Yes we are a little light in midfield but we have the academy guys stepping up and the Transfer window is still very far from closing. Not like we need 10 new faces in the midfield either. This is the first preseason where all the guys integrated for the first time. Non of them besides Lindelof is new to each other nor the league. They managed to lose against Barca after a calamitous blunder by Valencia and its all doom and gloom season. We are good if we can just kill this buy every world star mindset we have. We have enough young talents willing to deliver if the manager can keep trusting in them. Martial will come good with game time and more trust from the manager.If Mourinho can stop throwing him to the bench after every solid performance or he flops a bit, maybe he'll come good. That notwithstanding more wingers will come. More people will step up but as it is now we will challenge this season.

Our transition from defense has been poor since last season. Not even talking about preseason here. If we can't move the ball forward quickly, atleast let the crosses to the big man upfront look well placed not like some training ground kick and clear tactics. We seriously need Perisic and a new DM... hell a solid left back and right back and not these average pretenders we are deceiving ourselves with. Not impressed by anyone of them in previous seasons regardless of whatever deceptive accolade we the fans have been according them as our drop over the years made them look like worldclass. Case in point Valencia our so-called best Right back in the league who is still miles away from the best right backs in Europe. My assessment of next season is not based on this match or our preseason so far but i believe for now ill just have to take it that we might challenge for top four and possibly the league which would be over reaching. In Europe we'll be going in as underdogs and be lucky to get anywhere near the UCL quaters or Semi's.

The condition PSG gave veratti for new negotiations was to change his agent.. maybe in retaliation to saying the club owner was holding Veratti as a prisoner. Veratti didn't just wake up one morning and felt choosing Raiola is the quickest way to United. These kinds of players won't even be choosing Raiola to help negotiate a deal to Manchester when Barca are on the wings. Raiola was and has always been first about his clients as was obvious from the donnarruma contract issue with Milan, so don't think because we've gotten four of his clients in recent times that every player he has under him should play for utd. It is so obvious what he is saying. The man is literally begging Ed Woodward to get him what he wants. You can't claim to be the richest club in the world and be foot dragging on transfers especially when we have a manager who unlike the flops we had in the past knows what he wants and needs the resources to get what he is targeting. Ed is an awful negotiator walai. David Gill would have wrapped up three transfers in one day before we even left for the tour.
