Inasmuch as we bottled the UCL spot this season, Arteta 'outwit' both. If not for the 3 games we lost in a row, we will be in 3rd by now. And if all these unnecessary losses get fixed, we can go all way next season.
As for all clubs spending, you're right about that. Let's wait and see
Lol, you can't say you outwit someone only to turn around and say "if not I lost 3, I would have outwitted you". Is that not contradictory? grin
Conte also lost too and if he won those matches, he would have been 3rd too. If tuchel won those matches, he would have been going for 2nd too.
You see how all these .. if if, no dey work in this context?

Analysing Arteta gameplan when we're trailing no dey give me hope, especially as he seems to be the only top6 coach lacking that. In 37 league matches, we've only done comeback win once. In fact last season, we did comeback win thrice or 4 times.
We've drawn 3 this season with 2 goalless draw. Meaning if they had scored us first, we would still have lost that match. I'm telling you this to show you that Arsenal not doing comeback win is not a new thing under Arteta, and that once we concede first, it's as good as end of game

Unless he improves on his in-game tactics and not just flinging in attackers after every loss, we won't outwit Conte and tuchel on a 38 game run with that kind of stats

Stop judging footballers base on the you not knowing them or not.
Time has gone when you buy players base on big names or you buy players from big clubs.
With an intelligent scout, you can buy a player from a low club from a non popular league and that player can out perform even players that are popular.
This is why klop of Liverpool is successful today, he is a very intelligent scout when it comes to buying of players.
He did so in Dortmund and now in Liverpool, look at his success rate.

I know Barcelona are having financial woes and the only way out is to go bring in quality and hungry players from non popular Leagues and clubs.
This Basey will play for any of the Elite club next season, ( mark my words) any club that gets him now have hit a jackpot.
Yesterday as i was watching him play, the only thought on my mind was him in our defense as our defender.
And i believe i wasn't the only one with the thought.
If xavi moves for him now, we can actually get him.
I don't know why all are underrating him, is it because he is Nigerian?
The question is

Do you know Calvin bassey before ystdy game? Have you consistently watched Rangers game this season to Draw up these conclusions?

If you haven't then you're not different from those who are judging same bassey based on the game he played against Ghana too

Depending on how our summer transfer goes, we can make top 4 next season. Man city and Liverpool will be the major contenders. Can Ten Haag get Man U running immediately? I wouldn't bank on that. Chelsea may likely have their usual 'special season' next season. Spurs is a 2-man team. Arsenal lost out on top 4 due to unseriousness and if we can correct that, we can go all the way.
Lol .
Let's put it this way.
*Man city and Liverpool top 2
*Chelsea under tuchel won't falter out of top4
*Conte will certainly improve his squad for next season.
*We also have man u under Ten Haag whom we don't know how they might fare next season.

Remember, we're not the only one spending. Chelsea and most especially Tottenham will spend and that will leave Arteta with tactical experience to battle it out with them

Do you trust Arteta to outwit Conte and tuchel in a 38 game rounds? I don't think so.

I agree with you on this. My only anger is that we are losing that spot to Tottenham.

Just like Xhaka said,we are not ready for UCL.

We have a lot of decisions to make next season from transfers to tactics all the way to choosing a captain. It is time to add ruthless to our game. We need a loud leader. I will still choose xhaka over anyone presently in that squad(if only Gabriel speak english).

Enough of buying soft boys abeg.

Again let me turn to a town crier in this striker dept( G. Jesus purchase will only make sense if you are buying another striker like Martinez or Nunez or Oshimen)

Give Nikky a new contract and loan him out ,he can come handy only. He is still need to be exposed to good football before fighting for main role.

I can't wait for sailba to come back ,I have this feeling that if Arteta would allow him play for some games,he will realised that White was an unnecessary purchase.

Arteta need to learn man management at this point. If we calm down with some of our returnees we may not need buying too many players
1.. We need mixtures of young boys and matured guys in that attack esp more of matured guys. Having Smith Rowe and Martinelli dragging for one spot (both very young) no too gel. If to say we get person like Saint Maximin as a starter then Martinelli as a sub, e go dey balanced.

2.. We also need balance and quality in the squad depth. It's so bad that Partey injury derailed our season. If we have Partey and maybe a bissouma, then strong technical guys in midfield, we'll go far. While we're might say Arteta tried using this boys but one thing is certain... Arteta have been found out. How?
It's simple
Load the midfield with fast aggressive runners who will be very aggressive to our Midfielders and can press very well. To that to them 1st 15m and Odegaard would start sprawling on the floor, Xhaka will pass back and Elneny will play sef. Do that to our defenders while applying same to Midfield and our defenders will boot the ball up cos the Midfielders will obviously be hiding.
If Arteta doesn't change next season, na Ore we go enter so oo grin

3.. We should ditch this youngsters project. If we want to go far esp with young guys, let's go for 22-24yrs of age and not all these 18-20yr olds. EPL is for men and with time, these boys tire out. See how Gabriel is young and aggressive even when the going is tough, that's because he fits that age bill. Seeing Smith Rowe and Odegaard bend own for any pressure faced is frustrating. Na only Saka they try with sense for aggressiveness.

Las las, this club needs to re-evaluate their project. Next season will be damn tougher than this

Auba was going haywire..
Torreira was homesick

The only fault is not bringing in players in January.
And for God's sake, they should stop buying kids..

While Elneny tried and steadied the ship, but the 12points we lost before his arrival proved very very costly.

Another thing is this..
Have we won any midweek match this season in the EPL? I don't think so

Liverpool home and away ... L
Everton.... L
Man u.... L
Tottenham.... L
Crystal palace home and away... D & L
Newcastle.... L

Aside Wolves and Aston villa, we've lost the rest.

This is the problem. This happened centuries ago. But Muslims today use it to justify marrying children. If marrying children was not a sadly conspicuous part of Islamic culture, particularly in backward countries no one would be shouting Muhammed was xxxx.

But right in Nigeria we have sitting governors (yerima) marrying 10 year olds and citing Prophet Muhammad

Christians have it lucky. They were not obsessed with proudly documenting everything for posterity. Las Las they will say, it was allegorical.
Muslims today practicing Paedophile are at fault. .

That doesn't mean that Mohammed is a Paedophile according to his time. They are enlightened and should know better

As for your point about cannibalism, I know I'm not a cannibal because the literal definition of that is eating another human beings meat and I sure as hell don't do that.

What I know I am is an omnivore, I eat both plants and meat of other animals. If being an omnivore which is a basic biological trait, not a social construct, is viewed as negatively in the future with new information out of our reach now, (which is very very unlikely seeing as biology has been constant for centuries), then I guess we were very wrong in being omnivores. That is what it is. That is the basic principle of idealism. A constant progressive push to make the world a better place.
Lol.. you call him Paedophile because dictionary says so. And that's the problem.

You're using today's dictionary to condemn ancient people for that.

I remember when I was young, the word "gay" means bright or light hearted. You can conveniently use it to compliment then, but now you can't and dictionary will back you up.

You're an omnivore today but we just need a change of extremist acceptance worldwide and it'll derided just as gay is
