Currently the UK runs a point based system for the issuance student visa. They consider your POF, your CAS and your English language and assign the appropriate points to them. Once you hit 70 points your visa is sure. The areas where you should be worried if you made a mistake on them are : your CAS number, your POF calculation (funds below the required amount) and your proof of English (IELTS or WAE)

If you are covered in this area, any other minor mistakes you make while filling the application form can be overlooked by them. However to put your mind at rest, you can write a correction letter to them and correct the error you made and scan and upload it along with your other documents when you are uploading your documents.

UKVI cannot deny your visa because you mis-spelt your name or your put a wrong house address or all these other reasons you guys cancel your applications for.

They know you can request for AR once they deny you on any reason that is not one of the PBS parameters and it will be overturned.

Personally my POF was only held in my accout for 19 days before I submitted and paid for visa and IHS before I realised that the funds has to be there for the full 28 days before online application submission, but I did not cancel my application. I waited for them to send NSF for proof of funds so I can print and resend to them but it didn’t come and my visa was approved.

My school demands for POF to issue CAS ,I also stay in Abuja though . Is there a way I can pay for biometrics and do it next day? Even if I have to pay more I don’t mind.
If u don’t mind can u explain d part where u said it’s another journey if my school demands POF to issue CAS pls ?

Pay POF into your account and use your bank statement - your uncle can't sponsor you directly

You have to be consistent and persistent on it .
I got w separate date today. I got 27th around 12:am and I amended it around 9am and I got 16th of July.
Even if it tells you that u can make appointment for now and try later; keep on clicking it.
It works for me and it will work for you especially around midnight

UKVI seems to be working very fast now.

My biometrics was done on 22nd June.
NSF mail received on the 5th of July . Reply sent on the same day.

I just called them to confirm if they received the reply to the NSF only to be told that decision has already been made on the 6th of July. Isn’t God wonderful?

I was a sponsored student
So I submitted the company’s bank statements and I also submitted my own bank statement from a Microfinance bank.
They asked for my own bank statements again after I had submitted so I wrote a letter to them that I wasn’t even supposed to submit mine in the first place since I’m a sponsored student so they should treat my case as a sponsored student case that I’m not resending my bank statements but I’ve attached my letter of sponsorship for them to verify

Moreso, i wanted to ask.
Asides these documents, (pof, tb, cas, bsc, passport bio page) what else is necessary and compulsory.

Is transcript really important since my bsc is already there?
Is birth cert really important, since my dob is on my passport?
Is cv really important? Because i've been self employed.
Is work reference important? I dont have a 5year gap. I just have 3year gap.
Although i have these supporting documents. But is it really necessary i upload them?

Furthermore, a friend of mind said somthing about summary page. That it is compulsory we upload the summary page, however, since people have been saying their success story on thread, none of them ever spoke about any summary page on the list of item they uploaded.

Hello, please anyone going to university of Sunderland, my friend is a bit confused, there's a request in the portal to upload FINANCIAL EVIDENCE and another place for ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL EVIDENCE. now he has uploaded bank statement as the financial evidence and it was accepted, but they are still requesting for the Additional financial evidence, which he has no clue what it could be.
Please kindly help. That's the only thing left for him to get CAS . Note he has already uploaded Telex which has been accepted as well.
