Finally someone that see reason with me.

Beats me that an Arsenal fan didn't notice the big difference, and is even attributing it to Tactics.

I didn't even know the same talk was holding water on Twitter as well. Something that's obvious to see that there's a big difference as he wasn't on the touchline to bark.

As for Pep, lets settle with the fact that he did the Overthinking as usual. That no doubt happened.

I wish we are much more clinical in big games like this. Its going to be the biggest threat once we resume UCL football.

Who else noticed White was below par after Gabby went off? Tomiyasu na Rock.
I didn't notice the bolded sha. I still feel white played his game, moreover we were dominated from that point and white stood tall aerially.

As for Tomi eh that guy na blessing.
Dem suppose give 3 awards for best player this season. Him, saka and ramsdale deserve arsenal best player I swear. Anybody wey win am, naim be say dem cheat the other two grin

God bless u for this . The lineup has been doing pretty well before this match , in fact it was the way they’ve been playing so well that made both our fans and rivals believe maybe we will have a good showing today ( which we did if not for the unfortunate ref ) ...... Now all this is the work of Arteta and his coaching crew .

How they are making it seem as if the assistant coaches programmed the brain of the players within few days as to how to execute the game with Arteta having minimal input is what baffles me.
To be honest, this is not our points.

Our points is this guys have been trained by Arteta and they have game plans set out by Arteta already. Las las, na dis same boys go play and carry out the execution(and no be Arteta). Let Arteta trust this guys to carry out the game plans instead of always barking, directing and gesticulating CONSTANTLY. Na small thing e for remain make him hold pes pad sef grin
We feel it limits the boys' freedom to do their things.

What you have said here means nothing because we lost.
Let the assistant take the L then. undecided
Lol... Can you imagine what you're saying?
The thing with you I noticed is that you take things black or white, you don't view process at all.

So the performance the guys gave means nothing cos we lost shey? grin

That's how you said lacazette is the same as balogun since he doesn't score. But now you enjoy arsenal play and even credit his presence to our attackers clicking even tho he's scored only one open play goal since we last had that argument. Meaning he's still the same non-scoring lacazette.

So to you, today's game means nothing cos we lost even tho we would have probably won if not for xhaka foolishness and Gabriel's red. The performance counts for nothing abi since we lost shey??

Spy spy!! grin grin

This is all whataboutism and nothing else . Diego Simeone , Conte , Klopp and other top coaches have their own ways of jumping on the touch line , barking instructions to their players telling them whether to defend , attack or simply recycle possession as the game may require .

What most of u usually do deliberately ( because it’s Arteta who is a rookie coach and hasn’t proven himself anywhere before he got Arsenal job ) is that u single him out for serious criticism when he makes take some tactical errors at critical points in the game . That Loserpool game almost everybody knows we Arsenal will not go to Anfield all guns blazing attacking Loserpool on their home ground . So how is passing instructions to his players to form a defensive a problem here ?

Agreed the defensive approach to that very game didn’t work , but we have seen the same Arteta beat city and Loserpool with this same approach catching them on counter after playing what people like to call haram football. Arteta is rookie coach who would definitely get some calls right and get others wrong .....he’s not some damn pep guardiola yet , he’s still learning the ropes. Those constant barking , getisculation( and any other words u use to refer to him constantly dishing out instructions to players during matches ) are the same he used when we were winning 5-0 , thrashing spurs and other good games we’ve seen this year . Now linking those actions of his to the good showing the boys had today just dey somehow .

But it seems everybody has made up their mind on this discussion so I will just not continue repeating the same thing over and over again jare.
Lol... Like Roland says ystdy or two days back
"winning Manchester city will be too much to ask from these guys, but I beg the boys to not play like coward at least"

Now, Arteta hardly do all these gesticulation and barking on a constant when playing average or small team but he does it when playing big teams. Reason why it seems we are always afraid playing all these big teams even when we have the tools to at least play our game. Arteta beating Liverpool 2-1 is with that cowardly display is not something one should be proud of in terms of performance cos na triple decker we park dat day. I'm not against Arteta and I don't view him as a rookie coach presently, all I ask is let's play our game (as we did today) instead of all those haram football that we do wen playing man city or Liverpool. We normally give these teams over-respect more than what they deserve and it's annoying.

