LostMyZeal: You make a very fair point though
Won't be surprised if Rangnick stays on as coach beyond the 6 months
To be fair to him, 6 months short wella To be fair, it isn't. Six months is well enough for a coach to at least steer a top club to top 4 and if possible one or two trophies. What you guys need is a young innovative coach not all these old men. Man u will be going round in circles if they're carried away by his good form (if any) come end of season. 6 months is the best and most appropriate. Then a young innovative coach should take over. |

BlueRayDick: I was actually happy everyone was behind the team despite the loss on Saturday .
Even rival fans supported us sef not because of the hate they had for city but cos of they character we displayed that day. I’m not one of Xhaka’s biggest fans but seeing him lead the press after that fraudulent red card decision just warmed my heart towards him ......even the other players on their respective social media pages showed resilience and how they stood head tall after the unfortunate officiating of the match . That display was 5 star performance from the lads, coupled with the fact that it was an in-form man city we did that against. We lost cost of two costly decisions/events, and even the performance after the red card was such a resilient performance. How I classify such performance on Saturday is "one step backward and 3 step forward". If this guys feel same way and act on the confidence and performance they had, we'll surely make top 4 this season. This is same way klopp Liverpool started |

Segedinho: That free-kick was so special.
Seems you didn't see the way he won it....
The trajectory of Alonso's coiled kick was as a result of how he won it...if u watch d ball well ...u will see how havertz bent wen he was going down ...d ball followed same trajectory.
Check how kovacic rebound kick bent as well.....they followed d root .
Following my comrades......havertz scored that first goal cos if the root was faulty....Alonso and kovacic would have vollied d ball.
The 2nd goal was the best...see the way havertz yelled at VD......this caused commotion in the background as well...
The yelling alone is enough...so I think he scored d 2nd goal as well . Gosh!!.. Sege Sege!!!! My man This is funny asf I swear |

So I don't see why the gloom and disbelief in not making the top 4 from you guys here. One thing I know is just 2-3 great matches from man u and everybody will say man u is back . Me I know I won't count man u out reason why I dey pray make Chelsea drop points and form so that the 3rd position go open for we top 4 hopefuls . Schalke04 was a force under Rangnick

Neuer Lahm Robben Ribery Lewandowski Kimmich Muller

ObaIgwe1: Tuchel Drops Lukaku For Liverpool Game!
This is an example of what I was debating with Roland some months back concerning Arteta not being in good book with players that take their criticism and frustration to press.
I saw that Lukaku interview, I felt his pain and frustration but I also knew his complaint about the manager and the club in front of the press is wrong and will not go down well with Tuchel and the club. So I was not surprised with this news. Tuchel said he created a noise they don't need.
Players taking their frustration to the press do more damage than good. It should only be an option when all other options have failed.
I guess Lukaku is trying to force his way back to his former club, and he might just succeed with his approach.. but making enemies of his current manager and club with some fans to achieve it is wrong. There are better and much more noble way to force that move. To be honest eh, I don't see why Lukaku should even have the mind to complain not to talk of granting that stupid interview. Maybe you might feel his pain and frustration but honestly I don't (that's if he had any to start with). This is someone who was injured for months and then he came back while been benched for like 3-4 matches(not months oo). As a professional, the best thing is to make sure that you prove your manager wrong for not slotting you right in not feeling frustrated, pained and dejected cos the timescale is too small to be. Why should he be granting interview and spewing that rubbish just cos he was benched for 1-3 matches (I heard that interview was 3 weeks ago it happened). Who does that? And the worst part was that he's already started scoring when he was finally called into action which Chelsea needed, thus making him potentially indispensable before the stupid interview flooded the media. He would have definitely started ystdy match due to his fine form of 2 matches ago Lukaku is stupid and foolish and there's no justification for him even getting pained and frustrated to even start with... Maybe If there's any justification for his pain and frustration I would have understood your point.. |

kokanepyramid: There’s everything wrong with the commentary it’s borderline boring to hear.
And this gender equality is just balderdash. Last year I got a memo at my place of work for all hiring managers on recruitment process to fill vacant roles in their respective departments. This is a manufacturing operations business and of course male dominated. The memo was more or less stating guidelines that will favor females in the recruitment process. Where’s the gender equality in that.
Today they are talking “gender equality “ tomorrow it is “inclusion and diversity” all just to sound politically correct. While everything turns upside down.
That commentary was painful to hear. You can imagine the bolded. This is very serious. Maybe they wanted a change of something cos sometimes I don't even understand the rationale behind all these things. The female commentator Karen Carney right? To be honest I do enjoy her commentary, not very well compared to the guys but I just feel she's not doing bad. She's just there and it's understandable |

