U have said it all...that's exactly what am trying to let the dude know. NDDC was created and enough funds have been pumping to that board, yet the funds were looted by the same politicians in the south, was it a northerner that looted it? Some times in 2020 NDDC scholars in UK were seriously protesting lack of their tuition payment by the board, yet NDDC officials spent billions of Naira for themselves just for 1 week trip to Italy. not untill President Buhari had to step in and directed d board to immidietely clear her scholars tuition fees (you can Google that). Even the minister of NDDC God'swill Akpabio is not an exception, yet this things cannot open your eyes to the truth that this politicians are only after themselves and their family. Despite the political rivalry between Buhari and Atiku Abubakar, the day Buhari's Son got married it was the same Atiku who stand in as the father to Buhari's son in that wedding, even Femi Fani Kayode was fully in attendance.
Yet this things didn't ring any bell to your ears. University education is not only for academic purpose ooo, it's a place where u get exposure to ur community, social values and responsibilities e.t.c
Asin ehn my brother, NDDC hasn't sponsored any scholarship program in the last 2yrs if I remember well since after the 2020 embarrassment and fiasco, almost if not all allocated NDDC projects are abandoned projects with the money nowhere to be found, but someone says his problem is with some people that their Road from Abuja to Kaduna to Kano to Bauchi to Maiduguri or Gombe sef you'll be tempted to sleep on the steering because of its good state.

Yet another slimy northern simp!

I said and I will repeat it again: northern underdevelopment is directly proportional to its gross low IQ.

It's a statement of fact! It's published on journals, even Wikipedia has it. I didn't say it to deride anyone. If you feel otherwise, disprove it!
How many Northern states have you visited to-date?

Mention them

People will just wake up and begin to push a non-existent quota system, brazenly displaying their ignorance of the scheme.

For the umpteenth time, there's nothing like quota system consideration or FCC consideration for PTDF, every individual is competing against people from their states, every state is usually allotted 4 slots for MSC with an additional 2 for Oil producing states.

Kindly leave out the North when pushing your divisive agenda and focus on your performance and that of selected persons from your state; because you have never travelled doesn't mean you're the only educated individual in the world, a humble visit to the Abuja center will deliver you of your ignorance, because some Northerners are even way smarter, intelligent and sound than any of the persons you know from your state, but awon oloshi will not allow you to reason clearly.

Delta state had only 4 last year (3 male, 1 female) for PhD where neighbouring Edo and Anambra had 5 or 6. I couldn't understand the rationale.
I hope they do better this time
Check again bros, Delta get 6

And mind you, the last one, those awarded per state were doubled because of the impact of COVID-19 which affected adverts for 2021, which meant Delta got 12MSCs and I think 6 abi 8PHDs.

Na MSc you be bros abi PhD?

But all of us can not be disqualified. At least one or two among us will scale through for the interview.
Reason for my question cum enquiry, if they choose not to process the OSS this year, then nobody will get invited for it or even be awarded.
EducationRe: Apply For 2022/2023 PTDF Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme by jlomz: 3:31pm On May 01, 2022
How are we sure they'll consider OSS this year?

I'm only asking because PTDF's normal Modus operandi is once they've sent out invites to shortlisted candidates, those not considered will be locked out and can't access their accounts.

And moreover, why refuse access to someone when you also plan to invite such later?

Mind you, those that applied for both LSS and OSS, and got the LSS interview invite do access their portal and can view their OSS application (except they're saying I'm wrong, which I doubt).

I'm not trying to put doubts in people's mind sha, just had these thoughts flash through my mind. I only thought to share to see if anyone has info on the plans with OSS, and if it is that they've got no plans for it this year, that people kuku move on to other stuffs.

Happy Eid in advance.

BluntTheApostle:
It doesn't matter.

The damage they did in their active months coupled with other factors has caused production to be on the decline.

And currently, the market for our oil has disappeared. Even India does not want our oil. Only Taiwan (I think) are showing some promise.

Buhari is not incompetent. He is just unfortunate to have come at this time.
You're gradually swallowing your words, continue!!!
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Militants, Oil Prices Affected My Performance: Buhari by jlomz: 9:59am On Dec 24, 2021
BluntTheApostle:
Take your ignorance away from here.

You think progress exist in a vacuum.

We had an oil slump, and reduced production, is that not enough to hamper performance in an oil dependent country?
It is facts I asked, bring the facts on the table and stop disturbing our peace here.

We had an Oil Slump you say, but forgot we had Millions of Barrels at sea at a time begging for buyers because of global economic issues. Don't throw and apportion blames anywhere just to feel alright, bring real facts and justify it, then you can solve your problem; you're here fighting me because of someone playing politics with you and your future.

Brainwashed youths in the North now will start thinking it's Militants that caused the situation we find ourselves forgetting the Bombs raining like knock-outs just by their side.