Also, you should at least know we made our concerns/postulations days before the match. I believe it would have been agenda driven if we made it after the match

There’s nothing to refute in ur claim Na..... ur claim is just an assumption that is not based on any fact.

U alluding the fact that Arteta was not on the touchline to bark instructions to the players(which is part of what he’s paid to do ) to the reason we played well today , but I pointed it out to u that Arteta actually was working remotely by passing those same instructions to his assistants . I recall somebody already pointed it out that the assistant guy also barked those same instructions on the touchline; at least I saw him do that a few times today .

And no I’m not misconstruing this to mean u hate the manager , I just feel trying so much to malign the manager even when he’s done no wrong is just an agenda and nothing else .
This is no agenda, at least I try as much not to be agenda-driven when making my point or observation.

Watching Liverpool match, in a certain situation I saw Arteta barking and bellowing on players to go back when Liverpool wanted to attack. Even when arsenal players went back, he still gesticulated for them to even go further back which made our defence line so deep. We played like cowards which made transitioning in our attack harder. There was a player (I think lokonga, not sure sha) who made a sullen face wen Arteta made that but he just have to do the needful. Same thing happened against man city (first leg).

Now look at this game and this high position martinelli and saka kept when we are attacking and compare with Liverpool's game or Man u game. Our players felt free, they knew their work since they've practiced it all week and they executed it without the constant gesticulation and barking. This constant barking will limit them cos they'll feel remote controlled instead of actually playing their game.

Before the game myself, most.ob, dave.P and Sod(I think) postulated that we'll see more free game since Arteta isn't their and arsenal shocked us by even exceeding our expectations. Now let's wait and see if we'll see such freedom when playing Liverpool (2nd leg) with Arteta at the touchline.

Hopefully God keeps us alive by then.

Those are your opinions. That fact is Rodri was a mainstay at a top club and had many suitors including Barcelona. He was not a nobody that Pep turned to into something else. Gabriel Jesus was Brazil next big thing at that time as well and had many suitors in Europe gunning for his signature. The picture you are trying to paint won't fly.
Many players at mainstay in top team yet they still have limitations e.g Fred, jorginho, xhaka. No be same Fred wey guardiola court yet presently most man u fans won't fret if he's sold?

They're so many top talents that's heralded as next big team yet when they move to big clubs nobody will hear about them again. They abound well and there are examples.

My point is guardiola did well by turning them from good players to even better players. Heck, partey was more rated in athletico than this same Rodri if I'm not mistaken

I never liked Rodri at athletico to be honest. Maybe it was just me but he never really impressed me.

Jesus was rated quite alright but I'm not sure any top team in Europe would have draft him straight into the first team like the way pep did when he was ousting aguero. Even till now, I wouldn't want him as my striker. I don't know about you sha

Does Grealish costing man city a 100m means he is a better player than Messi that costed PSG nothing? All I see are average players going for ridiculous prices and paid made them good with his super tactics.

You would have all sworn for any chelsea coach that would have attempted to price cancelo from juventus to bring to the price because you think he isn't good enough but today he is balling hard and his price tag needs to be considered forgetting that you wouldn't have wished him on your club earlier.so the problem is not spending but what is he buying?
True. I remember cancelo at juventus, most people wouldn't have wanted him. In fact, I wasn't impressed with his time at juve and wouldn't want him in my team. Now eh, he's one kinda beast!.

Rodri?, Jesus?, zinchenko?,

At a point, i was like maybe na Covid catch them and na team B Midfielders dey pitch.

I doubt Pep had much up his sleeves cos seeing Gundo come on felt like he wanted to simply push more men forward than break anything down.

I think the fact that they fought this well is the consolation from this game.