It’s same nonsense Nigeria Breweries did bringing Toke to anchor Gulder ultimate search which put a nail on the coffin for them. Wetin concern woman with Gulder? how many women dey drink Gulder?
They are taking this nonsense too far. Actually I don't mind women being a commentator or even joining the men in analysing the game. But you see that one that female are refereeing men's game or acting like linesman(abi lineswoman), I hate that with passion. I don't want to sound anti-woman ish or stuff but I think they should be a limit to all these things. Zakamori: Look at Pep's teams na... Because they play so high, they rely on tactical fouls to break opposition play before it gets too dangerous.
Most of those fouls are hardly card worthy. It is an art. The slide on rodri on martinelli that almost broke martinelli leg, yet they gave a corner kick. Is that not a foul and wasn't it card worthy? Even the foul that was done on partey that was card worthy, the ref decided to brandish saka a yellow card for complaining. While I agree that guardiola men mastered the art of tactical fouls to break up play and avoid card, yesterday's game was not one of such games. The ref was quick to give arsenal a card for any small error while same foul doesn't have same consequence for man city. It's just annoying |

Roland17: They have deviated from the original purpose in the usage of the VAR system. Last season, they struggled with managing how much time was expended in reviewing plays, and which play gets reviewed. They seem to have cut that down but that comes with its own demon...The haste to move on from reviews and the subjective interpretation of scenarios is now what we are battling with.
When Bernado went down, the referee immediately knew it was a dive, he saw it, he waved Bernado up but he was communicated to take a look at the incident. I expected him to watch the contact and its impact on the fall, instead he focused on the contact after the player was already going to the ground. It was frustrating because it was an obvious dive that was intentional as Bernado had no plans of playing that ball. Martinelli had a similar chance to go down after contact was made during a goal attempt but he stayed up.
The missed PK on Odegaard was far more sacrilegious because Ederson made contact with Odegaard before disrupting the motion of the ball. In contrast to Bernado's, Xhaka made impactful contact after the player was heading to the ground. Every analyst I have listened to argue that was a clear PK and are disturbed that the referee did not call it. It begins to bother into the lines of match fixing based. I hate when referees superimpose themselves in games, making themselves the center of attraction. It's just annoying cos most times I don't understand how a professional referee can't just get it right and at least, this is something that's very clear. Same thing happened against Liverpool vs Tottenham. The penalty against wolves by Man city and many others. I wouldn't be too concerned if there's no var(as I'll attribute it to ill-luck and human error) but when there's var to correct all these human error and yet it still persist, then questions have to be asked |

AnfieldFan: So pep turned Gundogan and Silver to world-beaters right, Gundogan had injury issues from Dortmund which overlapped into his early City days but thankfully, he's alright now (Side question, who brought him to Dortmund, Gundogan that is) , as for Silva, wasn't this guy making headlines alongside other future stars in Monaco....The less said about Cancelo in the Seria A the better, imagine saying a player who made Seria A team of the season was unimpressive... Why not talk about Robbo who got relegated with Hull and bought for less than 10 Mill being regarded as one of the best LB's in Europe.. Keita has been in a hospital more than he's been fit for Liverpool, players hardly get consistency with his injury history but that not withstanding, dude has shown his ability in the matches he's been able to play...Case in point, against man United earlier... You would testify 2017/18 was one of Chambo's best football seasons with mad performances against both big and small teams before a nasty injury that ruled him out for the season and half of the next..Since then, he's struggled to get rhythm because of incessant injury reoccurrences.... It's a testament to the fact that Pep can spend so much and his major competitor can't when you consider that the only major midfield signing Klopp has made since is a 30 year old Thiago who's plagued with injuries (exceptional player though)..You know why, he sold for less than 25 milli to be spread out over 4 yrs... Why don't we talk about Klopp turning Hendo who people said wasn't talented enough to be a player or challenging with Grandpa Milner while not forget Gini who's having troubles at PSG despite being one of our better midfield generals...
You guys can praise Pep all you want, but don't be disingenuous or make unfair comparisons with Klopp.... I have a question for you, if Arteta wins the league with Arsenal 2-3 years from now, would you consider it a better achievement than Pep's maiden league title with City? I don't compare pep to klopp and if you know me better, you'll know I Stan klopp more than pep but that doesn't mean I won't appreciate pep greatness when I see his work. To be honest, I don't know where this pep vs klopp argument emanated from. I never did that na Maybe you're mistaken me with someone else |

Bombblacks: You have changed the conversation. You have digressed from trying to paint those players as nobodies to accepting they where quality players before going to City. That's the bare minimum for each and every coach. Create a system that improves and fine-tunes your players abilities to make them better. I am sure Moyes, Arteta, and even Potter at Brighton have done that at their various teams. It's easier to do with 50million plus talented players tho. This here is the my point. Not all coach can do that and that's my point generally |
