zabuur: Well, I would have loved it if u had given me a better example. Collecting money at a naming ceremony isn't related in any way in practicing ones religion. Thats obviously a personal thing. Let me clarify it for you if you would be interested and try to learn. Some don't like it when they use such opportunities to collect money from people during parties because, it causes a lot of delay. Some Alfas instead of collecting money once, they use it as an avenue to make money thereby saying, pay for this, pay for that. Its just a personal thing and not in any Islamic practice. As for Elzakzaky, the pillars of Islam are 5 and all Muslims abide by that throughout the universe. There might be some personal things they do that some oppose or they have issues amongst them Thanks for your response my dear brother. I am not the type that criticise other religions. You started the debate by going into an area that you don't know much about hence my response that your faith (Islam) is also not perfect. In that ceremony that I told you about, both parties were reciting Quranic verses to back up their claims. Thank God that some Muslims that were there told us that some of the Quranic verses being recited were even dangerous for the new born baby. The issue of religion is a delicate one & if not for the fact that you were dabbling into an area that you seem to know not about I wouldn't have answered you. Let's wait till the day of Judgement to know who is right. Good day my brother |
Christianity Etc › Re: CAN Mourns TB Joshua 72 Hours After Death by joefelin2345: 10:52am On Jun 09, 2021 |
zabuur: Christianity and disunity in Nigeria.
Christmas - some of the Christians would still come out and find it faulty
Jerusalem Pilgrimage - not all of them do attend as a sign of worship
Lent - not all of them accept it
Dressing to church- some even forbid wearing shoes
Holy Bible- different versions
Church - some don't even get married.
Now they want Christian court. Which arm of Christians would be in charge of making laws, rules and punishments.
Yet, they'll be the ones to determine who goes to heaven or not, they are very quick to condemn every soul lost thats not Christian.
No one has the right to condemn any other religion. Quran says,
Say, "O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship. Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."[3] That's the beauty in the Religion my brother. Divided we stand, united we fall. Even Muslim are not united. I was at a Moslem naming ceremony recently in Oshogbo. The whole program almost flopped as a result of disagreement between two Muslim sects. While one opposed collection of certain offerings, the other insisted until people started leaving one by one and that was the end of the ceremony. Beside, y are Suna Muslims are after Elzazaky's group in Nigeria? |

More than 80% of Nigeria attendees of his programs are looking for his free will and miracle. The real Nigeria members of his Church are less than 10% of the entire population. He is more honour in SA and Liberia than in Nigeria. Pastor Tunde Bakare to the best of my knowledge is equally not a member of either CAN or PFN. Is he also an evil man? Kwashiman: Honestly the only reason why we lost that war was because the Yorubas and the Middle belt soldiers made it possible, at the initial stage of the war it was a East vs North shoot out and the Biafrans were wiping out the dumb Hausa soldiers along the Northern border of Biafra, we were winning the war until Ojukwu made the fatal mistake of invading the West and getting the Yorubas who were mostly neutral involved, that was the major game changer in that war... but this time the shoot out will be a North vs East affair so we can settle our scores with them once and for all, thankfully the Middle belt who have suffered massively in their hands won't join them this time... I just hope Yorubas maintain a dignified neutrality so we can even the scores with our historical enemies - the North once and for all. You really made my day by admitting the bloody mistake made by the Late Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Gburugburu of Nnewi. Y invading Yoruba Nation with the do called Liberation Army in the first place? Your man Late Captain Nwabosi had succeed in killing Chief Ladoke Akintola already. Again why would you use Col Victor Banjo (who he also killed later) to go & attack his own people. I am even surprised that as a great historian & scholar that he was to have forgotten so doon the Yoruba experience in Ilorin with Alimi, a stranger who once assisted Afonja to defeat Alafin Aole only to later usup his power & put Ilorin under Sokoto Emirate. I agreed with you that should any war broke out again in Nigeria (God forbid), the Yoruba shall remain neutral. No more shall we be drag into a matter that does not concern us. I spent 5 years at UNN & discovered that an average Igbo sees the Yoruba as a traitor because of their erroneous belief or info that Awolowo assured them of Yoruba support (though that is still debatable). Today everyone is On-Your-Own (OYO). What benefit did Benjamin Adekunle, Gen. Olutoye & other Yoruba war Veterans apart from Obj receive. The duo were unceremoniously retired from NA on flimsy charges. I begi, make them pack for one side ,& just allow my people to go in peace. |

How many graduates of UI who failed English language and Maths and had 3 or 4 credits are out there? We never knew such existed until now so JAMB and NUC must investigate UI. My grouse with you is about your boasting of Unilag 6 credits criteria. According to one educational philosopher, every form of education is good except the one that bores. |

This issue must be investigated. NUC must step in. The university of Ibadan admission criteria then prescribes a minimum of 5 credits including English and Maths. Your principal failed English language yet got admission

Kingdemu: When Libyans took up arms against the Libyan state, they thought they were doing the right thing. They thought the solution to their problems then was getting rid of Ghaddafi, and there was nothing anyone could have told them to dissuade them from continuing with their campaign.
Today, Libya is by far worse off than it was during the time of Ghaddfi. The country is now fragmented, with warlords ruling over the fragmented bodies.
Also, their country is now a training ground for terrorists all thanks to that mistake they made that no amount of counselling would have stopped them. If they had known what would become of their country as a result of their action, I am sure they would have done something different.
In Nigeria, we are gradually taking that route. Thanks to politics, we have refused to look at our problems from an objective point of view, instead we choose sentiment all the time. The same sentiment that drove the Libyans to self destruction.
When someone says there are external forces whose interest is to destabilise the country behind what is happening in Nigeria, despite having several countries to make reference with, educated people will shout him down and call him a liar, because like the Libyans, they don't want to listen to the voice of reason until it is too late.
We have Syria, we have Libya and a host of others to take example from, but we are closing our eyes. Can you compare Ghadafi with Haribu? |