Nonsense and Ingredients!!!
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Militants, Oil Prices Affected My Performance: Buhari by jlomz: 9:43am On Dec 24, 2021
BluntTheApostle:
In management, there are strengths and weaknesses (which are internal), and opportunities and threats (which are external).

Buhari is right to blame external factors such as threats for his inability to perform. It doesn't make him less of a leader.

Leaders take responsibility for their weaknesses, not the impact of threats which they have very little influence over.

The Covid-19 impacted oil price, and every leader acknowledges that. Do you expect them to take responsibility for job losses resulting from the pandemic?

Go and check the timeline of the Niger Deltan militant attacks. It began in 2016, not even up to a year that Buhari assumed leadership.

From January, 2016, they began blowing up inportant export lines and linkups, and they did so nearly every day in January, especially February.

The president has challenged you people to verify. These claims are verifiable.

They were blowing up important pipelines and link-ups, crippling production. When oil price slumped, we were supposed to be producing more to at least achieve cost advantage.

But those Niger Deltan fools had reduced production to half a million barrels per day with oil selling at below 40 naira.

Come on, how much can you achieve if you are an oil dependent country like Nigeria?
Bring out the month by month production stats of the NNPC from 2015 to date, let's scrutinize.......
PoliticsRe: Niger Delta Militants, Oil Prices Affected My Performance: Buhari by jlomz: 9:39am On Dec 24, 2021
BluntTheApostle:
You people should read first before commenting.

What the president said was that oil sold at a higher price with high productivity level as well, before they came to power in 2015. And this can be verified.

The Niger Deltan militants began blowing up pipelines, reducing production to half a million barrels per day. Then prices slumped to below 40 naira per barrel. How do you achieve economies of scale when you are producing below full capacity, at reduced product value?
Young man stop giving us gibberish statements, show us stats in the past 6yrs where Militants blew up Pipelines and the impact it has on our Production capacity.

You'll just swallow up stuffs thrown at you and be running with it in defence without verifying, when Militancy was rife and at its peak was even during PDP era, and you're here defending stuffs you don't understand.

Why was the government and NNPC always telling us they were going to ramp up production capacity to 3Million Barrels per day, was it not because of the relative peace in the region that gave them that confidence?

Bunkery wey boys no see do again and leave for one side, rush embrace Yahoo naim dem still dey blame............abeg e don do!!!

Hello guys, I will mention two mistakes that cost me alot in life, though I finally overcame them by God's grace....

One of the mistakes was visiting a fake church whose pastor looked "anointed" and profitable. That stuff ruined my life so much, but I recovered again and am wise..

Another mistake was my continued dating of a girl my spirit rejected.. This caused me terrible emotional stuff, but I am pretty fine now by God's grace.
Charman you fit kindly elaborate on what the Pastor did to you?

incogni2o:
Just know 50 to 80 percentage of Nigerian women are like this.

My Wife is about 50% of your Wife's character(with the crying part too and even the vision part)

Firstly, people like her need a lot of maturity from your the husband, maybe partly due to the upbringing, They are ignorant of a lot of things, listen to a lot of negative things from the Devil and his manipulations rather than from God, it difficult to change their point of view unless something emotionally traumatizing happens to them.

The issue now is that you have already travelled abroad, me, I am still here and we are doing the physical and spiritual part and really making progress, You have to be the Dad they never had in terms of Love(This is hard I must say). You also have to be the more truly spiritualy leading.

Your only best bet now can no more be physical but spiritual. God respects the Man's say over the Wife,

Report her to God, although this looks funny it works, also let her know you have authority over her spiritually, even before God, Trust, me, when God start dealing with Her spiritualy, She'll come back with true humility and submission.

It truly works.

Never listen to the manipulations of the Devil.

Straight up, bro, I think you should do all her bidding right now, then take a trip back to Nigeria and dump her ass, but send your trusted person in Nigeria to file for divorce and when you guys get to Nigeria, serve her the papers immediately, conclude the process and go back alone with your child.
This would have been my innocent counsel, but I don't comment on married couples issues

So oh ye divorce advocates do consider the "in the abroad" option while shouting divorce.

AdeniyiAr9:
Good morning house,
I currently work with one of the telecoms companies in Nigeria on a contract job; the pay is 60k (720k per annum). However, aside my salary, I do one or two things on the job that gives me like 10 k every week.

Approximately I earn about 100 k every month. I started this job started early this year.
While on this job, I got connected for a new job with an indigenous oil company on a full time basis and was surprised the pay is 1.2m per annum, though I truthfully expected more. For this new job am to leave my comfort zone in south western Nigeria for the south south.

I currently run my masters degree, meaning I will have to defer my admission. I'm also very much always needed in Church

Note my current job is without leave and it's contract based. But the new one is full time and am entitled to 5 weeks leave yearly.

Please serious advice needed. No bashing of any sort
The Indigenous Oil Company, what value chain does it fall under?
Is it Oil servicing, Production, EPC, etc, which one in particular?
