I can confirm that I am fully recovered and ready to play again. I will be ready for Arsenal pre-season. New season, stronger me COYG - Takehiro Tomiyasu What of Partey? Any update? |

iamoyindamola: Are you sure he's more of leftie I stopped checking youtube for review of players after that peperito scammed us Lol... He's a leftie but he isn't one footed like Xhaka or Tierney that if you hold their left leg, they'll be subdued. He's double footed like Tomi that can pass or dribble out with both foot. I'm not using YouTube to judge a player tho, I just use YouTube to see the kinda player I'm expecting |

mostob: Ehn...if you say so. Maybe na me dey look for a mix of Modric and Cazorla. The guy resemble Benardo.... Arteta sha wan emulate City. ESR na our Gundogan Lol, I don lower my expectations on this when expecting any player to come to us. My expectation is that let the player have very good basics pertaining their position which can influence games. Dem cazorla and modric specs don dey enter extinction sadly Hopefully, this guy turns out to be another low-key great signing. Exactly what the doctor ordered |

daveP: That World Cup break na the rush probably. This is the season that Arteta executes squad rotation to the fullest like Emery did that year we went to Europa final. Possible if we can get at least 5 new players. Yeah, I suspected it's because of the world cup that's why. It'll be interesting to see how Arteta maximizes his squad depth effectively especially as we have the 5sub rule |

We were above them (in terms of points) with tottenham Conte. They played, outscored us in Gd and still top us in points. Now that everyone dey start with 0 points and they're obviously strengthening under Conte, we'll be deceiving ourselves to think na just "same old tottenham" |

Roland17: August is but a month and change away. I don’t want us to start this season the same way we have started the previous 2, with a lot of uncertainties.
We need to wrap up loan deals, who is staying, who is leaving and who is joining at least by early August, so we don’t suffer another bad start to the season with another bloated squad. When there is a lack of clarity with the squad it makes it even more difficult to focus on the new season.
By now, Arteta should have seen enough of Pepe to decide what he wants to do with Pepe. If he is going then put him up for sale or offer him to clubs, if the plan is to recoup some of the money, if not then let’s know. Same applies to Niles and others.
If Arteta has identified his targets, let’s get the ball rolling on the guys with concrete conversations. I hate last minute transfers because they are difficult to integrate into the team with the exception of mentally tough guys who can adapt quickly.
We need 2 quality midfielders, there is understating that, anything short of 2 quality midfielders and a good striker is going to be a failed transfer and a recipe for a bad season . We can say Torreira fulfills depth/ competition. my brother, I'm tired of arsenal's sluggishness is this transfer market as well as you. Nothing concrete, nobody is even talking who's going and who we're bringing in. By August ending now, we'll start doing panic sales and negotiations in order to buy players. By then we'll start hearing how it's difficult for us to get our targets since buying players isn't as straight forward as buying okrika. It's just tiring I just dey wait dey look dem |

hensben: Henry was old. Pedro was mostly super sub for barca. Those players you mentioned were known, fab just did wonders with monaco before he was signed. Alnord, robertson, gudogan, reus, lewy, hummels, etc are the true unknown players before Klopp got hold of them. Stones was known at everton that chelsea even bid for him but decided to end up with man city Stones was known cos you watch ONLY EPL then. If you've followed football then you'll know that Deco, maniche, McCarthy and co wasn't unknown too |

The core players in his team where established, whereas Klopp used unknown players at Dortmund.
