you got da number 1 wrong cos the word 'most' ending da option you chose rendered da option invalid for we have 'was' not 'were' right after 'them' in the sentence. So, only a singular noun would do in such state. And that's NONE.

Re: help! correct usage ofinand on
Hello,
on/inDecember: both can be used but oneismore general (e.g.I will travelinDecember) and the otherismore specific (I will travel on the fifth ofDecember);
on/inthe street: both can also be used;"inthe street"ismore general and common whereas"on the street/streets"isusedinidiomatic expressions anditmeans without a home, outside, etc.: e.g. charity organisations always consider the problems of people living on the street;
on the floor: as far as I know, you will always say on the floor

Re: help! correct usage ofinand on
Just an additional to what was said already. If you are talking about months and years,"in"should be used. However, if you are talking of specific dates, likeDecember25orDecember25, 2006,"on"should be used.
As for the street, based on what I know,itshould be"in"and for the road,itshould be"on". I'm not really sure if"on"can be used for street. Let us wait for other members to comment about this.
As for the floor,itisalways"on".

Elliotwiz1: your question was about get.in not get.on .... Car is correct, e.g 'get in the car'
not in da sense of that friend though you are rice too. Dat was in da form of authority or command but I was asking about the right preposition for da means of transportation. As in: THEY 'GOT OFF' THEIR BICYCLE, WE 'ALIGHT FROM' OR 'GET OUT OF' A CARRIAGE OR A MOTOR CAR, WE 'GET ON' OR 'OFF' THE TRAM, THE BUS, ETC.

If you take a shot in the dark, you guess at something.
Examples:
First speaker: How old do you think I am?
Second speaker: I'll take a shot in the dark and say 25.
I don't wanna take a shot in the dark - so tell me what you've got in the box.
