I can't believe the FRSC is given arms to enforce traffic regulations. Another ill-thought out move. I know traffic police don't bear arms and there's no reason FRSC should be made to bear arms to carry our their duties.

The FRSC are notorious for random and indiscriminate stopping of motorists without any reason other than to ask baseless and needless questions which is actually witch-hunting of motorists in the hopes of generating revenue.

Perhaps, The VIO should be armed too if every uniformed agency in the country is going to bear fore arms and next will be LASMA.

I think the FRSC should be scrapped or merged with the VIP, needless duplicity of function.