Personally, i don't like that barking positioning from the touchline that Arteta does. I hope they see it and tell him. He had better notice too. Cos he barked all thru for that 5-0 we chop for the Etihad.

The EFL match on Thursday is going to be without Arteta too, so i hope the boys do the needful.
Lol.. Pep was confused, he didn't know what to do than just hope his players improve the passes right. I mean man city at a certain time was budeying the ball and pep just sat there motionless. Lol
He even put gundo after the red card in order to see out a win

I also hate that constant barking from Arteta especially in big games. One or two talk is fine, then allow them do their things. I loved as the assistant coach did. Shout once in a while but let it don't be constant.

very proud

If we loose to big teams like this, I'm sure no one will be shouting Arteta out.

The mentality the boys showed even after conceding the 2nd goal was amazing. We never gave up untill the final whistle

Special mention to thomas partey, man went full 9 tail mood today.

I hope this game will not drop their confidence coming into the game, because if we can play man city like this with 10 vs 12, then I think we can beat any team in the league
Mehn.. All of them try o not just partey. The press was coordinated and blocked all man city passing lanes, the attack was fluid aside nelli made many wrong decisions with his eagerness to score goals(which I believed was the only downside to his game as a simple pass would have been better). The attack also helped the defence and our defence was great mehn!

A match in which we lost but I'm not angry. And I'm not sure it'll affect their confidence, on the contrary it will boost them since they'll believe they can go toe-to-toe with anyone. I just hope Arteta watches this and allow this guys to be free when next we play big teams

They probably felt overwhelmed. I sometimes wish to see Partey given a Free role more than he is seeing. That man acted like two players after the red card. Maybe that's why we aren't seeing his Atletico Form at Emirates.

Arsenal also felt Different with no Arteta at the touchline. No need to fire down their necks with go here. No be puppet footie. Lol

As for City, we may have unlocked a simple way for a more intentional side to defeat them this year.
The bolded is true. Reason why I said I was feeling like we might win with Arteta not available. Watching that Liverpool match and how he was telling all our players to push back even while we wanted to attack just killed the trust I had for him in big matches!

At a certain time in first half, the possession was 75% 25% in favor of arsenal. Who would have believed that with Rodri, de bruyne and Silva in their midfield, we possessed them like that? Not me.

Xhaka and Gabriel red card just killed everything. I won't blame martinelli even tho I knew he would have done better for that glit edged chance

I like the mentality the boys showed, even when the game was 10 vs 12 we still troubled man city until the final whistle.

If I can remember vividly, if it was arsenal of old, that penalty and red card could have destroyed us mentally which would have allowed man city to stroll pass us with sterling or mahrez scoring a brace while Kevin de bryune will conclude the game with a outside the box shot while mustafi will rasie his hands up in dissapointment cheesy

Okayy..
If you're really passionate and interested in it, I'll advice you on just a few things I feel can help you.

1.. Learn how to understand trends
2.. Learn candlestick patterns. Esp engulfing and rejection candles (very important)
3.. Support, resistance and trend line are keys to become profitable. Learn then along with understanding trends
4... Limit or don't even use indicator. Learning no3 and incorporating Fibonacci might be all you need
5... Stick to trading higher timeframe. Let the least be at least 1hr tf if try anything lower.
6... Forget about making profit for at least first 6months(except if a mentor is providing you setups and signals). Aside that, demo and demo and forget anything live trading for now.

Note: Forex is not a get rich quick scheme. It's a skill and like all skills it takes time to learn and become proficient. Forget anyone telling you that you can make it sharp sharp like in 2-3months time.

That's just the few advice I can render.
Good luck!

A very very great performance. So so proud of all the players and their performances.
Xhaka always been xhaka must just cause trouble after a great performance. Seems if he doesn't brainfart during a good performance, him body no go sweet am.

Gabriel 2nd yellow is a bit harsh. Warning could have been better since he knew Gabriel was on yellow and the foul wasn't a violent one. I feel most of these ref not playing ball affects critical situation.

Anyways, I'm so proud of the team even in loss. I hope they keep up the momentum
