it'll be termed desperation and lemme tell you why. Last season, Holding was our only defender so it's normal for him to be called upon when we wanna close shop. It means that if any CB have injury, he'll be In line to replace him, so even if he starts next game, it'll be seen as normal.

Compare it to this season where Tomiyasu and Tierney have taken over his place as close shop masters. If we just meet Man city and you now put Holding who isn't a regular player(i.e coming from bench included), what message are you trying to pass to the team, and more importantly, what message are you trying to pass to Tomi and Tierney?

After dribbling the 2 Spurs players, 5 arsenal players were open including White(leaving Son behind) yet he chose to dribble and lost the ball. His selfishness was what put the team under pressure because we were out of shape. If he had made a simple pass, I'm sure they wouldn't have break (through Son who was unmarked).

Footballers lose ball every now and then and the breakaway counter was already dealt with by arsenal.

Immediately he lost the ball, Spurs was on a counter through Son and the ball fell to Richarlison. If Richarlison have scored that goal with that breakaway counter, I would have blamed Saka but Gabriel cleared the ball out as Richarlison crossed the ball and the ball fell to Xhaka. Once that ball fell to free Xhaka, we're now in possession and Saka is now free of any blame. But Xhaka made a mess of it with that poor ball control giving Richarlison another advantage and then Gabriel completed the howler.
