to lose if there is a fight the masses always suffer so don't be decieved, let's find our identity.

RomanceRe: The Mr. Valentine Challenge: Write A Love Letter! by jking001(m): 12:30am On Feb 07, 2013
Have searched through the photos of beauties in my heart but found not what i can could call beautiful, so had to conclude that you are not beautiful, you just way beyond it,so natural like the breath of nature, your voice is pure and my heart is so sure your words so quite and gentle it heals my soul,i tried living without the thought of you in my heart,it was a torture to my soul and breakdown in spirit,i tired to find fault because you are flawless and without blemish ,nevertheless beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Now i know i have been captivated and captured by your spell, basking in euphoria of my new found happiness, your existence watered my soul and gives me a feel of joy beyond human comprehension, i can't feel my feet any longer,it explains my intention to love you and love you for ever more,i want to share ever moment on earth with you,it gladdens my heart and soul to know we are entangled in this season of love and in the spirit of st valentine i ask that you be my val,and we would be cherishing and furnishing the foundation of our love till the end of time.

There is this my cousin we are arguing here about that has a first class and still can't get a job in Nigeria and he is exceptionally good, so our argument here is having a first class a guarantee to success,my thought initially was that if you have a first class jobs would come and looking for you.
PoliticsViolence Against Women, Man Forces Wife To Drink Petrol, Sets Her Ablaze by jking001(op): 10:59pm On Nov 26, 2012
Hell was let loose over the weekend in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia state when a man identified as Ndubisi okafor set his wife ablaze for complaining to her sistr in-law that her husband

usually maltreats her. Ndubisi, a trailer driver from Amawbia in Awka was said to have been having a lot of quarrels with his wife for some time now. He was also said to have reported himself to the police after the incident.

According to reports, Okafor, who owns two trailers, had severally accused his wife of being too religious which he claimed, prevented him from making good money. He was alleged to have even destroyed the wife's Bible. A source revealed that two days to the incident, the woman, Chinyere, 40, who hailed from Obingwu Asa in Ukwa West Local Government of Abia State, had complained to the husband that she was sick and needed initially money to buy some drugs, which the husband refused.

This prompted Chinyere to call her sister-in-law on phone to complain about it and other related issues which did not go down well with the man. Okafor, according to the source, later gave the wife money for the drugs and travelled to Port Harcourt. When Okafor came back from his journey the following day he met his wife cooking and went inside the kitchen to confront her over the phone call to his sister. The man did not accept his wife's explanations. He allegedly pounced on his wife, who had three boys for him and attacked her.

After beating the wife to stupor, Okafor allegedly forced her to drink some litres of fuel, poured some on her body before dumping his wife, into a big rubber container before setting her ablaze. Neighbours who were attracted to the apartment by the woman's cry for help broke into their flat, put out the fire before rushing the lady to hospital. The first hospital she was taken to rejected her due to the high degree of burns she sustained.

But it was at the Living Word Mission Hospital where she was admitted and given first aid treatment and referred to UNTH, Enugu. It was on their way to UNTH at Osisioma, about two kilometres from the hospital, the woman died. Four hospitals allegedly rejected the body being deposited at their mortuary because it was badly damaged. When Okafor learnt the wife had died, he reported himself to the Timber Police Station where he reportedly told the police it was his wife that set herself ablaze. Relations of the deceased are alleging that the man killed their sister for rituals.

According to the woman's elder sister, Nkechinyere Nwogu, "before the incident, Okafor had severally told my sister he needed money at all costs and that the wife had been the stumbling block, and he even destroyed her Bible. "Presently, we the family members don't know where the body of my sister is because four hospitals rejected her body to be deposited in their mortuary due to its very bad state."
When our correspondent visited 45 Azubuike Street by Uratta /Express junction residence of the couple, the building was deserted by their neighbours over fear of massive arrest by the police. As at Press time, the suspect was still being detained at the Timber Police Station.

A 300 level student at Enugu state College of Education, Chika Egbo and a yet to be identified Okada rider were attacked with acid at Ikotun area of Lagos State by a middle aged man, David Suleiman

who claimed to be Egbo's fiancée.
Suleiman who is currently being detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, was said to have attacked his girlfriend with acid for refusing him access to their only child.
According to a Police sources, the couple's trouble started when Egbo became pregnant for Suleiman, who abandoned her with the burden of fending for herself and the baby, claiming to have travelled out of the country.
He suddenly appeared few months after Egbo put to bed requesting to see the baby, but he was refused.
Another source explained that he tricked Egbo who resides in Enugu State to visit him in Lagos where he took her to a hidden spot in Ikotun and poured her acid.
An Okada rider who witnessed the incident the source said, went after Suleiman but received a bath of the acid after Suleiman emptied the can on the Okada rider, who held him strongly waiting for the help.
"Other Okada riders who drove by saw what was happening and came to his rescue and they took Suleiman to Ikotun police station while the Okada rider and Egbo were rushed to a hospital," the source said.
Egbo is in a critical condition at the emergency unit of the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, with her face, chest and some other parts of her body destroyed by the acid bath.

PoliticsRe: Why Do You Support Goodluck Jonathan For President? by jking001(m): 12:54am On Apr 04, 2011
Please allow the Niger delta region feel the impact of the presidency we can see how each  past president or head have affected the lives of their immediate community it's an opportunity for someone from the south south to know what it feels like to be a president, even if he's the wrong or right man for us, at least we could bare and tolerate the Babangida regime all those while GJ has just spent an unstable  10 months and people are crying crucify him for me i think he deserves a chance just as any other person would consider Buhari let  the south south rule for at least 4 years can't judge him by the people around him right now i think we all should give him a try at least if he doesn't perform after 4 years we still have a chance to vote him we are not going to die in 4 years time we can only judge this man after 4 years there's no prejudice no pre-judgement.
