I would be sending a private mail to the correspondent by tomorrow to get an update on the status of our application

I am suggesting everyone does this and then we can share any replies gotten, here.

sending this mail in numbers would bring a sense of urgency and also most importantly help us know our stakes and move on

Lastly if you have contacted them of recent please do well to share the replies.

The delay is from the Shell Postgraduate Scholarship team. There was a change in management as the tenure of the old team had come to an end. The scholarship candidates for this year are just victims of this transition.

Still, I expect them to reach out latest next week. Fingers crossed.

They won't reply you regarding the Scholarship, it's our contact person Mr. Emeka we should reach out to.
He is the only person to furnish us with any latest.

The list is ready, what is left is for management to approve the release of emails to successful candidates. As at last week management were still deliberating doing another scholarship recruitment process or just add more slots to this years. It was resolved that it’s already late for them to do a new selection process.. Even this week is not so certain it might drop this week but it shouldn’t exceed next week (8-15) 100%.

They’re still considering somethings but it’s mainly a management decision thing that’s holding it. It might also be a virtual induction, I’m not too sure of this tho.

But it will not pass this week or at extreme second week of August. Contrary to people saying it’s this week indefinitely. But let’s see so let’s be hopeful.
